Wade C. Wilson
Born March 28, 1924, in Nook, Juniata County, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Lova (Shover) Wilson. His wife, Helen (Harris) Wilson, whom he married March 8, 1949, survives.
Also surviving are: daughters, Mrs. David (Helen Ann) Henry and Donna M. Wilson, both of Port Royal RR2; sisters, Gladys W. Henry, Harrisburg and Lila W. Depew, Camp Hill; and two grandchildren.
He was a 1943 graduate of Juniata Joint High School, Mifflintown.
He was a U. S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
He retired from Standard Steel Corporation, Burnham, having served 20 years in the melt shop. He was also a part time farmer.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Sunday school in Nook. He was also a member of the Beale Township Fire Co., the Friendship Fire Co., Port Royal, the Walnut Grange 776, the Lutheran Brotherhood Branch 8191, and the United Steelworkers of America.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Nook, with the Rev. Claude Baublitz officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Nook.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal.
Bess Wisegarver
Born Jan. 2, 1912, in Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Bessie (Clouser) Billman. Her husband, Alton D. Wisegarver, preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1979.
Surviving are: a son, Robert W. Wisegarver, Lewistown; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
She was a graduate of West Chester State Teachers College.
She was a French and Latin teacher at Rothrock High School, McVeytown for 12 years, retiring in 1967.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewistown.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Gerald A. Krum officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Family will provide all flowers.

Greta B. Wisehaupt
Born May 3, 1917, in Mifflintown, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Elizabeth (Kerlin) Beward. Her husband, John D. Wisehaupt, died Jan. 11, 1997.
Surviving are: children, John D. Wisehaupt II, Bellefonte, and Diane Borgmann, Warminster; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
She was a secretary for the Mifflin County School District for 22 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewistown, and a member of the Rachel Circle Women of ELCA. She was active in Meals on Wheels, a member of Family Circle Sunday School Class and a member of the Lewistown Business and Professional Women's Club.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 120 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Gerald A. Krum officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of services Sunday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Parlor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 120 N. Main St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of the arrangements.
Kevin M. Witkowski
Born May 18, 1974, in Hackensack, NJ, he was the son of Robert C. and Barbara Ann Witkowski of Kingston Township, PA.
Also surviving are: a sister, Elizabeth-Ann M. Witkowski; maternal grandparents, Barbara Ann O'Connor, Beavertown and Ray and Linda O'Connor, McClure; paternal grandparents, Charles and Florence Witkowski, NJ.
Services were held Saturday July 10, 1999, at the Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville. Interment was in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
Anna E. Wolfe
Born Jan. 24, 1909, in Walker Township, Juniata County, she was the daughter of the late Lucian Jacob and Anna (Duncan) Etka. Her husband, Robert A. Wolfe, preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 1975.
She was the last of her immediate family.
She retired in 1970 from the Juniata County Board of Assistance, Mifflintown, where she had served in the capacity of caseworker, supervisor and acting director.
She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, member and past worthy matron of the Mifflin Chapter 260, Order of the Eastern Star and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 298, all of Mifflintown.
She was a 1927 graduate of Mifflintown High School and a 1931 graduate of Shippensburg Teachers College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in education.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home, 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. William N. Esborn officiating. Interment will be in Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
There will be no viewing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059.
Robert E. Wolfgang
Born Jan. 31, 1924, in Juniata County, he was a son of the late Franklin C. and Hazel L. (Crisswell) Wolfgang. His wife, Joyce L. (Bobb) Wolfgang, whom he married Sept. 3, 1948, survives.
Also surviving are: three brothers, Lester E. Wolfgang, Montoursville, Paul E. Wolfgang, 78 Tree Leaf Road, Reedsville, and Harold E. Wolfgang, 417 Locust Street, Burnham.
He was a lineman for Penelec for 36 years, retiring Jan. 31, 1984.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre with the U.S. Army with the 259th Field Artillery Battalion.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lewistown and the Lewistown Lodge, No. 203 F&AM.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Karen McCachren officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 N. Brown St., Lewistown, or the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Third St., Lewistown.
James R. Wolfkill
Born June 13, 1928, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late J.R. Maxwell and the late Albert W. and Florance F. (Hopple) Swank. His wife, Barbara Jeanne (Burd) Wolfkill, whom he married May 8, 1950, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Yvonne Adele Wolfkill, 436 Walnut St., Sunbury, James Sylvester Wolfkill, 1202 Wolverton St., Sunbury, Vanessa Rae Wolfkill, 289 W. Fifth St., Lewistown, Lisa Jeanne Baitsell, R-341 Bratton Ave., Lewistown, and Mrs. Scott (Renee Teresa) Pacholski, 257 W. Fifth St., Lewistown; a brother, David C. Wolfkill, Fifth Avenue, Burnham; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, John Edward Wolfkill, in 1958.
He was employed by Marlette Homes for 10 years and was a group leader there. In 1990, he retired as manager of the Shelter Services Inc. with six years of service. He served as a Pennsylvania state forest fire warden for 30 years, and as a tower lookout and smoke chaser for the Bureau of Forestry. He had also served as chaplin for the Survivors' Support Group.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lewistown.
He was a fourth degree Knight of St. John's Council Knights of Columbus; past president of the Senior Bowling League; chairman of the Seven Mountains Bowling Hall of Fame and Seven Mountains Bowling Association; former president of Mifflin Juniata Mental Health Association; a member of the Pa. Council of the Blind, Blue Juniata Chapter; and a member of the Diabetic Support Group at the Juniata Foundation for the Blind.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Thomas Marickovic and the Rev. John Rocco officiating. A recitation of the Rosary will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Irene Womeldorf
Born May 30, 1907, in Mayport, she was a daughter of the late Dio and Olive (Schick) Gruber. Her husband, Darl D. Womeldorf, died in 1973.
Surviving are: a son, Robert Womeldorf, Dubois; brothers, John H. Gruber and Donald Gruber, both of Hawthorn; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, two sisters, and one half sister.
She was a school teacher in Hawthorn and treasurer of Womeldorf Trucking, Lewistown.
She was a member of Lewistown Presbyterian Church, Mifflin County Historical Society, the Garden Club, the Music Study Club, and the Soroptimist Women's Club. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, New Bethlehem.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Bethlehem Cemetery, New Bethlehem, with James Dietrich officiating.
There will be no public viewing.

LEWISTOWN - Bess Wisegarver, 87, a resident of Ohesson Manor, formerly of 241 Shaw Ave., Lewistown, died at 5:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at the manor.
LEWISTOWN - Greta B. Wisehaupt, 82, formerly of 408 Yale St., Lewistown, died at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at Hershey Medical Center.
WILKES-BARRE - Kevin M. Witkowski, 25, of East Hampton St., Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday evening July 6, 1999, as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
MIFFLINTOWN - Anna E. Wolfe, 90, of Brookline Manor Convalescent Rest Home, Mifflintown RR1 and formerly of 20 Cross St., Mifflintown, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at the nursing home.
REEDSVILLE - Robert E. Wolfgang, 76, of 26 Brooknar Drive, Reedsville, died at 6:47 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2000, at Lewistown Hospital.
LEWISTOWN - James R. Wolfkill, 71, of 257 W. Fifth St., Lewistown, died at 3:37 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital.
BELLEVILLE - Irene Womeldorf, 92, a resident of Valley View Haven, Belleville, formerly of 115 Sunset Road, Lewistown, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at Valley View.
