John Brady Jr., 83, of Stroudsburg, died December 4, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus in Easton.
Born on July 26, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late John, Sr. and Anna (McGown) Brady.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1972 and received a Purple Heart medal.
John was a security guard for Securitas Security until retiring after 30 years of service.
He attended St. Luke's Catholic Church in Stroudsburg and was a member of D.A.V..
Surviving are two grandsons, Isaac Brady of Stroudsburg and Patrick Brady of East Stroudsburg; a sister, Anna Kiefner of East Stroudsburg; a brother, Tommy Brady of North Carolina; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia A. Brady and Joan Brady.
There will be a viewing from 9:00 to 10:00AM Thursday, December 11, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 818 Main St., Stroudsburg, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM with the Rev. Carmen Perry as celebrant. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
Cecelia Kuchinski
(November 20, 1941 - January 10, 2015)
Cecilia Marie Cassebaum Kuchinski, 73, a resident of Hillcrest Retirement Community in Jackson Township, passed away Saturday evening, January 10, while under hospice care with loved ones at her side and in prayer. She was the widow of William Kuchinski.
Born on November 20, 1941, in Scranton, PA she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Irene (King) Cassebaum and had been a resident of East Stroudsburg since 1965.
A graduate of Scranton Central High School, Cecilia and her husband owned and operated B&B; Electrical Contracting until his death in 1982. She was a home technician and case worker for Monroe County Children and Youth for ten years; assistant director of Monroe County Transit Authority for six years; and intensive case manager and case worker for MHMR (now MHDS) for thirteen years.
Cecilia was a member of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in East Stroudsburg and a former member of East Stroudsburg Youth Association. She loved animals, especially horses, and had a passion for social services and helping people, especially children.
Surviving are three children, Col. William Kuchinski and his wife Sharon of Lansing, KS, Suzanne Balmoos and her husband Bobby Sr. of Wooddale and Deborah Kuchinski of East Stroudsburg; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Bobby Jr., Andrew and Hope; a sister, Patricia Nape of Scranton; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Norma June Swint of East Stroudsburg. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Claire Hennigan and Dolores Yerke.
Friends and family may visit from 9:30AM to 11:30AM Saturday, January 31, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at noon at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, 200 Brodhead Avenue, East Stroudsburg with Rev. Joseph Kutch as celebrant. Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Equi-Librium, Inc., 524 Fehr Road, Nazareth, PA 18064, a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic horse riding programs for children, youth and adults.
Ralph O. Romspert
(April 23, 1924 - January 14, 2015)
Ralph O. Romspert, 90, a resident of Grace Park in Stroudsburg, died Wednesday, January 14, at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth J. (Viehmeyer) Romspert who died April 12, 2007.
Born on April 23, 1924 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Ralph M. and Sara (Zoll) Romspert and lived in Monroe County since 1986.
He worked at SKF Industries in Philadelphia until retiring in 1985 after 43 years of service.
Surviving are a son, Ralph C. Romspert, Sr. and his wife Diane A. (Dennis) of Cherry Valley; two grandchildren, Bryn A. Romspert and Ralph C. Romspert, Jr.; a brother, William Thomas Romspert of Langhorne; and nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00AM on Tuesday, January 20, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00AM with Rev. Paul Crikelair officiating. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Cemetery in Brodheadsville.

Geraldine A. Konieczko
(November 21, 1955 - January 12, 2015)
Geraldine A. Konieczko, 59, of Bayonne, NJ, died Monday, January 12th at University Hospital in Newark, NJ.
She was born on November 21, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY and worked for I.E.S.I. in Lyndhurst, NJ.
Surviving are: her husband, Raymond J. Konieczko; mother, Dorothy (Schavel) Ferry of Henryville; a son, Raymond J. Konieczko, Jr. of Bayonne, NJ; a brother, Vincent J. Ferry, Jr. of Henryville; two sisters, Elizabeth Acocella of Tannersville and Jeanmarie Whalen of Jersey City, NJ. She was predeceased by her father, Vincent J. Ferry and a sister, Elaine Kraft.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Monday, January 19, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg. Graveside service at 1:30PM Monday at Pocono Union Cemetery, Henryville, PA with Rev. David Brandon officiating.
Giovanna M. Adelmann
(February 24, 1940 - December 15, 2014)
Giovanna M. Adelmann, 74, of Stroudsburg, passed away Monday morning, December 15, at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Robert J. Adelmann with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.
Born on February 24, 1940 in Stroudsburg, she was one of seven children to the late Joseph and Gertrude (Bingham) DeRenzis, and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
Giovanna was a floral designer with an exceptional eye for decorating and designing. She worked at Evans Florist in Stroudsburg for ten years, Bender Gardens in Stroudsburg for 25 years and Imaginations in Tannersville for ten years. In addition to floral design she also loved her time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in Stroudsburg.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Diana Gross and husband Tom, of Bloomsburg, Katherine Wuerstle and husband Mark, of Bethlehem, and Joanna Goetting and husband Jay, of Whitefish, MT; nine grandchildren, Laura, Danielle and Kevin Gross, Mark Jr, Eric and Leah Wuerstle, Hunter, Nickolaus and Ella Goetting; three brothers, George DeRenzis, Tom DeRenzis and Jim DeRenzis all of Stroudsburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Albert DeRenzis, Lois Corby and Joe DeRenzis.
There will be a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Thursday, December 18, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg; and from 9:30 to 10:00AM on Friday, December 19, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 818 Main Street, Stroudsburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Friday at the church with Rev. Carmen Perry as celebrant. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg
Shirley P. Caiazzo
(October 21, 1934 - December 14, 2014)
Shirley P. Caiazzo, 80, of Stroud Township, passed away Sunday morning, December 14, at Pleasant Valley Manor in Hamilton Township. She was the widow of the late Ralph Caiazzo who died in 1971.
Born on October 21, 1934 in Canadensis, she was a daughter of the late William Boyer and and the late Malvine (Williams) Rice.
She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County and a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church in East Stroudsburg.
Shirley was a receptionist for Dr. Brehm and Dr. Wagner for many years and then for Pocono Pediatrics until her retirement. After retiring she worked part-time at One Stop gas station on Fifth Street in Stroud Township.
Surviving are a son, Ralph Caiazzo and his wife Laura Mason-Caiazzo of East Stroudsburg; a grandson, Mason Byrne; a brother, William Ronald Boyer of Summerton, SC; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Rice, a sister, Eileen "Pat" Lewis, and brother, Dennis Boyer.
There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00AM on Friday, December 19, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg; where the funeral service will begin at 11:00AM with Rev. Brian Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery.
