Ronald N. Schiavone, 60, of Stroudsburg, died Monday morning, May 9, 2016, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Barbara Ann (Flynn) Schiavone.
Born on February 28, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Monroe County for the past twenty years.
He was a manager for New York City Transit Authority.
Ron was a member of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church and Father Francis M. Craft Council #11434 Knights of Columbus both of East Stroudsburg.
In addition to his wife, surviving are his parents, Rocco and Rose (Serreao) Schiavone; five children, Vincent, Alessandra, Kerin, Nikole and Derek Schiavone; a granddaughter, Rilee Ike; and a brother, Robert Schiavone.
Viewing hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:30PM on Thursday, May 12, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Friday, May 13, at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church, 200 Brodhead Avenue, East Stroudsburg. Private cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Father Francis M. Craft Council #11434 Knights of Columbus.
Ann Visone

Ann Visone, 99, of Stroudsburg, died Friday morning, April 29, 2016. She was the widow of Joseph Visone who died in 1982. She resided in Stroudsburg with her granddaughter Kim Razzano and her wife Maureen Cunningham. Previously she resided in Wantagh N.Y.
Born on August 16, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Aquino) Mogavero and Michael Mogavero.
Preceded in death by, her sister Renee "Minnie" Mogavero, and her brother Anthony Mogavero.
During World War II she worked on an assembly line for fighter planes in New York, and later was a retail manager for Alexander's. She worked until she was 85. She will be remembered by all as a wonderful grandmother and woman who in her feisty way, wanted nothing all for everyone to experience happiness and peace.
She is survived by a daughter, Joann Razzano of Huntington, NY; and three grandchildren, Kim Razzano and her wife Maureen Cunningham of Jackson Township, Randi Razzano of Los Angeles, CA and Joseph Razzano, his wife Renee and two children Alyssa and Jenna of Melville, NY.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30AM on Wednesday, May 4, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg with Rev. Carol Dinger-Gadsden officiating. Private burial will take place at a later time at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
Preston G. "Jake" Post

Preston G. "Jake" Post, 89, of East Stroudsburg, passed away Sunday morning, June 26, 2016, while under hospice care at Spring Village of Pocono. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Fabel) Post with whom he shared 50 years of marriage at the time of her death on May 24, 1997.
Born in Stroudsburg, on December 9, 1926, he was the son of the late Charles Lasher formerly of East Stroudsburg and the late Olive (Post) Langdon formerly of Lansford.
He worked as an auto mechanic for Lauffer's and Ott Thomas of Stroudsburg, then for Drackett of East Stroudsburg and Banner Metals of Stroudsburg until retiring.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1946.
Jake was a member of the Pocono Mountain Classic Car Club. In addition to working on older cars, he enjoyed going to car shows, hunting, playing billiards, woodworking and traveling back and forth between the Poconos and Arizona.
Surviving are his son, Larry P. Post and his wife, Joellen of East Stroudsburg; daughter, Dianne Post Thorn of East Stroudsburg; twin sons, Emmett Post and his wife Diane of Phoenix, AZ and Allen Post and his wife Esther of Peoria, AZ; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a half brother, Charles Lasher and his wife, Wanda of Stroudsburg; and his companion, Joyce Romansky of East Stroudsburg.
Visitation will begin at 1:00PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00PM Thursday, June 30, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg. The Rev. Candy LaBar will officiate. Cremation took place at the H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg. His cremated remains will be buried with his wife at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg following the service.

Eleanor J. Masi

Eleanor J. Masi, 80, of Brooklyn, NY, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.
Visitation from from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM Monday, June 27, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
Bertram W. Ledwith

Bertram W. Ledwith, 78, of Tannersville, died suddenly Sunday evening, June 12, 2016 after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Janice L. (Shoemaker) Ledwith with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
Born on April 5, 1938 in Saugerties, NY, he was a son of the late James and Lila (O'Brien) Ledwith. He and his wife lived in Elkins Park and moved permanently to Tannersville 6 1/2 years ago, where they had a part-time family home for many years.
He served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War.
Bert was an Air Traffic Controller for the F.A.A. and then worked for W.W. Adcock Pool Supplies in Huntingdon Valley.
He was a member of Reeders United Methodist Church and was an avid animal lover.
In addition to his wife, surviving are two children, Rebecca L. Ledwith of Fox Chase and Kevin J. Ledwith and his wife Erica of Peckville; two grandchildren, Katrina and Trace; a third grandchild due next week; and a half-brother, Gregory Mulstay of Saugerties, NY. He was preceded in death by a brother, James H. Ledwith, Jr; two half-brothers, John Mininchelli and Edward Mulstay; and two half-sisters, Louise Mininchelli and Margaret Mulstay.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 18th at Reeders United Methodist Church with a greeting time beginning at 10:30AM followed by a noon memorial service and luncheon. The Rev. Larry Mark will officiate. Cremation was private.

Peter D. Gola

Peter D. Gola, 45, of East Stroudsburg, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. He was the husband of Marnie (Kinney) Gola.
Born April 22, 1971 in Springfield, MA, he was the son of Douglas Gola and the late Frances (Rudnick) Gola. He was a Monroe County resident for the past ten years moving from Maryland.
Peter was an Army Ranger veteran who was stationed at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
He was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Springfield, MA and Westfield State University, Westfield, MA where he received a BA in Criminal Justice
Peter worked for Giant as a Store Manager in Allentown.
He enjoyed hiking, but most of all spending time skiing and playing basketball with his son.
In addition to his wife he is survived by, father, Douglas Gola and his wife Martha; son, Brandon Joseph Gola; daughter, Samantha Marie Kinney-Gola; two sisters, Kathryn E. Gola, Kerry Ann Gola; in-laws, Richard and Ann Marie Kinney; and brother-in-law, Derek D. Kinney.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 15, with a prayer service at 7:00pm at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Cremation will be private.
