William H. Klinger, 72, of Drums, died Saturday afternoon, April 30, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown. He was the husband of Donna (Hamblin) Klinger with whom he shared 21 years of marriage.
Born on August 21, 1943 in Youngstown, OH, he was a son of the late Harold J. and Martha (Korb) Klinger.
Prior to retirement, he was an accountant for Transtar.
Bill was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Drums and Hazle Azalea Fellowship Lodge #327 F&AM.; He was active in the United Methodist Church, and was a certified United Methodist Lay Minister. He was also a former member of Rotary and Elks lodge.
In addition to his wife, surviving are: two daughters, Kathleen Goodwin and her husband Rodger of Meridian, MS and Karin Goolsby and her husband Blaine of Hinton, Alberta, Canada; two step-sons, Theodore S. Chitambar and his wife Karen of Newport, VT and J. Kendall Chitambar and his wife Donna of Boulder, CO; 11 grandchildren; one great grandson; two brothers, Fred Klinger and his wife Brenda of St. Augustine, FL and Kenneth Klinger and his wife Fran of Gainesville, FL; his parents-in-law, Lionel & Dorothy Morrow of Stroudsburg; two sisters-in-law, Dottye Jill Duval of Etna, CA and Deslee Clark of Applegate, CA; and nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will begin at 2:00PM Thursday, May 5, at Cherry Lane United Methodist Church, 4326 Cherry Lane Church Road, Tannersville. Cremation was private and burial will be at a later date at Cherry Lane Methodist Cemetery. An additional memorial service will be held later this year at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Drums.

Everlina Jones
(April 4, 1926 - January 4, 2016)
Everlina Jones, 89, of Tobyhanna, died Monday evening, January 4, 2016, at Spring Village at Pocono in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of James Jones with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.
Born on April 4, 1926 in Wadesboro, NC, she was a daughter of the late James K. and Mary (Gatewood) Lomax. She lived in Monroe County since 1954, after moving from Baltimore, MD.
She worked for the former National Drug Company in Swiftwater for 17 years.
Everlina was a very active member of the Tobyhanna United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two sons, Weldon Andre Jones and his wife Debbie Feldman Jones of Baltimore, MD and Brian Wendell Jones and his wife Linda Hubbard of Tobyhanna; three sisters, Edna Grace Allison of Cape May, NJ, Ada M. Lomax of New Haven, CT, and Barbara Brooks of Fayetteville, NC; two grandchildren, Benjamin Samuel Sender Jones of Baltimore, MD and Elizabeth Ann Hubbard of Tobyhanna; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bland, Herbert, James and Reginald Lomax.
Viewing will begin at 10:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 9, at Tobyhanna United Methodist Church, Main Street, Tobyhanna. The Rev. Jessica Lynn Ross will officiate. Entombment will follow at Mountainview Mausoleum at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.

Sandra L. Selwood
(August 27, 1932 - January 7, 2016)
Sandra L. Selwood, 83, of Stroudsburg, died early Thursday morning, January 7, 2016, while under hospice care in her home.
Born on August 27, 1932 in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Bauman) Selwood and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
She was an insurance agent for Small & Son Insurance in Stroudsburg until retiring.
Sandra was a member of Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, and a former volunteer with R.S.V.P.
Surviving are a sister, Ann E. Litchman of Stroudsburg; and several cousins.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM on Monday, January 11, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The Rev. Robert Shank and Pastor Ted Good will officiate. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.

Alejandro Santos

Alejandro Santos, 18, of Jackson Township, died Friday, December 25, 2015.
Born on June 19, 1997 in New York, NY he worked at Great Wolf Lodge and was a junior member of the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Eva Fuentes; and two sisters, Briana Fuentes and Gabriela Fuentes.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Wednesday, December 30, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Funeral services will begin at 10:00AM on Thursday, December 31, at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow.
Joyce S. Werkheiser
(February 8, 1930 - December 22, 2015)
Joyce S. Werkheiser, 85, of Tannersville, died Tuesday morning, December 22, while under hospice care in her home. She was the widow of Harry E. Werkheiser who died March 24, 2006.
Born on February 8, 1930 in Reeders, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Gertrude (Kemmerer) Kresge and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Scotrun.
Joyce is survived by three children, Kathy Koberlein of Albrightsville, Robin Miller and her husband, Jeffrey of North Easton, MA and Michael Werkheiser of Tannersville; two grandchildren, Mckenzie Miller and Ethan Miller both of North Easton, MA; two sisters, Barbara O'Donnell of Sciota and Alice Clark of Lakewood Ranch, FL; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 12:30PM followed by the memorial service at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 26, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The Rev. Alfred Ruggiero will officiate. Cremation was private.

Dianne L. Evans

Dianne L. Evans, 62, of Bartonsville, died Thursday evening, December 3, 2015, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg.
Born on January 17, 1953 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Merlyn and Marion (Schmidt) Evans and lived in Monroe County for most of her life.
She retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot after 17 years of service.
Dianne attended Faith United Methodist Church in Stroudsburg and was a member of the CLU Club in East Stroudsburg. She enjoyed traveling, going to yard sales, stampbooking, and crafts.
She was mommy to her little dog, Mia; and also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Michael R. and Candy Evans of Bartonsville; nephews, Michael Evans, II and Matthew Evans; her furry niece, Nikki; aunt, Barbara Zwalley; half-sister, Kathy Evans-Reardon; and step-sister, Marie Kidd.
Viewing will begin at 1:00PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00PM on Wednesday, December 9, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The Rev. Candy LaBar will officiate. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
