Dolores B. "Judy" Lumley, 79, of Analomink, died Monday, December 14, 2015, at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, FL. She was the widow of Jack B. Lumley.
Born on September 7, 1936 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Wilkin) Keyes.
Judy retired from Patterson-Kelley, after which she worked as a nanny for three small children until retiring from that job. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and crocheting.
She attended Grace United Church of Christ in Tannersville. Surviving are two brothers, Steven Keyes (Blanche) of Cresco and Edward Keyes (Betty) of Arlington, TX; four nephews, Eric Keyes, Jeremy Keyes, Steven Keyes Jr. and Kyle Boyer; two nieces, Chaney Keyes and Krista Keyes; two great nieces; one great nephew; her best furry friend, Muffin; and many many friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM on Monday, December 21, at William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Pastor William "Biff" Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Delaware Water Gap Cemetery.

Kenneth H. Rarick

Kenneth Harrison Rarick, 65, of Stroudsburg, died suddenly on Monday, December 14th.
Born on January 25, 1950 in Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Blair and Joyce (Fairclothe) Rarick and lived in Monroe County for most of his life.
He served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 and worked as a carpenter for Don Lishman and threader at Beaufab Mills.
Ken was a fan of any Philadelphia sports team and enjoyed playing poker.
Surviving are two sons, Brian Rarick of Hobbs, NM and Chad Rarick of Stroudsburg; three granddaughters, Natalie Rarick, Brittany Seigman and Cheyenne Seigman; three sisters, Josephine Rarick of Stroudsburg, Marie Strunk of Minisink Hills and Barbara Ehasz of New Jersey; three brothers, Roy Rarick of Reeders, George Rarick of Stroudsburg and Jack Willis of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Rarick on February 16, 1979 and a brother, Billy Baird.
Viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00AM on Saturday, December 19, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. There will be no service. Private cremation will take place following the viewing with burial in Kresgeville Cemetery.
Helen M. (Fish) Taylor

Helen M. (Fish) Taylor went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning, December 14, 2015, she was 96. She was the daughter of the late Philander K. and Elizabeth M. (Cramer) Fish. She was pre-deceased in death by her husband of 64 years, Reverend Leon Taylor, also her brother Emmett Fish, and sisters Bertha Long and Mary M. Smith. She is survived by her children Lee H. Taylor (Marilyn) of Easton Maine, and Deborah Taylor Kohut (Albert) of Port Charlotte, Florida, her grandchildren, Mary E. Ritchie (Jimmy) of Fishers, Indiana, Margaret M. Miller (Steven) of East Stroudsburg, Stanley J. Kohut (Jennifer) of Tampa, Florida, Michele R. Taylor of Easton, Maine, seven great grandchildren, five great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of New Life Fellowship Baptist Church for many years. New Life was formerly Open Bible Church where her late husband was the Pastor. Her life has been centered within her church and her family wherever she lived.
Mrs. Taylor worked for many years in the cafeteria at South Cobb High School, in Mableton Georgia while her children were students there. She retired work from Hess’s department store in Stroudsburg, PA.
The visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00PM on Thursday, December 17th at William H Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Services will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 18th at New Fellowship Baptist Church, 456 Resica Falls Road (Route 402), East Stroudsburg (Marshalls Creek) PA. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.

John "Jack" E. Roeber, Jr.
(May 6, 1943 - December 7, 2015)
John E. "Jack" Roeber, Jr., 72, of Reeders, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015, at St. Luke's University Hospital - Bethlehem Campus, with his wife and family by his side. He was the husband of Frances M. (Ranberg) Roeber with whom he shared 24 years of marriage on September 27th.
Born on May 6, 1943 in Houlton, ME, he was the son of the late John E. Sr. and Dorothy (Hill) Roeber and lived in Monroe County for most of his life.
He served in the National Guard.
Jack was a self-employed mechanic for over 30 years and worked on the Jackson Township road crew for the past 15 years.
He was an avid car enthusiast and a member of the Maryland Chevelle Club and National Chevelle Club. For the past ten years he was a dedicated motorcycle rider.
In addition to his wife, surviving are a sister, Nancy Roeber-Moyer and her husband Barry of Stroudsburg; father-in-law, Philip Ranberg of Reeders; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will begin at noon followed by a memorial service at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 12, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The Rev. Candy LaBar will officiate. Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Robert N. Cunningham

Robert N. Cunningham, 94, of Stroudsburg, died early Wednesday morning, December 2, 2015, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Gladys (Sailer) Cunningham with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage this past July.
Born on January 7, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Allen and Ethel (Stevenson) Cunningham and lived in Schooley's Mountain, NJ and Panther Valley, NJ prior to moving to Stroudsburg.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Europe in WWII. In retirement, he traveled throughout the country for the annual reunions of Battery A 494th AAA Gun Battalion.
Bob taught middle school history for a total of 32 years, beginning at PS 41 in Greenwich Village, NY (1950 to 1962), and later at Schooley's Mountain, NJ and Morris Township, NJ, until his retirement in 1981. He also served as a guide at the canal museum at Waterloo Village.
He & Gladys moved to LaBar village in Stroudsburg early in retirement, where he enjoyed many new friendships, especially in the wood carving group. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Stroudsburg; and a life-member and chaplain of VFW Post 2540.
He is survived by his wife; two children, Beth Thorson of Germantown, WI, and Neil Cunningham of Canadensis, PA; three grandchildren, Peter Thorson, Rowenna Oesch and Liza Roulston; and two great grandchildren, Bria and Piper Oesch.
Memorial services will be held Monday December 7th at 10:00am at First Presbyterian Church, 575 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
Douglas A. Knowles
(August 8, 1956 - November 25, 2015)
Douglas A. Knowles, 59, of East Stroudsburg, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Diane (Bush) Knowles with whom he shared 36 years of marriage on April 21st.
Born on August 8, 1956 in Portsmouth, VA, he was a son of the late Glenn Knowles and Margaret (Seese) Knowles and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
He was a police officer and detective with the Stroud Regional Police Department until retiring in September 2014 after 25 years of service.
Doug was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1106 and CLU Club.
He enjoyed golf, riding motorcycles, camping, hunting and fishing; and was also an avid Raiders and Phillies fan. In his early years he played baseball.
Doug was a devoted loving husband and father, was a caring giving loyal friend, and truly enjoyed life.
In addition to his wife, surviving are a son, Daniel Knowles of East Stroudsburg; a brother, David Knowles of Saylorsburg; a half-brother, Glenn Knowles of California; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Lee Possinger.
Viewing hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00PM on Tuesday, December 1, and 10:00 to 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 2, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. John Harding officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
