Joseph S. "Sonny" Campagna Jr., 68, of Plum Borough died April 1, 2001. Born March 29, 1933, in Export, he was a son of Joseph Sr. and Rosetta Wible Campagna. Surviving are his dear friend and companion, William Knettle of Plum, and a brother, George Campagna. He is also survived by an aunt, Rose Evangelista and her husband, Dom; an uncle, Russell Campagna and his wife, Helen; a niece and nephew. Friends were received at Edwin N. Wolfe Funeral Home. Shaver
Kenton P. Shaver, 80, of Plum Borough died July 29, 2001. Born in Detroit, Mich., he was the son of William and Leda (Prichard) Shaver. Mr. Shaver was a retired employee of Equitable Gas Co. Surviving are his wife, Janet (Murphy) Shaver; his daughter, Marilyn Dzaack of Monroeville; a sister, Helen McNitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann (Harwood) Shaver; and a son, Kenton Shaver. Friends will be received 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday at Jobe Funeral Home. Zarisky
Agnes Zarisky, 82, of Renton, Plum Borough, died July 30, 2001, at West Penn Hospital. Born Jan. 21, 1919, in Rossiter, she was the daughter of Gusty and Emely (Farkas) Nagy. Surviving are her son, Stanley Zarisky of Monroeville; a daughter, Joyce Eshman of Export; four grandchildren; sisters, Julia Horvat, Marion Shyosky and Elizabeth Kuhla; and brothers, Frank, Louis and Zigmond Nagy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Zarisky; sister, Emily Bone; and a brother, Gusty Nagy Jr. Friends will be received 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Stephen P. Dolence Jr. Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Frank DeLuce officiating. Interment will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.

Mikolaczyk
Mary Mikolaczyk, 86, of Plum Borough died July 23, 2001. Born in Linhart, Pa., she was the daughter of John Sr. and Sophia (Kish) Shanter. Mrs. Mikolaczyk was a homemaker and member of St. John the Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mikolaczyk. Surviving are her children, Nancy Varrato and Jan Mikolaczyk; sisters, Elsie Stasko, Elizabeth Acno, Josephine Nellis, Ella Reshko, Anna Mae Anderson and Theresa Hribal; and a grandchild. Heid
Herbert Heid, 73, of Verona died July 24, 2001, at UPMC St. Margaret. Born July 1, 1928, he was the son of Ralph and Violet t (Thorton) Heid. Mr. Heid was retired from J&L Steel. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Surviving is his brother, Ralph Heid of Plum Borough. Arrangements were handled by Burket-Truby Funeral Home. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Soxman
Thomas Joseph Soxman, 57, of Penn Hills died July 24, 2001. He was the son of Thomas Soxman and the late June Rose (Fisher) Soxman. Mr. Soxman was the owner of Soxman Funeral Homes, Roth and Morasco chapels. He graduated with a degree in psychology from John Carroll University. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and went on to graduate from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1971. His community membership included Kiwanis Club of Penn Hills, YMCA board member, Knights of Columbus #4242, Penn Hills Chamber of Commerce, Penn Hills Planning Commission, Univer-sal Loyal Order of Moose and president of the board for Plum Senior Citizens Center. As a member of St. John the Baptist Church, he served as Eucharistic minister and on the pastoral council. Surviving are his wife, Donna Soxman; his sons, Brian and Mark Soxman; siblings, Nikki and Phil Blough of Rhode Island; and 10 nieces and nephews. Grace Cunliffe, mother of eight
Grace S. Cunliffe, 72, of Plum Borough died Oct. 14, 2001. Born in Plum, she was the daughter of Rolla and Alice (Dempsey) Stotler. Surviving are her husband, Charles Cunliffe; her sons, Charles, Robert, James and Richard Cunliffe; her daughters, Christine Braden, Betty Ann White, Catherine Fix and Caroline Adamski. Gourash
Andrew A. Gourash, 84, of Plum Borough died Feb. 20, 2002. Mr. Gourash was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II where he served as a navigator and was a prisoner of war. He was an office manager at Chrysler Co. Parts Division and an active member for more than 50 years of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Josephine Gourash; children, Andrew, William and Raymond; two granddaughters, Theresa and Catherine Gourash; a brother, Francis Gourash and his wife, Dorothy; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Gourash. Margaret Putzlocker, 81, of Plum borough died Feb. 23, 2002. Born in Pittsburgh, she was formerly a clerk with a pharmaceutical company. Surviving are her husband, James Putzlocker; her children, Robert Breide and Donna Blackmore; stepsons, Jimmy and Kenny Putzlocker; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Breide. Claire K. Mower, 74, of Florida and Grove City died Feb. 24, 2002, at United Community Hospital in Mercer County. Born June 16, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Norman and Irene (Truitt) Regelman. Mrs. Mower was the retired manager of Mower Hardware in Plum Borough. She was a member of St. Petersburg (Fla.) Garden Club, Boca Ciega Sail and Power Squadron of Treasure Island, Fla. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Ephraim Mower; her daughters, Cheryl Podwika of Wyoming, Pa., Janet Helms of Destin, Fla., and Kathleen Churilla of Plum; sons, Roy, Ephraim IV, James and Ronald Mower; and a sister, Dorothy Schultz. Dorothy Sandor, 60, of Plum Borough died Feb. 19, 2002, at Woodhaven Care Center. Born in Lincoln Place, she was the daughter of Helen (Andriso) Gazdacko and the late Steven Gazdacko. She was a retired secretary with Pittsburgh X-Ray Imaging Co. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, William Sandor; her daughters, Susan Rich and Denise Yonek; and a brother, John Gazdacko. Friends were received at Maurice L. Mary E. Hendry, 89, of Plum Borough, formerly of Penn Hills for 40 years, died Feb. 15, 2002. Born Oct. 28, 2002, in Fernigaire, Scotland, she was the daughter of John Smith and Jean (Cook) Esson. She was a member of Verona Presbyter-ian Church, Eastern Star, Penn Hills Old Timers Association, and Verona Eagles. She was also a member of Penn Hills YMCA and Blackadore Avenue Women's Association at Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, William Hendry Sr.; children, Jean Wynn, William Hendry Jr., Malcolm J.C. Hendry and Mary Panza;11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. McGaughey
Lewis O. McGaughey, 76, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Plum Borough, died Feb. 22, 2002. Born in Birdville, Pa., he was a steelworker with Edgewater Steel. Mr. McGaughey was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II who served aboard the USS Nicholas. He was a lifetime member of VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite (Wieser) McGaughey. Surviving are his children, Marguerite Slaczka, Lewis McGaughey and Lois Wydra; and five grandchildren. Friends were received at Soxman Funeral Homes. Interment was at Plum Creek Cemetery.

Leah A. Merola, 38, of Plum Borough died March 27, 2002, at Shadyside Hospital. Born in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Jerry and June (O'Block) Merola. Melvin G. Houck, 68, of Baltimore, Md., formerly of Plum Borough, died July 25, 2002. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Houck; and his children, Brian, Christine and Randy Houck. Richard Ionni, 70, of Regency Park in Plum Borough died Sept. 29, 2002. Born in Hershey, he was a son of Anthony Ionni and Mart Tancredi Ionni. Patricia Glass, 66, of Plum Borough died Oct. 5, 2002. Born in Homestead, she was a daughter of Andrew Mattiko Sr. and Bertha Jusko. Mrs. Glass was a payroll clerk at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and a member of Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church in Plum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Glass Sr. Surviving are her sons, John Jr., Lawrence, James and Paul Glass; brothers, Lawrence, Richard and Andrew Mattiko Jr.; and seven grandchildren. Clara (Kerlin) Mihalik, 79, of Plum died Oct. 3, 2002. Mrs. Mihalik was an active member of the Plum AARP. She was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Gordon and Margaret Ondovchik; and brothers, Bill and Edward Kerlin. Surviving are her husband, George Mihalik; daughters, Georgia Titus of New Jersey and Tina Carney of Illinois; a son, Richard Mihalik of Florida; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Loretta Farbarik of Turtle Creek; and a brother, David Kerlin of California. William D. Nestor, 52, of Plum Borough died Nov. 2, 2002. Born Jan. 28, 1950, in Brandonville, W.Va., he was the son of Wilbert and Edith (Showalter) Nestor. Mr. Nestor was a truck driver for most of his life. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Beverly (Mink) Nestor; his children, Brian Nestor of Allegheny Township, Brandi and Becky Nestor, both of Plum Borough, and Barbie Dominic of Plum Borough; sisters, Victoria Sadler and Cynthia Mihalic; brothers, Larry and Wade Nestor. Marjorie (Hawtree) New-port, 71, of Penn Hills died Nov. 2, 2002. She was a member of Penn Hills AARP and Hebron United Presbyterian Church. Elsa Ann (Held) Linaberger, 64, formerly of Penn Hills, died Nov. 6, 2002. She graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, and was an elementary school teacher. Mrs. Linaberger was a volunteer at Penn Hills Service Association, aided in leading the Children's Choir at Hebron United Presbyterian Church, served on the board of Mars Home for Youth and the Leadership Council of Ingomar United Methodist Church and as a member of Philanthropic Educational Organization chapter. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, James Linaberger; daughters, Anne Mazula, Mara Linaberger and Elizabeth Best; and a grandson, J.T. Mazula. Private arrangements were handled by Charles W. Trenz Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Ingomar United Methodist Church, 1510 W. Ingomar Road, McCandless Township. Surviving are her husband, Stanley Stotler; her children, Dennis and S.
