Corsi
Anthony 'Tony' Corsi, 86, of Center Township passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2003. He was born January 14, 1917 in Supino, Italy, a son of the late Cataldo and Maddalena Corsi. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church, Center Township. Mr. Corsi was a retired employee of J & L Steelworks, where he worked as a crane operator in the blast furnace. He was also a member of the United Steelworkers of America, Local 1211, the Sons of Columbus, American Italian Club, a founding member of the San Cataldo Organization and a former member of the M.P.I. Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Daisy (Palazzi) Corsi, who he married April 30, 1942; one daughter and son-in-law and two sons, Carol Ann and Joseph Orsen of New York, Anthony David Corsi Jr. of New Jersey, and Ronald Richard Corsi of Center Township; and four grandchildren. Friends were received in the Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home in Aliquippa. Entombment followed in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Hopewell.

Puhalla
Leslie William Puhalla, 80, of Monaca died May 26, 2003 at Kindred Hospice - Heritage Valley. He was born in Monaca, a son of the late William and Anna Elizabeth (Olenik) Puhalla. Mr. Puhalla worked as a machinist at J & L Steel in Aliquippa and was a member of United Steelworkers of America Local 1211, St. John the Baptist Church in Monaca and the First Catholic Slovak Union of the USA and Canada. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Kuzma) Puhalla; three children, Valerie Daman of Monaca, Cindy Puhalla of Nashville and Lorrie Campbell of Baden; two sisters, Emma Maravich of Aliquippa and Rita Piroli of Hopewell; four brothers, Frank Puhalla of Beaver, William Puhalla of Monaca, Rudolph Puhalla of Baden and Robert Puhalla of Monaca; and by five grandchildren. Friends were received at Batchelor Brothers Funeral Home in Monaca. Services were held at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Kurimsky officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.

Tepsich
Anna M. 'Anka' Tepsich, 76, of Aliquippa passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Beaver Elder Care. She was born Nov. 11, 1926 to the late John and Mary (Mihalow) Wargo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milan Tepsich; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Ann (Bosh) Wargo; one sister and brother-in-law, Josephine (Wargo) and Joseph Csomay; and a brother-in-law, Michael Shafran Sr. Surviving are her devoted children, Marlene and George Willy of Hopewell, Anna Marie Tepsich and Arthur Deusch of Ambridge; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; one sister and many nieces and nephews. Friends were received in the Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Aliquippa, where a service was held. Internment was private.

Barto
Betty A. Barto, 71, of Monaca passed away Saturday morning, May 24, 2003 in The Medical Center, Beaver following a brief illness. Born to Charles C. and Gwendolyn M. (Reese) Dockter in Monaca on April 9, 1932, she was a graduate of Monaca High School, Class of 1950. Betty recently retired from Friend Motors in Bridgewater following 50 years of service as the office manager following Friend and Kiefer Pontiac, the dealership's previous owner. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monaca and loved to read and travel when she had the time. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 51 years, Stewart (Dutch) Barto, who she married, Jun 21, 1952; as well as her beloved daughter, Cynthia P. Barto of Monaca and beloved son and daughter in law, Gary R. and Karen L. Barto of York, Pa.; her three grandchildren, Aaron and Matthew Barto and Brittany Barto; her brother: Richard Dockter of Ambridge; her sister in law, Patricia A. Dockter of Monaca; her aunt, Mary (Lid) Weigel and two uncles, David Reese and William L. Reese, all of Monaca. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and a close friend, Jane Brac, in southern California. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Dockter, on March 9,1988; and a sister, Patricia McNally on Aug 25,1995. Friends were received in the Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, where services were held with with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis D Burnett, officiating. Interment will follow In Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. Bianco
Vito Bianco, 82, of Monaca died June 4, 2003 at The Medical Center, Beaver. He was born in San Vito Chietino, Italy, a son of Rocco and Fortunata (DeNardis) Bianco. Mr. Bianco worked as a machinist for Townsend - Textron of Fallston. He served on a submarine in the Italian Navy during World War II. An avid gardener and fisherman, he was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Monaca. He is survived by his wife, Maria (Adelina) Della Fazia Bianco; four children, Rocco Bianco, Aurelio Bianco, Anna Marie Bianco and Carla Bianco; a sister, Mirella Pezzella; a brother, Leo Bianco; and six grandchildren. Friends were received at Batchelor Brothers Funeral Home in Monaca. Services were held at St. John the Baptist Church in Monaca, with the Rev. Frank Kurimsky officiating. Burial was in St. John's Parish Cemetery.

Danello
Angeline Danello, 90, of Monaca died June 4, 2003 at Friendship Ridge. She was born in Dawson, N.M., a daughter of the late Antonio and Regina (English) DeVincentis. Mrs. Danello was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Church and the Christian Mothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Danello. Surviving are two children, Stella Engelman of Monaca and Regina Danello of Beaver Falls; a sister, Pierina Bucci of Australia; three children and four great grandchildren. Friends were received at Batchelor Brothers Funeral Home in Monaca. Services were held at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Kurimsky officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery. Fisher
James 'Larry' Fisher, Sr., 66, of Hopewell died Wednesday, June 4, following a prolonged illness. A lifelong resident of the Beaver Valley, Mr. Fisher had lived in Center Township. He was born July 4, 1936 in Roanoke, Va., to the late Hollis W. Fisher and Elizabeth Johnson. He had coached midget football for the Center Area and Freedom Area teams, termite football for Hopewell Area and Little League baseball in Center Township and Freedom. Mr. Fisher is a retiree of LTV Steel Corp.'s Aliquippa works with more than 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Constance 'Connie' Fisher on Nov. 12, 2002; his two sisters, Fran Johnson and Donna Kelly; and a brother, Willis Fisher. A father of three, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Steven Getsay of Harrisburg; two sons and daughters in law, James Jr. and Rhonda Fisher of Hopewell and Timothy and Amy Fisher of Vanport; seven grandchildren, Amber, Steve and Kristy Getsay, Douglas and Samantha Fisher, and David Fisher, and one grandchild due in July; two sisters, Mrs. Butch (Pat) Krosky and Mrs. George (Peggy) Dudas, both of Monaca; a brother, Louis 'Peanut' Johnson and his wife, Nikki, of Trenton, N.J.; two sisters-in-law, Flo Fisher of Beaver and Carol Psik of Patterson Heights; and several nieces and nephews. Helen Fuller, 88, of Monaca died June 1, 2003 at The Medical Center, Beaver. She was born in Monaca, a daughter of the late Chuck and Lula Mae (McElhaney) Hineman. Mrs. Fuller was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Fuller Sr. She is survived by her children, Lee Fuller Jr. of New Brighton and Sandra McCullough of Florida; a sister, Annabelle Smith of Rochester; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Helen C. Hurray, 89, of Monaca died June 2, 2003 at Friendship Ridge. She was born in Monessen, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Serafin) Chludzinski. Mrs. Hurray was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Monaca, Christian Mothers, C. D. of A. and the 500 Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Hurray. She is survived by two children, Marcella Gulley of Monaca and John S. Hurray II of Hinkley, Ohio; three sisters, Josephine Kish of Tonawanda, N.Y., Stephanie Thomas of Charlotte, N.C. and Wanda Dalgren of Sarasota, Fla.; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Friends were received at Batchelor Brothers Funeral Home in Monaca. Services were held at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Kurimsky officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.

Pauline (Gulish) Lis, 72, of Hopewell died peacefully at home Tuesday, May 20, 2003. Born June 26, 1930 in Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Demchak) Gulish. Pauline was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hopewell. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated the fullness of her heart, her life and her vitality to her family. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Lis of Hopewell; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mark Bellomy of Boston; her two grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joseph and Mary Gulish and George and Rose Gulish, all of Ambridge and Michael Jason of Largo, Fla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and John Falatek of Maple Heights, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Lucinda Gulish of Ambridge; and many loving nieces and nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, John Gulish Jr., Peter and Irene Gulish and William Gulish; and four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary and Paul Smelko, Helen Gulish, Margaret Gulish and Agnes and Emery Kish. Interment took place in the Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Township. The Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home in Aliquippa handled arrangements.

Stimel
Cornelia S. Stimel, 82, of North Canton, Ohio, formerly of Pennsylvania, died Thursday, June 5, in Canton following a brief illness. She was a life member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Monaca, Pa., where she sang in the choir, played piano and was a secretary and Sunday school teacher. In addition to her parents, John and Emilia (Majelik) Stimel, she is preceded in death by a sister, Aurelia. Surviving are her sister, Blanche Kovatch of North Canton; three nephews, Wayne Kovatch of Vero Beach, Fla., Jeffrey Kovatch of Swanton, Ohio, and Philip (Kovatch of Clinton, Ohio; two great-nephews and four great nieces. Friends were received at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, in Jackson Township, where services were also held, with Pastor John Watson officiating. Internment was at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made in Cornelia's name to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1200 Virginia Ave., Monaca Pa., 15061.

Asvestas
Aspasia Asvestas, 76, of Hopewell died June 6, 2003 at Aliquippa Community Hospital. She was a member of Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church. She is survived by her husband, Pete Asvestas; children Andrea Asvestas and Dennis and Sharon Asvestas, all of Hopewell; and two grandchildren. Friends were received at Wayne N. Tatalovich Funeral Home in Aliquippa. Services were held at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church and burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Barber
Edith L. Barber, 86, of Potter Township died Tuesday, June 10, 2003. Known to her extended family, friends and neighbors as 'Aunt Edith,' Mrs. Barber was a lady who possessed a bubbly and outgoing personality. She was born April 27, 1917 in New Cumberland, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lou and Ollie Beaver. A longtime resident of Potter Township, Mrs. Barber drove a school bus for a number of years in the Center Area School District. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Barber, on Jan. 3, 1992 and by several brothers and sisters. She leaves a son, John C. Barber of Potter Township; a sister, Mary Cline of New Cumberland, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca, where services were held with the Rev. Dennis Burnett, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Monaca, officiating.

Keefer
Randy Keefer, Sr., age 38, formerly of Monaca, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 14. He was born Dec. 29, 1964 in Rochester, to Frederick Sr. and Darla (Gardner) Keefer of Monaca. He lived in Rochester since last year and was employed as a steel worker with Koppel Steel Corp. in Ambridge. Mr. Keefer was a member of the American Legion Post #580, VFW #4653 and the Saxon Club, all of Monaca. Hunting and golfing were his favorite pastimes. In addition to his parents, surviving are his two children, Randy W. Jr. and Jacob Keefer of Center Township; his companion, Laura Mohney of Rochester; special friend, Richard Roll of Rochester; two brothers, Frederick Keefer, Jr. and wife, Lynda, and Jeffrey Keefer and wife, Lynn, all of Monaca; a sister, Kristi Roman of Monaca; maternal grandparents, George and Anne Gardner of Rochester; paternal uncle, Raymond Keefer of Monaca; paternal aunt and uncle, Alvina and David Terry of Monaca. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Ellsworth and Ellener Keefer. Friends were received in the Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca, where services were held with the Rev. Misicko
Anna Misicko, 93, a former longtime resident of Monaca, died Sunday, May 18, in Friendship Ridge, Brighton Township, where she resided. She was born Dec. 24, 1909 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Adam and Eva (Martino) Misicko. Ms. Misicko was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and a retiree of the Phoenix Glass Co., both in Monaca. She will be deeply missed by her family. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Helen Olexa of Monaca, along with six granddaughters, one grandson, 10 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, 14 nieces and two nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Furgivelle and a brother, Peter Paul Misicko. Ogrodski
Walter Ogrodski, 75, of Hopewell died June 5, 2003 at his residence. Mr. Ogrodski was retired from LTV Steel in Aliquippa and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Hopewell. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Piccinini) Ogrodski; a daughter, Sheryl Reisker; a brother, Al Ogrodski of California; a sister, Jennie Dzvonar of Hopewell; and on grandchild. Friends were received at Wayne N. Tatalovich Funeral Home in Aliquippa. Services were held at Our Lady of Fatima Church with the Rev. Dave Driesch officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Pontillo
Marcella (Marcie) (Murdoch) Pontillo, 78, a longtime resident of Monaca, died Tuesday, May 27, in The Medical Center, Beaver, after a long illness. She was born in Mount Union, Pa., on Dec. 23, 1924, to the late Agnes and Guy Booth. After graduating from Mt. Union High School, she moved to Aliquippa with her cousin, the late Bernadine Bealman. She worked as an artist, painting portraits until she married her first husband, Arch Murdoch, who died at the age of 48 in 1963. After his death, she resumed her career as a self taught artist and retoucher and worked for Studio of Baden, Ferri of Sheffield, and Focus on Color, Conway. She also worked as a manager for Sarah Coventry Jewelry. Having raised five children in Monaca, one of her greatest enjoyments was being a Cub Scout leader. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monaca. In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ken, Donald and Gerald Booth. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 19 years, Emilio (Mel) Pontillo. In their retirement, they spent much of their time traveling and residing in their summer home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Also surviving are her children and their spouses: Daniel and Rosemary Murdoch of Rochester; Mark and Carol Murdock of Industry; Susan and Jack Niedergal of Brighton Township; Michael and Christy Murdoch of Center; Kevin Murdoch and special friend Ginger Cunning, of Chippewa. Step children surviving are Archie and Betsy Murdoch of Aliquippa; Richard Pontillo of Brighton Township; Timothy Pontillo of Farmington, Mass. and his fiance Patty Kelly; Patrick Pontillo of Ambridge; and Mary Judith Pontillo of Brighton Township. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a step brother, Alfred (Bill) Grove of Port Matilda, Pa. Friends were received in the Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca, where prayers were offered followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Monaca. Dvorchak
Margaret T. Dvorchak, 90, of Industry, formerly of Monaca and Uniontown, passed away early Sunday morning, Jan. 18, in the home of her devoted daughter, Rita Turnow, with whom she resided for the past 21 years. She was born on Jan. 22, 1913 in Uniontown, a daughter of the late John and Anna Smigovsky, she was a member of the St. Blaise Parish family, Midland, and the Christian Mothers of her church. Preceding her in death were her husband, Stephen J. Dvorchak in 1982; three sisters, Sister M. Casmir, Mary Medwith and Helen Martin; and three brothers, Michael, William and Stephen Cutler. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Alla Dvorchak of Center Township; two daughters and a son-in-law, Marlene and Thomas Lipnicky, Rochester, and Rita Turnow of Industry; and 10 grandchildren and their spouses, numerous nieces and nephews and two faithful and loving companions, Princess and Gizmo. Friends were received in the Schwerha Funeral Home in Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated with the Rev. Paul Savage, in the absence of her pastor, officiating. Walton
Katherine W. Walton, 93, of Westfield, N.Y. and Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Brighton Township, passed away Jan. 25, 2004 at Westfield Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1910 in New Castle, a daughter of the late John Wagner and Katherine Hermann Long. Mrs. Walton was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Beaver, and a former member of the Wayne Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. Walton, in 1984 and a brother, John H. Wagner. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Bob Heimann, with whom she resided the past two years; a niece, two nephews, a sister-in-law and many loving friends. Friends were received in the Noll Funeral Home in Beaver, where a service was held with close family friend Pastor Clifford Reynolds officiating. Burial was in Beaver Cemetery. Bankowski
Walter Bankowski, 78, of Monaca passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Aliquippa Community Hospital. He was born July 24, 1925 in Ambridge, a son of the late Anthony and Mary Lukasicwicz Bankowski. Following graduation from Ambridge High School, Walter served in the Merchant Marines before entering the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Bankowski was a retiree of the former J & L Steel's Aliquippa works, where he was employed as a millwright. A good natured individual who loved to travel, he built a camper which he and his family had used to travel across the country. He also loved to tend to his garden and to cook, was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca, and the Monaca PNA and bowled with a group of retired J & L employees. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Josephine Phillips Bankowski; two sisters, Anita 'Nellie' Barr of Vanport and Pauline DeMarcio of Freedom; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Dishler; a son-in-law, Michael Dishler; two brothers, Stanley and John Bankowski; a sister-in-law, Sophie Ulicny; and four brothers-in-law, Walter, Frank, Lewis and Stanley Phillips. Friends were received in the Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca, where prayers were offered. A Mass of Christian Burial followed in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. Bickerstaff
Harry Bickerstaff, 81, of Monaca passed away Friday, Jan. 16, in Sewickley Valley Hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1922 in Rochester, a son of the late William Dennis and Anna Headland Bickerstaff. Following graduation from Rochester High School in 1941, Harry entered the U.S. Navy during World War II and served from 1942 to 1946 as an aviation mechanic aboard various aircraft carriers. Mr. Bickerstaff began his career as an automobile mechanic with the former Sahli Chevrolet in Beaver Falls and later with Miller & Sons Chevrolet in Aliquippa, from where he retired in 1985 following 40 years of service. A skilled craftsman, he had a gift for carpentry and built his home, a boat and numerous pieces of furniture for family and friends. He was a charter and life member of the Beaver Valley Yacht Club for 35 years, having served as dock master and director, and assisted with the weekly fish fries for 20 years. He helped organize the Beaver Valley REACT and served with the Monaca Cub Scouts. Mr. Bickerstaff was a member of the Monaca United Methodist Church since 1955, serving as a member of the board of trustees, the pastor parish and finance committees, and the church CHIPS class. He worked with the youth fellowship basketball and softball teams and bowled for more than 40 years with the church bowling league. Harry supported his nine grandchildren by attending their Monaca football and basketball games and coaching Monaca Little League and Midget football. Surviving are his wife, B. (Trushel) Bickerstaff, who he married on June 20, 1952; and two sons and a daughter, Charles Bickerstaff and his wife, Cheryl, of Morrisville, N.C., Dennis Bickerstaff and his wife, Patti, of Monaca, and Lea Ann Keylon of Ambridge. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one nephew, five nieces and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice (Konvolinka) Bickerstaff; a brother, William Bickerstaff; and two sisters, Irene O'Neill and Goldie Steele. Friends were received in the Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca. A service was held in the Monaca United Methodist Church with his pastor, the Rev. George Dran, officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, Monaca.

Laird
Helen Grace Laird, 88, of Black Log, Pa., formerly of New Sewickley Township and Aliquippa, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, in The Medical Center, Beaver, following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 6, 1915 in Johnstown, Pa., a daughter of the late Albert and Veronica Lake Devlin. Mrs. Laird had been a resident of Outlooke Pointe in Chippewa, for the past four years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. Laird, in 2002'; a daughter, Shirley Green; a grandson, Shawn Laird; two sisters and eight brothers. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Judy Laird of Rochester; three daughters and sons-in-laws, Pat and Lee Waple, Harrisburg, Diane and Sam Benedict of Brighton Township, and Karen and Dennis Seger of Aliquippa; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Abiding by Helen's wishes, there was no public visitation. A funeral services was held in the Martin E. Brown Funeral Home, Ridgely St., Orbisonia, Pa. Private interment followed at the Orbisonia Cemetery. Local arrangements were handled by Noll Funeral Home in Beaver.

Mandish
Edward Mandish, 78, of Monaca died Tuesday, Feb. 3, in The Medical Center, Beaver. He was born in Monaca, a son of the late Michael and Anna (Mahalko) Mandish. Mr. Mandish worked as a group leader at Westinghouse in Vanport and was a member of Monaca Turners and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yolanda, in 1995. Surviving are his children, Rose Ann, Edward (Lee) and Jane Mandish, a brother, Mike Mandish, and two grandchildren. Friends were received in Batchelor Brothers Monaca Funeral Home. Burial was in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.

Reynolds
George E. Reynolds, 73, a loving father, doting grandfather and good friend to many, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 28. He was born in Monaca Heights on Nov. 16, 1930, a son of the late Walter and Viola (Forse) Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Alaska with the Co. G 4th Infantry Division. He was a retiree of the tin mill of LTV Steel Corp's Aliquippa Works, from where he retired in 1994 with 38 years of service. He served as a Boy Scout leader of Troop #434 of Center Township and was a past president of the FOE of Monaca. Mr. Reynolds had a great sense of humor, loved to dance and listen to country-western music, hunt and to spend time at his camp in Tionesta. He attended the Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Center Township. In addition to his parents, he was precededin death by his wife of 40 years, Joann L. Horn Reynolds in 1991; a daughter, Viola Mae Reynolds; two sisters, Sabrina Zebra and Elizabeth Headman; and two brothers, Thomas Morris and Walter Reynolds. Surviving are six children, George Reynolds and his wife, Debra, of Center Township; Esther Chirichetti and her husband, Dino, of Monaca; Trina Kosto and her husband, David, of Center; Wendy Blake and her husband, William, of New Brighton; Mark Reynolds and his wife, Veronica, of Colonial Beach, Va.; and Barbara Schweitzer and her husband, David, of Center. Also surviving are two brothers, Earl Reynolds and his wife, Rose, of Center, and Darius Reynolds and his wife, Vivian, of Wilmington, N.C.; three sisters, Violet Hubert of Freedom, Delores Pelligrini of Wilmington, N.C., and Viola Radovich and her husband, Paul, of Winnabow, N.C.; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a beloved companion, JoAnn Price of Beaver Falls. Friends were received in the Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca, where services were held with the Rev. Steve Vesolich, pastor of the Trinity Evangelical Free Church, officiating. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Monaca. Full military honors were provided by the Beaver County Special Unit at the funeral home. Stripay
Michael Stripay, 88, of Monaca passed away on Jan. 22, in the Serenity Personal Care Home Midland. He was born Nov. 21, 1915 in Monessan, Pa., a son of the late Mike and Anna (Gurison) Stripay. Mr. Stripay was a retiree of LTV Steel Corp's Aliquippa works and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Some of his favorite pastimes were golfing, listening to country music, polka dancing and bowling. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Mary M. Plaskonas Stripay; a son, Edward Stripay and his wife, Irene, of Rochester; a daughter, Janet Sichak and her husband, Robert, of Raccoon; a sister, Corrine Fetkovich and her husband, Andy, of Aliquippa; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kleber and Helen Zampelli, and a brother, Albert Stripay. A private family viewing was held in Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Monaca. Burial took place in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aliquippa.

DiPetro
Fred DiPetro Sr., 79, of West Aliquippa died Jan. 9, 2003 at Aliquippa Community Hospital. He was born in Italy, a son of the late Fiore and Domenica DiPetrantonio. Mr. DiPetro worked at LTV Steel and was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church, St. Joseph worship site. He is survived by a son, Fred DiPetro Jr.; a brother, John DiPetro; and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Wayne N. Tatalovich Funeral Home in Aliquippa. Services were held at the St. Joseph Worship Site in West Aliquippa with the Rev. Jim Bachner officiating. Burial was in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

Kisor
Anne Rose Kisor, 84, of Conway died Jan. 6, 2002 at her home. She was born in Baden, a daughter of the late George and Rose (Kolarovich) Stefanic. Mrs. Kisor was catholic by faith and worked as a finisher at Phoenix Glass in Monaca, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Kisor. Visitation and services were private. Arrangements were handled by Batchelor Brothers Rochester Funeral Home.

Sarah Elizabeth Link, 84, of Monaca, formerly of Midland Heights, was reunited with her husband, William on Saturday, Jan 11, 2003. Born Jan 8, 1919 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late John Herbert and Stella (Stubner) Roberts. Sarah attended Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh. She lived the majority of her life in Midland Heights, later making her home in Lake City, Pa. for 20 years before relocating to Monaca in 1994. A homemaker, Sarah was a great cook and enjoyed quilting. She was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, William E. Link, on Feb 13, 1998; two brothers, John H. and Wayne Roberts. She leaves two sons, Dennis Link of Monaca and Donald Link of Brookville, Pa.; a daughter in law, Elisabeth Link of Chippewa; three grandchildren, two great grandsons; and a sister, Idell Sondecker of Texas. Friends were received at the Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca. Services were held at the Service United Presbyterian Church. Interment followed in John Anderson Memorial Cemetery.
