Bell
Marie S. (Wagner) Bell, 94, a Coraopolis resident for 66 years, died Jan. 23, 1999 in Valley Care Nursing Home in Aleppo Township. She was born March 15, 1904 in McKees Rocks, a daughter of the late Blaise J. and Mary Anne (Ketterer) Wagner. She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Raymond W. Bell Sr.; son Raymond W. Bell Jr.; brothers Louis and Gilbert Wagner and sister Helen Welch. Mrs. Bell was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Coraopolis, the St. Joseph Christian Mothers Association, and a former member of the Navy Mothers Association. Surviving are her children, Charles Bell of Coraopolis, Rose Marie Weber of Moon, Virginia Davies of Coraopolis, William Bell of Coraopolis, Betty Brough of McKees Rocks, Mary Lou Coradi of Coraopolis, James Bell of Hopewell, Barbara Moseberger of Crescent, Jean Kozerovich of Moon, and Daniel Bell of Cranberry; 43 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Interment is in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Bozich
Gloria Cazolli Bozich, 78, a lifetime resident of Coraopolis, died Jan. 17, 1999 at Sewickley Valley Hospital. She was born Jan. 13, 1921 in Washington, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Bozich. Mrs. Bozich was retired from her job as a cashier at Pittsburgh International Airport. She was also a member of St. Joseph Church. Surviving are her children, William J. Pfeiffer of Monaca, Catherine Strickland of Robinson, and Jo Ann Seretti of Moon; her sisters, Agnes Brogan of Pittsburgh and Sophia Tantalo of Connecticut; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Coraopolis. Interment is in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Rev. Lawrence Holpp officiated. Franchek
Melva "Jean" Franchek, 70, a long time resident of Imperial, died Jan. 19, 1999 at her residence. She was born Jan. 13, 1929 in North Fayette Township a daughter of the late Lawrence and Katie Burgoyne Lipscomb. Mrs. Franchek was a homemaker. She was also a member of St. Columbkille Christian Mothers & Guild. Surviving are her husband, Albert "Wilbert" Franchek; children Michael Franchek of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Richard Franchek of Fairbanks, Alaska, Robert Franchek of Oakdale, Jeffrey Franchek of Biloxi, Miss., and Patricia Weber of Georgetown, Pa.; sisters Ruth White of Saverna Park, Md., and Juanita Parry of Imperial, and nine grandchildren.

Hobin
Grace W. Hobin, 79, of Coraopolis, died Jan. 22, 1999, in Sewickley Valley Hospital. She was born June 26, 1919 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Alva and Elsie (Richardson) Waggoner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Hobin. Mrs. Hobin was a life long resident of Coraopolis and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Moon. Surviving are her children, Sandy McCutcheon of Coraopolis and Polly Yost of Linesville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home.

Kaczmarek
William J. Kaczmarek, 75, a long time resident of Robinson, died Jan. 7, 1999 in his home. He was born Jan. 20, 1923 in Neville Island. Mr. Kaczmarek was the former owner of Sam & Al's Bar & Grill in Coraopolis. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis. Mr. Kaczmarek also worked as a stocker for U.S. Airways and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 402 in Coraopolis, L.S.T. #589, and the Neville Island Alumni Association. Surviving are his wife, Helen M. (Kowalewski) Kaczmarek; his children, Bill Kaczmarek of Bethel Park and Karen Krall of Robinson; and two grandchildren. Friends were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Coraopolis. Interment is in Resurrection Cemetery.

McBain
Isabella Bunch McBain, 96, of Mt. Laurel, N.J. and formerly of Coraopolis, died Jan. 26, 1999 at Mt. Holly Center in Lumberton, N.J. She was born in Wishaw, Scotland on Sept. 30, 1902 a daughter of the late Charles and Anne Jane Tyrrell Bunch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander A. McBain and her son, Robert T. McBain. Mrs. McBain lived in Scotland until the age of 18, when she came to the United States. She was a 50-year member of the Coraopolis United Methodist Church. Mrs. McBain also belonged to the Daggs Class and Crafty Ladies and Daughter's of Scotia Lady Gordon Lodge #150, Ambridge. She was a former member of Coraopolis Civic Club and Golden Agers before moving to New Jersey to reside with her daughter. She loved children and cared for many in this area, and to this day they have remained dear friends. Surviving are her daughter, Anne M. Dye; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews in the United States and in Scotland. Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Santucci
Anna Kachnych Santucci, 86, a lifetime resident of Moon Township, died Jan. 23, 1999 at Atrium I. She was born Nov. 4, 1912 in McKees Rocks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Santucci, and by a sister, Fay Bramwell. Mrs. Santucci was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis. Surviving are her son, Anthony Santucci of Moon; a sister, Mary O'Hara of McKees Rocks;w her brother, John Kachnych; and a niece and a nephew. Friends were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Coraopolis. Interment is in Resurrection Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy Dawes officiated.

Valenty
Lena Tripoli Valenty, 97, a 50-year resident of Moon, died Jan. 15, 1999 in Beaver County. She was born March 19, 1901 in France. Mrs. Valenty was preceded in death by her husband, James Valenty and her son, Berlin Valenty. Mrs. Valenty was retired from her career as a cook. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. She also belonged to St. Joseph Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Surviving are her daughter, Josephine Roncone of Moon; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Coraopolis. Interment is in Resurrection Cemetery. The Rev. Lawrence Holpp officiated.

Weber
Violet Toperine Weber, 83, of McKees Rocks, died Jan. 26, 1999 in Mercy Hospital. She was born June 18, 1915 in McKees Rocks. Mrs. Weber was a life long resident of McKees Rocks. A homemaker, she was also a member of Mother of Sorrow's Church. Surviving are her husband, Charles Weber; her children, Betty Jane Ackerman of Pittsburgh and Charles Weber of McKees Rocks; her brother, Alfred Toperine of McKees Rocks; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Stowe Township. Interment is in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Adduci
Frank H. Adduci, 46, of Stowe Township died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000 in Monaca. He was born Nov. 26, 1953 in Kennedy Township. Mr. Adduci worked as a laborer for Allegheny County and was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church. Surviving are his brothers, Anthony and Ronald, both of Stowe. Funeral arrangements were provided by Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Stowe, where services were held. Interment is in St. Mary Cemetery.

Brookley
Frank N. Brookley, Jr., 43, of Robinson Township died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Highland Park. He was born Aug. 10, 1956 in Pittsburgh, a son of Frank N. Brookley and the late Ruth Jean Brookley. Mr. Brookley worked as a carpenter for 12 years with the Carpenters Union Local 1357. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with family and friends in activities such as fishing. Mr. Brookley was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS J.F.K. Surviving in addition to his father are brother Dale Brookley of Robinson, sister Janet Benzinger of Kennedy; a nephew and two nieces. Friends were received at Joseph M. Somma Funeral Home, where services were held. The Rev. William Colongelo officiated. Interment is in Holy Souls Cemetery.

Drish
Betty "Boots" Drish, 46, of Neville Island died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000 at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1943 in Sewickley, a daughter of Lillian Fingal Schmuck and the late William Schmuck. Mrs. Drish was a cashier for the 79 Deli on Neville Island. She also was a member of the VFW Post 402 ladies auxiliary. Surviving in addition to her mother are her beloved husband, Charles W. Drish III; daughters Tammy (Hall) Luster of Glenfield and Christine Hall of Neville Island; step children Dana Songer of Edinboro and Wayne Drish of Economy; sister Sarah Janosik of Colorado; brothers William Schmuck of Chippewa, Wayne Schmuck of Cranberry and Stanley Schmuck of Imperial; and three grandchildren. Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home, where services were held. The Rev. William Hower officiated. Franklin
Janet White Franklin, 56, a life long resident of Coraopolis, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born July 23, 1943 in Sewickley, a daughter of Jessie White Edison and the late Chester I. White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin. Mrs. Franklin was a member of the Second Baptist Church in McKees Rocks, and served as a nurse for the congregation. Surviving in addition to her mother is her sister, Carol White Mohamed of Mount Washington. Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Services were held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michale Murray officiating. Interment is in Coraopolis Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Kidney Foundation.

Frelke
Mary Louise (Regotti) Frelke, 93, a Coraopolis resident for 70 years, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000, at Sewickley Valley Hospital. She was born April 15, 1906, in Westmoreland and was preceded in death by her husband, John Frelke; daughter Carmella Fabec and a sister, Josephine Boni. Mrs. Frelke was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis. Surviving are a sister, Rose Donovan; three grandchildren, Jerry Fabec, Marsha Stasik and Jackie Coleman; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home in Coraopolis, where services were held. The Rev. Hal Bailey officiated. Interment is in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Gonze
Blanche J. Gonze, 75, of Kennedy Township died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000 at Ohio Valley General Hospital. She was born Feb. 8, 1924 in Cuddy, Pa., a daughter of the late Eli and Regina Chabassol. Mrs. Gonze was a 61-year member of the McDonald VFW Post 567 Ladies Auxiliary. Her family said that she will be most remembered for how she loved spending time talking with family and friends. She was a member of the Coraopolis United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Charles D. Gonze; children Douglas C. Gonze of Holland, Pa., Patricia J. Morrow of Eighty Four, Pa., and Vicki Lynn Rovers of Hobert, N.C.; brother Eli Chabassol of Bridgeville; sister Jean Dispenza of Bridgeville, and one grandchild. Friends were received at Joseph M. Somma Funeral Home. Services were held at the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Sterling officiating. Interment is in Robinson Run Cemetery.

Kosko
Harry J. Kosko Jr., 65, a life long resident of Coraopolis, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at the V.A. Hospital in Aspinwall. He was born June 23, 1934 in Sewickley. Mr. Kosko was a maintenance worker for Pittsburgh- Des Moines and a member of St. Joseph Church. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his children, Michael, Thomas, Jeffrey and Diane Tucker, all of North Carolina; sisters Julia Butteri of Pittsburgh and Donna Naylor of Florida; and 10 grandchildren. Friends were received at Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home. Services were held at St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Lawrence Holpp officiating.

Lydon
Eleanor Lydon, 49, of Robinson Township died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000 at Sewickley Valley Hospital. She was born May 26, 1950 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Norman and Mary Sandow. Mrs. Lydon graduated from Point Park College with a degree in journalism. She was first employed by Ingersoll-Rand, and then went on to work in the office of Dr. Elizabeth Skibinski-Bortman. Surviving are her husband, Vance L. Lydon; daughter Cassandra M. Lydon of Robinson; aunt Laverna Young Bakori of Finleyville, with whom she resided from an early age; two other aunts, sister Marta Andrulonis of Baldwin, and a nephew. Friends were received at Joseph M. Somma Funeral Home, where services were held. The Rev. Edward Peters of Providence Presbyterian Church officiated. Interment is in Finleyville, Pa. Mueller
Ruth Sposky Mueller, 84, a life long resident of Coraopolis, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at her residence. She was born March 15, 1915 in Carnegie, a daughter of the late Casimir and Mary (Glerdiesz) Szpakowski. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred E. Mueller, her daughter, Judith Winkle, and brother Walter Sposky. Mrs. Mueller was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Christian Mothers organization. Surviving are her sons, Alfred J. Mueller of Cresson and Richard J. Mueller of Economy; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Services were held at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Lawrence Holpp officiating. Interment is in St. Joseph Church.

Race
Charles Wesley Race, 71, a Coraopolis resident most of his life, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at his residence. He was born Nov. 1, 1928 in Adrian, W.Va., a son of the late Charles W. and Goldie Bell (Jones) Race. Mr. Race was formerly employed by Pittsburgh Screw and Bolt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Germany. Surviving are his sister, Katherine Napsha of Coraopolis; niece and nephew Cheryl and Joseph Napsha; and two great nephews. Funeral arrangements were provided by Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Services were private.

Sedlock
John D. Sedlock, 66, a life long resident of Moon Township, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000 at Mercy Hospital. He was born born May 11, 1933 in Groveton, a son of Alice (Semerod) Sedlock of Lakeland, Fla. and the late John Sedlock. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul. Mr. Sedlock was a retired salesperson. He was a member of the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, an avid golfer, former member of the F&AM Lodge 634, as well as the Syria Temple. Mr. Sedlock also served in the U.S. Air Force. Surviving in addition to his mother are his loving wife, Vivian (Spangler) Sedlock; children Sharon Ross of Coraopolis, J. Dennis Sedlock of Hopewell, and Kelley Macek of N. Fayette Township; sister Betty Bruni of Lakeland; and seven grandchildren. Friends were received at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home. Services were held at the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Sterling officiating.

Weathers
Wythe Brevard "Stormy" Weathers, 82, of Pinehurst, N.C., and formerly of Sewickley, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 at Manor Care in Pinehurst. Mr. Weathers was born in Shelby, N.C. a son of the late Julious and Sarah (Hill) Weathers. Surviving are his wife, Ellen (Bolli) Weathers, son Howard Marshall of Houston, Tex., daughters Cheryl McPherson of Newport, Pa., and Daryl Schalhoub of El Paso, Tex. Funeral arrangements were provided by Copeland's Sewickley-Irvine Chapel. Interment is in Sewickley. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
