Violet K. Hutchinson
Death date: October 28, 2001 Violet K. Hutchinson, age 96 of Ross Township, formerly of New Brighton on Sunday, October 28, 2001 in Windsor Place. She was born on March 25, 1905, the daughter of the late William F. and Cornelia M. (Kleppner) Lintner. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank H. Kohne and Alfred H. Hutchinson, and a brother, John C. Lintner. Mrs. Hutchinson is survived by three children, Wilma R. Murphy of Connecticut, Mabel Marie Hull of Bradford, PA and Frank H. Kohne, Jr. of Ross Township. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. There will be no viewing; friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2001 at Schellhaas Funeral Home Inc, 388 Center Avenue in West View. The service will follow the morning visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Mark Montgomery officiating. Interment in Verona cemetery in Oakmont, PA. Violet was a lifelong member of Winona Chapter O.E.S., Childrens Aid Society of Beaver County, Sisters of the Skillet, Lighthouse Auxiliary and the Presbyterian Church of New Brighton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Violet's name to a charity of your choice.

Jane M. Gardner, age 80, of Beaver formerly of Gibsonia died on Monday, October 29, 2001. Born in Pittsburgh on June 22, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Frank & Helen Cunningham. Beloved wife of the late Ralph H. Gardner who died in 1993. Dear Mother of: Kathleen A. Brown of Squirrel Hill and Raymond R. Gardner of Beaver, PA. Loving Grandmother of two grandsons, two granddaughters and one great grand child. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters Friends received Wednesday 10:00 a.m until time of service at 12 noon in the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME Ltd. 5864 Heckert Road Bakerstown. Pastor Steve Maker of Chapel Presbyterian Church in Beaver will officiate. Interment in Dorseyville Cemetery. Mrs. Gardner was a Member of United Church of Christ of Dorseyville and an avid golfer and card player In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.

Dorothy M. (Austen) Collier, age 89, of Richland Twp., Gibsonia, on Tuesday October 23, 2001. Born on February 15, 1912 in Gibsonia she was the daughter of the late Clyde S. and Alta (Miller) Austen. Beloved wife of the late D. LeRoy Collier and dear sister of Donald C. Austen of Richland Twp. Gibsonia. Dearly loved by many relatives and friends. Friends received Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, LTD. Bakerstown where the service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday. Rev. Dr. Darcy Hawk will officiate. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Collier was a member of the Gibsonia Presbyterian Church, the O.E.S. Stella E. Leindecker
Stella E. Leindecker, age 78 of West View, on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 in Windsor Place. She was born in Pittsburgh on June 4, 1924, the daughter of the late Carl and Clara (Kuehn) Finkbeiner. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Leindecker was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. Leindecker, Jr.; two sisters, Anna and Dorothy and one brother, Otto. Mrs. Leindecker is survived by one brother, Carl Finkbeiner, Jr. of Brookline. Also, many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue in West View, a "Pursuit of Excellence" Award Firm, where services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Lisa A. Ubbelohde will officiate the service at the funeral home. Interment in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Mrs. Leindecker worked at William G. Johnston Printing Company for over 40 years as a Binderer. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church as well as a member of Binding Local Union #24.

Helen Q. Fusca, age 86, of West Lake, Ohio formerly of Bakerstown died on Monday, June 3, 2002. Born on January 30, 1915 in Bakerstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Alma (Schott) Poff. Dear mother of Debra and her husband Bob Lyons of West Lake, Ohio. Also four grandchildren, John & Kenneth Fusca both of CA., and Melissa & Bethany Lyons both of Ohio. Also 1 great grandson James Fusca of CA In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Fusca in 1980, two children, Dick and Joyce Fusca and two sisters, Elsie Fritz and Eula Poff. William "Frank" Skelton, Jr., age 52 of Mt. Troy, after a courageous and valiant fight with lung cancer on Monday, March 10, 2003. Born on February 1, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Beloved husband for 31 years of Debbie (Jockel) Skelton. Father of Kelli (Scott) Stalter of McCandless, Heidi and Molli Skelton both of Reserve Twp. Son of Louise (Lucas) Skelton of Pittsburgh and the late William F. Skelton, Sr. Brother of Donna (Frank) Lewis of Cranberry Twp., Debbie (John) Griffin of Ross Twp., and Mark (Jane) Skelton of Aliquippa. Mr. Skelton worked for Union Railroad for 33 years as a supervisor. Philip E. "Bud" Schwab
Philip E. "Bud" Schwab, Sr., on Saturday, February 15, 2003, age 77, of West View. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 12, 1925 the son of the late Peter J. Schwab. Before his retirement he worked as a custodian for the North Hills School District. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the West View V.F.W. Post #2754. Philip is the loving father of Laverne Schwab of Fort Meyers, Florida, Philip E. "Bud" Schwab of Ross Township and Edward C. Schwab of Freedom. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends MONDAY 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Schellhaas Funeral Home Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View, a "Pursuit of Excellence" award firm Blessing service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Father John Forbudiffi officiating. Born on October 2, 1906 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. & Nora J. (Bulford) Rothfuss. Beloved wife of the late William H. Schneider Sr. Also preceded in death by one step-son, William H. Schneider Jr., four sisters, and one brother. Dear Mother of David J. and his wife Teri Schneider of Ross Twp. and Ralph P. Schneider of Shaler Twp. Also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Margaret "Peg" E. Donaldson Irwin, age 80, of Middlesex Township, on Wednesday January 1, 2003 in the Concordia Lutheran Home. Born September 12, 1921 in Pittsburgh Pa the beloved daughter of the late James and Anna Graham Donaldson. Preceded in death by her loving husband John M. Irwin to whom she was married for 61 years before his death in 1998 and her daughter Peggy Ann Towzey; one sister Agnes and 4 brothers Robert, William, Francis and James Donaldson. Survivors include her daughter Pamela I. Carlini of Middlesex Township, Grandchildren Anna Hildebrand of Sarver, Dawn Carlini of Middlesex Twp, Pamela Black of MI and Matt Towzey of FL and 8 Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd. 5864 Heckert Road Bakerstown, Richland Township on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Theodore Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Glade Run Cemetery. Edmund "Gitch" Jackson
Edmond G. "Gitch" Jackson, age 69, of Ross Township, on Monday, February 3, 2003 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 20, 1933 the son of the late James and Margaret (O'Rourke) Jackson. In addition to his parents, Edmond is preceded in death by his sister Margaret Kurtz and a brother, James Jackson. Mr. Jackson worked for Conrail and the Pennsylvania Railroad for over 35 years where he was a block operator. Edmond is the beloved husband of Dolores (Wysocki) Jackson; father of Deborah Jackson of Pittsburgh, Diana Scullion and her husband Bob of Ross Township, Ed Jackson and his wife Cindy of West View, Denise Haberman and her husband Kevin of West View and Eric Jackson and his wife Tracy of Shaler Township; grandfather of Bobby, Bradley, Greg, Jessica, Pamela and David; brother of William Jackson.
