Helen E. (Sieman) White, age 88, of McCandless Township, on Wednesday, October 8, 2003. Born on May 3, 1915, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Albert and Elsie (Brotherly) Sieman. Beloved wife of the late Stanley A. White. Mother of Rick S. (Pat) White of Pittsburgh and Marilyn (Robert) LeDonne of Wexford; Sister of Edna Linder of Pittsburgh, Ethel Ebner of Pittsburgh and Dorothy Johanson of Virginia; also grandmother of Gina and Amy White of Ohio and Megan and Sarah LeDonne of Wexford. Helen was a member of St. Luke's Leisure Years, 75 year member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, and previously volunteered at UPMC Passavant Hospital for many years. Friends received Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, 388 Center Avenue, West View. Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 12:00 Noon in St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 305 Center Ave., West View. Interment in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa on May 1, 1934, son of the late Edmund F. and Anna Mae Metzger Schnepp. Beloved husband for 51 years of Patricia M. (Kolling), loving father of Cynthia (Charles) Heshler of Hampton, Edmund F. Schnepp III of Ross and John M. (Jodi) Schnepp of Reserve; brother of Dolores McConomy of the North Side. grandfather of Jeffrey, Brian and Amanda Heshler, Alexis and Courtney Schnepp; also great-grandfather of Booth, Beck, Blaise and Alexei Heshler. Mr. Schnepp was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of Roofers Local #37, and an Avid Fisherman. William E. Kurtz
William E. Kurtz, age 85 of West View, on Sunday, October 5, 2003 in Wexford House, McCandless Township. Born in Nixon, PA on January 23, 1918, son of the late William and Blanche (Bulford) Kurtz. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kurtz was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Zavasky. Survived by his wife, Alice (Komora) Kurtz of West View; two daughters, Carolyn (Paul) Long of Wilkinsburg and Lois (Robert) Carney of Ontario Canada; Son-in-Law, Ronald Zavasky of Wexford and four grandchildren, Ronald & Derick Zavasky and Steve & Deryl Carney. Friends received Tuesday & Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue in West View where services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kurtz was employed as a welder with U.S. Steel and he was a member of Ridgewood Assembly of God Church.

Rose Angela (Eisinger) Beale, age 77, of Richland Township, on Monday August 11, 2003 at the St. Barnabas Nursing Home. Born March 11, 1926 in New York City the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Kozo Eisinger. In addition to her parents Rose is preceded in death by one daughter Christine E. Beale. Surviving are her beloved husband of 56 years Robert E. Beale, Sr. four loving children Robert E. (Beth) Beale, Jr. of Maryland, Vicki (Dave) Yon of Butler, George (Chris) Beale of Arizona and Patty (Wade) Krick of Gibsonia; also survived by 8 grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 7-9 at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd. 5864 Heckert Road Bakerstown, Richland Township. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ted Martin of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, officiating. Mrs. Beale was a retired Real Estate Broker for McLaughlin Real Estate and a life long member and past president of the Richland Civic Club.

Born on June 22, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Wilbert G. & Olivia (Grieneisen) Huber Sr. Bill worked as a welder for the PA Turnpike for 38 years and was a US Navy Veteran. Beloved husband for 38 years of Rosann (Readal) Huber. Dear father of Wilbert (Bill) G. Huber III of Evans City. Brother of Shirley Morrison and Beverly Cox both of Allison Park. Born in Pittsburgh on January 22, 1916, she is the daughter of the late Frederick and Jennie (Rhodes) Schneider. Mother of Jennie L. Dungan of North Side; grandmother of Jennie, John, Jonique and Jennae; great grandmother of Alyssa and Giovonni. Extended family include Suellen and her children, Steven, Jordan, Jake and the late Robert. Beloved aunt of the late Robert "Bummy" Schneider. Also survived by 5 generations of nieces and nephews. Helen was a retired employee of H.J. Heinz Company of the North Side after 48 years of faithful service. Virginia A. (Oldham) Billock, age 88 of Avalon, formerly of Troy Hill and Mt. Troy on Friday, January 3, 2003 at Vincentian Home in McCandless Township. Born in Pittsburgh on May 24, 1914, daughter of the late Frank P. and Bertha (Hosenfeld) Oldham. Wife of the late John J. Billock, loving Sister of Clara O. Brady, Sister-in-Law of the late Warren Brady and Niece of the late Isabel Hosenfeld. Virginia was a graduate of Allegheny High School where she was a pianist in the school orchestra. She was the first female to play the clarinet in an all-male band. Upon graduation from the University of Pittsburgh in 1935, Virginia began her teaching career at Millvale High School. She was active in many service organizations and volunteered at Bellevue Suburban Hospital. Virginia was a member of Assumption Church in Bellevue. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Aloysius Church, Reserve Township, where the remaining family attends. Esther G. (Wittmer) Morris, age 78 of Butler, formerly of Richland Twp., Gibsonia, on Sunday, January 12, 2003 in her home under the care of her loving family and VNA Hospice. Born in Pittsburgh on July 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George & Mary (Fuhrer) Wittmer. Mrs. Morris was raised by the late James & Caroline (Wittmer) Ferguson. In addition to her parents and guardians, she was preceded in death by one sister, the late Georgina (Ferguson) Greene, and four brothers, the late William Wittmer, George Wittmer, Kenneth Ferguson and Wittmer Ferguson. Beloved wife for 59 years of Robert J. Morris Jr. Dear mother of Robert J. (Linda) Morris III of Butler, Renetta (Dave) Winkler of Butler, Kathy (Richard 'Doc') McKissick of Butler, Heidi Morris (John Schlotter) of Butler, and Chris Morris (Fred Langer) of Seattle.
