Born on November 3, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Frank & Catherine (Felitsky) Urbanic. Beloved husband for 53 years of Mildred M. (Pipich) Urbanic. Dear father of David Urbanic of St. Thomas, James Urbanic of Ellwood City, PA and Susan Urbanic of State College, PA. Brother of Ralph Urbanic of Richland Twp., Gibsonia. Grandfather of David, Leah, and Megan Urbanic and Jeffrey Weatherford. Services and interment were held at the convience of the family. Mr. Urbanic was a retired inspector for Minnotte Manufacturing, a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and a Corporal for the US Army during WWII. Glenn C. Harbison
Glenn C. Harbison, 91 of Pine Twp., died Saturday, March 30, 2002 in Pine Twp. Born March 12, 1911 in Bakerstown, he was the son of the late George L. Harbison and the late Clara Ferguson. He worked as a Manager for Sears. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown and Butler Area Flying Society. Friends will be received at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, PA, from Tuesday 7-9. Services will be held at the Schellhaas Funeral Home Ltd, Wednesday, Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
Chuck J. Weigand
Charles "Chuck" J. Weigand, 58 of West View on Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at his residence. Born April 22, 1944 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Cyril S. and Eleanor J. (Baumgartner) Weigand. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a Brother, Cliff Weigand and a Sister, Lois Nalepa. Mr. Weigand was a Volunteer for the Housing Industry. Surviving are a Brother, Norman Weigand of Allison Park and four Sisters, Joan Muchow of Sewickley, Sr. Norma Weigand of Perrysville, Carol Schubert of West View and Sr. Kathy Weigand of Martin, KY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Edward Paul Slomka, age 64, of Merritt Island, FL formerly of Gibsonia died on Saturday, May 11, 2002, Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 10, 1937, he was the son of the late Edward P. & Ann (Seamon) Slomka. Dear father of Capt. James E. and his wife, Kristen Pasquinelli Slomka of West Point, NY and Edward Paul Slomka of Merritt Island, FL. Brother of Sandy Diegelman of PA. Also one grandchild, Connor J. He was currently working for Lockheade-Martin in pilot training and was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a graduate of Ambry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Hilda K. Schultheis, age 97, of West View, died on Monday, May 20, 2002. Born on June 15, 1904 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. & Bertha (Heimert) Kallenberger. Beloved wife of the late Edwin H. Schultheis. Mother of the late Lois Stephens. Grandmother of Michael Stephens of Warren, Ohio and Donald Stephens of Sterling, VA. In addition to her husband, daughter and parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Charlotte Kallenberger and Esther K. Patrias and two brothers Herbert J. & Robert H. Kallenberger. Funeral Service on Friday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in United Cemetery. Mrs. Schultheis was a member of the St. Luke Memorial Lutheran Church, the Leisure Group of her church and A.A.R.P. West View #2211. She was retired as a secretary/stenographer for Insurance Companies.

Born in Germany on May 20, 1901, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Nairz) Baur. Wife of the late Charles Shantz and Albert Draeger. Mother of Erna J. Toski and her husband, Chester of Reserve Township and Albert Draeger and his wife, Rose of Fombell, PA; Step Mother of Virginia Held of South Park and Nancy Brooks of Emsworth. Sister of the late Justina Braun. Grandmother of Edwin (Joyce) and Michael (Elva) Erb, Cynthia (Jeff) Slebrich, Sandra (Robert) Beckert, Mary (Richard) Schultz, Albert (Karen) Draeger, Richard (Dana) and Ronald (Linda) Brooks, Virginia (Mark) Repine and David and Keith Zorn. Also survived by 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Surviving are her Husband, William H.Vogel of Ross Township; a Daughter, Heather L. Kendall of Irwin; two Sons, David W. and Scott F.Vogel, both of Penn Hills; a Brother, Charles F. Zaugg, Jr. Bethel Park and a Sister, Cheryl M.Graziano of Finleyville. Also survived by two grandsons, Brandon and Ian Kendall. Wagner and the late Margaret Walsh. Surviving are Son, Edwin W. Marciniak of Pensacola, FL. Son, Robert J. Marciniak of Cherry Hill, NJ. Daughter, Jeanne Bick of West View. Sister, Mildred DeSimone of New Kensington 14 Grandchildren and Many Great-Grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her Late husband Edwin V. Marciniak, one daughter Judith A. Cunningham, three sisters Mabel, Helen and Grace and one brother Frederick.. Born on August 21, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late William Henry & Estella Blanche (Lowrie) Robson, Jr. Beloved husband for 36 years of Elizabeth (Cain) Robson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great & great great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
