ESPYVILLE - Patricia McGrath Buttice, 40, of State Highway 285, Espyville, died Monday, July 9, 2001, at Meadville Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in Meadville Aug. 15, 1960, a daughter of Robert and Evelyn Harris McGrath of Conneautville. She married Joe Buttice June 13, 1986. She attended North Shenango Presbyterian Church, Espyville, and was a homemaker and mother.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 15 years, include her parents; a daughter, Sara Buttice at home; a brother, Randy McGrath and his wife, Jessie, of Conneaut Lake; two grandmothers, Burnice McGrath of Linesville and Mabel Harris of Conneautville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Joe Buttice.

Anna L. Fiely
TITUSVILLE - Anna L. Fiely, 88, formerly of Central Towers and Southwoods Assisted Living Community, Titusville, died Monday, July 9, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare, Titusville, where she had been a resident since Dec. 13, 2000. She had resided at Gresham for most of her life. Born at East Titusville June 18, 1913, she was a daughter of Jacob A. and Olive Strawbridge Lamenskie. She married George William Fiely April 7, 1937, at St. Titus Rectory. He preceded her in death. A 1931 graduate of St. Titus High School, she was employed by the Joseph E. Fleming family in Titusville for seven years. She was a life member of St. Titus Church and an honorary member of its altar and rosary society. A former member of Chapmanville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and Friendly Neighbors of Central Towers, and a former board member of Titusville Associated Charities, she was also a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Titusville Chapter 2511.
Survivors include three sons, James Fiely and his wife, Maxine, of Townville, Robert Fiely and his wife, Patti, of Williamsville, N.Y., and William Fiely and his wife, Linda, of Franklin; a daughter, Margaret Fiely of Titusville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, John W. Lamenskie of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Joseph J. Lamenskie of Titusville; two sisters, Margaret E. Lamenskie of Titusville, and Addie Butcher of Parma, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant grandson; and three brothers, James B. Lamenskie, Robert A. Lamenskie and an infant brother.
Calling hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville. The rosary will be recited Thursday at 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home, and a vigil service will be conducted Thursday at 8:45 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Sister Mary Edith, pastoral assistant, officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Titus Church, with the Rev. John Detisch as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.

Ronald A. Cole Sr.
TITUSVILLE - Ronald A. Cole Sr., 67, of 701 S. Perry St., Titusville, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Titusville Area Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Rocky Grove June 28, 1934, he was a son of Louis and Mary Knoch Cole. He married Audrey Chamberlain Nov. 16, 1956 in Franklin. He was a 1952 graduate of Rocky Grove High School. Following his graduation, he served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. In 1970, he was elected Titusville district magistrate, and served as magistrate until his retirement in August 1995 because of ill health. During his office, he attended Pennsylvania State University and Wilson College in Chambersburg to further his education as district magistrate.
He was formerly employed by Loblaws and as a part-time policeman in Titusville. He served as state dog law enforcement officer for more than three years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Titusville, where he served as usher and deacon. He was a former member of Titusville Lions Club and the Elks Lodge 264. He was a member of Titusville Masonic Lodge 754; Oil City Lodge of Perfection; New Castle Consistory, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; Zem Zem Shrine in Erie; and Colonel Drake Shrine Club. He was a member of the Special Court Judges Association of Pennsylvania. He was also a member of Cleo J. Ross American Legion Post 368 and Bruce Shorts Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5958. He enjoyed hunting and golf.
Survivors, in addition to his wife 44 years, include a son, Ronald A. Cole Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Titusville; a daughter, Karen Bickel and her husband, Andy, of Titusville; five grandchildren, Jeremy Gray, Elisha Bickel, and Jenna, Kristin and Adam Cole; a great-grandson; a brother, Robert Cole of Seneca; a sister, Virginia Kline of Rocky Grove; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori A. Cole, on June 30, 1983.
The funeral is today at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 216 N. Franklin St., Titusville, with the Rev. Barry E. Cressman officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mary M. Cavanagh
JANESVILLE, Wis.- Mary M. Cavanagh, 90, formerly of 1601 N. Randall Ave., Janesville, Wis., died Friday, June 29, 2001, at Rock Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Pittsburgh Dec. 19, 1910, a daughter of Adam and Magdeline Wasel Platt. She married Charles Phillip Cavanagh Jan. 1, 1934, in Maryland. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1974, in Meadville. She moved to Janesville from Meadville Jan. 1, 1996. She was devoted to God and her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Davenport and her husband, Donald, of Janesville; a son, Charles Cavanagh and his wife, Beverly, of Hughesville; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Carlson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gale Veater and her husband, Martin, of St. Simon’s Island, Ga.; and a brother, David Platt and his wife, Mary Grace, of Longwood, Fla. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Platt; and a sister, Eva Gregart.
Private services were in Janesville. The graveside service will be in Meadville Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, with Monsignor Richard Butryn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hansen Funeral Home, 211 S. Main St., Janesville.
Virginia P. Graden
Virginia P. Graden, 90, of 477 Center Lane East, Meadville, died Monday, July 9, 2001, at home. Born in Erie July 16, 1910, she was a daughter of Frank and Leona Hank Pletz. She attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and was a 1928 graduate of Villa Maria High School. She retired from GTE, formerly Bell Telephone, in Erie, after 42 years. She previously was employed by the former Lawrence Hotel in Erie. She lived in Erie her entire life until moving to Meadville in 1991. While living in Erie, she was a member of St. Peter’s Cathedral and did volunteer work in its rectory and office. When she lived in Meadville, she attended St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church. A member of CGA (Catholic Golden Ages), she enjoyed reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Marie Rosado and her husband, Wilfredo, of Erie; six grandchildren, Debra A. Burger, Carol L. Lowing, Kathy L. Kightlinger, Paula J. Logsdon, Michael P. Ramey and Maria E. Rosado; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Leona C. Mitchell; and two brothers, Wilfred and Herbert Pletz.

Martha LeNora Knauf Donner
GREENVILLE - Martha LeNora Knauf Donner, 82, of 339 E. Jamestown Road, Greenville, formerly of Jamestown, died Friday, March 30, 2001, at St. Paul Homes, Greenville.
She was born in Otter Creek Township, Mercer County, Oct. 30, 1918, a daughter of Frederick Edward and Florence LeNora Campbell Knauf.
She married Harold W. Donner April 19, 1938.
A homemaker, she also worked at one time for Woolworth's of Greenville, Rosen's Home Dairy of Jamestown and Jamestown Dairy Isle.
She was a member of Zion's Reformed Church-United Church of Christ of Greenville.
She was also a member of Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary since 1956. She held many offices there and was know for the dinners and wedding receptions she planned and served at the fire hall, as well as at fair time. She was a past member and officer of Jamestown Fair Association. During that time, she compiled information for the fair book from 1973 to 1995.
She was a 63-year member of Friendship Grange; past member and officer of Jamestown Senior Citizens Center; past member of Rebekah Lodge of Greenville; past member of Mercer County Fireman's Auxiliary; past member of Northwestern Pennsylvania Fireman's Auxiliary; and past chairman of Green Township American Cancer Society, with 16 years of service.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 62 years, include a son, Larry Donner and his wife, Phyllis, of Greenville; two daughters, Janet Graham and her husband, Robert, of Greenville, and Jo Ann Goodlin and her husband, Thomas, of Jamestown; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two half brothers, Merle Knauf of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Emerson Knauf of Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Elizabeth Knauf, who raised her after her mother's death; a stepbrother, Alvie Chess; and three half-brothers, Fred E. and Bob A. Knauf, and Rex E. Knauff Jr.

Lucile M. Kean
Lucile M. Kean, 69, of 5190 Atlantic Lake Road, Hartstown, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in South Shenango Township Nov. 25, 1931, she was a daughter of Joseph W. and Cora Carlson Simmons. She married Daniel J. Kean June 3, 1951, and he preceded her in death.
She graduated from the former Pymatuning Joint High School.
She was a member of East Fallowfield United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and worked with United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women Association.
She was formerly the elected jury commissioner of Crawford County. She was active in the Crawford County Democratic Women Federation, serving as president and secretary, and was named Democratic woman of the year. She was a member of the Democratic Executive Committee and was East Fallowfield Democratic committeewoman. She had served as East Fallowfield Township secretary and was a member of the Golden Rule Rebekah Lodge 198. At Rebekah Lodge she was named noble grand and held several other offices.
She was a member of the Hartstown Grange and co-chairperson of the County Food Program. She was a volunteer at Greenville Hospital Hospitality Shop and a member of Crawford County Senior Citizens.
Her hobbies included crocheting, singing, bird watching, bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and hosting family get-togethers.
Survivors include four sons, Capt. (U.S. Air Force ret.) Phillip A. Kean and his wife, Bernice, of Niceville, Fla., Daniel R.J. Kean and his wife, Debra, of Atlantic, Kevin L.V. Kean and his companion, Donna Selnekovic of Hartstown, and Christopher A. Kean and his wife, Donna, of Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Valerie A. Staab and her husband, Thomas, of Espyville; a foster son, George A. Smith; 12 grandchildren, James, Joseph, Danielle, Kristy, John, Ashley, Kyle, Rachelle, Cameron and Chase Kean, and Samantha and Casey Staab; a brother, Robert D. Simmons of Greenville; and a sister-in-law, Lillis A. Gaw and her husband, Gene.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Simmons and baby brother Simmons; and a sister, Joan Grinnell.

Lillian V. Stein, 88, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Ansonville Feb. 22, 1913, a daughter of Carl and Josephine Tulen Palmquist.
She worked in the assembly department of Talon Inc. and retired in 1966 after 34 years of service.
She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, the Gallivanters and the senior citizens group.
Survivors include a sister, Ellen Pangborn of Delmar, N.Y.; a brother, John Palmquist of Jamestown, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Adolph, Emil, Robert, Oscar, Elmer and Charles Palmquist; three sisters, Florence Thurston, Violet Peterson and Selma Dahlquist; and a special friend, Paul Merchbaker.

Wilda Lorraine Zessinger
EDINBORO - Wilda Lorraine Zessinger, 76, of 114 W. Normal St., Edinboro, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Edinboro Manor.
Born in Venango Township, Cambridge Springs, Nov. 17, 1924, she was a daughter of Monroe W. and Florence W. Lewis Shrader. She married Edward Zessinger, who preceded her in death in 1986.
She attended Erie Commercial College. She worked for American Greeting Cards Co. for six years. Previously, she worked as a receptionist for Dr. Tom R. Miller and Dr. Robert Halmi.
She attended First United Presbyterian Church of Edinboro where she served as a deacon and sang in the choir.
She was an avid bowler in the Wednesday night league.
Survivors include her mother; two daughters, Lorraine Hays and her husband, Gary, of Edinboro, and Karen Carey and her husband, James, of Martinsville, Ind.; four grandchildren, Amanda and Zachary Carey, Stacey Hayes and Eddie Zessinger; four step-grandchildren, Scott, Rochelle, Darin and Duane; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Elnora Hanson and her husband, Lee, of Edinboro; and many nieces and nephews.

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. - Harry W. Collom, 85, of Spring Valley Lake, Calif., died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at Desert Valley Hospital of heart complications.
He was born in Meadville Nov. 30, 1915, a son of Guy and Ethel Collom, longtime residents of Meadville. He married Betty Farnham April 25, 1942.
When he lived in Meadville he worked at the former Railway Express.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Victorville, Calif.
Survivors, in addition to his loving wife of 58 years, include two sons, Chris Collom and his wife, Linda, of Adelanto, Calif., and Rodger Collom and his wife, Donna, of Worthington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Laurie Ericson, Karen Collom, Zachariah Collom, Wescott Collom and Brian Collom; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William; and two sisters, Virginia and Patricia.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday at Rose Hills Memorial Cemetery, Whittier, Calif., with the Revs. John Valentine and Julie Britch officiating.
Benita Love Rice
EDINBORO - Benita Love Rice, 97, of 419 Waterford St., Edinboro, and formerly of Springboro, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Edinboro Manor.
She was born in Slippery Rock March 23, 1904, a daughter of Clifford and Susan Mehaffie McDowell. She married Harold (Dan) H. Rice, who preceded her in death in 1966.
She had worked as a secretary/bookkeeper at Rice's Garage of Springboro.
She was affiliated with United Church of Springboro.
Survivors include a daughter, Theda Erb of Linesville; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Horton McDowell Rice; a daughter, Clifford Ada Drury; two grandchildren; and three brothers.

William Robert Shaffer
GRASS VALLEY, Calif. - William Robert Shaffer, 54, of Grass Valley, Calif., along with his son, Jordan Keller, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, in a fatal house fire.
Born in San Francisco, Calif., Oct. 10, 1946, he was a son of Dr. and Mrs. R.N. Shaffer. He married his wife, Kim, in 1981.
He moved to Grass Valley in 1971 after graduating from California Western University and traveling for 2 1/2 years in Europe and India. Returning to the United States, he owned and operated Seva Books in Auburn, Calif., and later Shaffer Original Photography Studios in Grass Valley. In recent years his business interests were in property development and management.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his parents of San Francisco; a daughter, Justine Kinney and her husband, Matt; a granddaughter, Madison Kinney; two brothers, Stuart Shaffer of San Diego, Calif., and John Shaffer and his wife, Sue, of Meadville; a niece and a nephew.
The memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary, 459 Hollow Way, Nevada City, Calif.

Paul Peter Soros Sr.
GREENVILLE - Paul Peter Soros Sr., 89, of 70 Hilltop Road, Greenville, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at his residence.
He was born in Hungary June 14, 1911, a son of George and Julianne Soros. He married Magdolna (Maggie) Szabo Jan. 8, 1944.
He retired from Sharon Steel Corp. after 22 years.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Farrell.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 57 years, include three sons, Paul P. Soros Jr. of Greenville, George A. Soros of Hartstown and Robert J. Soros of Fredonia; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kasidy Soros.

Born in Geneva Sept. 11, 1930, he was a son of Wallace J. and Bernice A. Vogan Chatley. He married Dorothy Gearhart Nov. 13, 1952.
He was a 1949 graduate of Meadville High School and a graduate of Robert Morris School of Business.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict, serving from 1952 to 1956.
He worked as an accountant for GTI Corp. for 23 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of Park Congregational Church and the Methodist Men's Club of Baltimore, Md.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 48 years, include two sons, Edward R. Chatley of Harrisburg, and Donald P. Chatley and his wife, Debbie, of McConnellsburg; two daughters, Linda J. CONNEAUTVILLE - Franklin A. Onderko, 81, of 1314 E. Main St., Conneautville, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Rolling Fields after an extended illness.
Born in Warren, Minn., he was a son of Elmer J. Sr. and Sophie Lipko Onderko.
He married Anna Soult Aug. 10, 1949, and she preceded him in death April 26, 1997.
A World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in the First Armour Division in Africa; Montecino, Italy; and Bologna, Italy.
He retired from Ohio Rubber as an inspector.
He attended St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church of Conneautville.
Survivors include two brothers, Elmer Onderko Jr. of Conneautville, and Adolph (Duke) Onderko and his wife, Edna, of Linesville; four sisters, Cecilia Puliafico of Littleton, Colo., Betty McAnally and her husband, Edward, of Turtle Creek, and JoAnn Rendulic and her husband, Frank, and Helen Stevens and her husband, Audley, all of Conneautville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Bill, Jim and Matthew; and two sisters, Louise and Margaret.

Cecil A. Weingard
TOWNVILLE - Cecil A. Weingard, 85, of 31691 State Highway 408, Townville, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Meadville Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born at Whig Hill, Forest County, April 27, 1915, he was a son of William F. and Margaret R. Emert Weingard. He married Isabelle Margaret Marsteller March 30, 1939 on Bully Hill, near Franklin.
He completed apprenticeship as a machinist in 1939 while working at National Forge near Youngsville. He worked most of his life as a machinist.
He counted his relationship with God as the most important thing in his life. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church for about 60 years, and his last membership was with Titusville Free Methodist Church, which he joined in 1950.
An active member of Townville Senior Citizens for a number of years, he counted as his other interests his grandchildren, travel and genealogy. He and his wife visited every one of the lower 48 states by automobile.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 61 years, include a daughter, Linda Lewis and her husband, Raymond, of Centerville; three sons, Darrell E. Weingard of Montrose, Colo., Francis L. Weingard and his wife, Alice Marie, of Hotchkiss, Colo., and Robert W. Weingard and his wife, Nancy, of Townville; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Everall, Ray, Eugene and Harold; and two sisters, Helen Frost and Marie Deshner.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home, Main Street, Townville. There will be an additional calling hour Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Free Methodist Church, 42490 State Highway 27, Titusville.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Revs. Timothy Maybray and Timothy J. Yauger officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Jeanette R. Townsend
HUBBARD, Ohio - Jeanette R. Townsend, 87, of 34573 State Highway 408, Townville, formerly of West Liberty Street in Hubbard, Ohio, died Friday, March 23, 2001, at her home.
Born Aug. 3, 1913, in Orange, Ohio, she was a daughter of Floyd and Pearl Jones Chittle. She married Benjamin F. Townsend June 12, 1937. He died March 31, 1997. She moved to Townville in 1998.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Free Gospel Church in Youngstown, Ohio, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She and her late husband were also foster parents for more than 50 children.
A charter member of TOPS in Hubbard, Ohio, she enjoyed crocheting afghans.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Townsend of Youngstown, and James Townsend of Townville; a daughter, Benita Streb of Hubbard, Ohio; a brother, George Chittle of Burton, Ohio; a sister, Vivian Koebel of Hubbard; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, she was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Dobay, and a brother, Blanchard Chittle.
Calling hours are today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, 709 N. Main St., Hubbard.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Margaret A. Youngblood
GARDEN CITY, Kan. - Margaret A. Youngblood, 88, of Garden City, Kan., and formerly of Meadville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City.
Born Aug. 6, 1912, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Charles W. and Olive Mae Bain Pearson. She married William P. Youngblood June 29, 1946. He died Jan. 20, 1972.
She was a Meadville resident from 1927 until 1969, then moved to ElCentro, Calif., where she resided until 1990. She spent her final years in Garden City.
A homemaker, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City and volunteered with the Salvation Army for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Sarah M. Melnick of Holcomb, Kan.; and Marlene A. Smeltzer of Garden City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 36 years, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the Price and Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, where the funeral service will be at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Cousins officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in ElCentro.
Gary Lee Stewart
PITTSBURGH - Gary Lee Stewart, 39, of Pittsburgh, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in Pittsburgh.
He was born in Meadville April 12, 1961, a son of Harley Ardrey and Emily Howe Stewart.
A 1979 graduate of Titusville High School, he served in the U.S. Army and lived in many parts of the country including Titusville, Buffalo, N.Y., Dallas, Texas, Phoenix, Ariz., and most recently, Pittsburgh.
Survivors include three sisters, Joyce Sliter and her husband, Gary, of Guys Mills, Anne Fenton of Dallas, Texas, and Carol Sue Gariepy and her husband, Guy, of Marion Center; two brothers, R. Bruce Stewart Sr. and his wife, Marie, of Meadville, and Randy Stewart and his wife, Pat Wolff, of Titusville; six nieces, Liz Harriau, Janet Foune, Barbara Kirberger, Mary Sliter, Tina Fenton and Caitlyn Crusan; two nephews, R. Bruce Stewart Jr. and Shawn Crusan; an uncle; and cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Stewart.
A memorial service will be April 21 at 2 p.m. at the Erie National Wildlife Refuge visitor center, Route 198, east of Guys Mills.
Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Centerville.

Paul D. Swogger
COCHRANTON - Paul D. Swogger, 81, of 17082 Mattocks Road, Cochranton, Greenwood Township, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at UPMC Horizon Greenville following a period of failing health.
He was born in Fredonia Oct. 26, 1919, a son of Charles E. and Mary J. Hoover Swogger.
He was a dairy farmer in Greenwood Township for 60 years and was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Q. Swogger and his wife, Gladys, of Cochranton, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Swogger and Leroy Swogger; and two sisters, Mae Trotter and Goldie Stano.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home, 3223 Perry Highway, Sheakleyville.
The funeral and committal service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Transfer Cemetery, Transfer.
Mary C. Jacobs
COCHRANTON - Mary C. Jacobs, 79, of 2569 State Highway 173, Cochranton, died March 22, 2001, at home.
She was born in Randolph Township July 11, 1921, a daughter of Leaon and Dora Schenberg Beuchat. She married Clair Jacobs July 9, 1949.
A 1939 graduate of the former Randolph-East Mead High School, she worked in production at Talon Inc.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Cochranton.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 51 years, include three sons, James L. Jacobs of Cochranton, John R. Jacobs of Conneaut Lake, and Joe Jacobs and his wife, Leigh, of Erie; a daughter, June Schlosser and her husband, Roger, of Saegertown; four grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew Schlosser, and Kelly and Andrew Jacobs; a sister, Audrey Klins of Guys Mills; and two brothers, Ray Beuchat and his wife, Jayne, of Guys Mills, and William Beuchat of Meadville.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Dellamedaglia.
There will be no calling hours.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 251 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, with the Rev. B. LaMounte Sayers, pastor, as celebrant.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Crawford County Inc., 448 Pine St., Meadville, Pa. 16335.
