Anna M. Noll
PAXINOS - Anna M. Noll, 84, of RR2, died Sunday, July 25 at the home of her daughter.
Born Oct. 4, 1920 in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Harriet Kerstetter Williams.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was the widow of Charles Noll. Surviving are four daughters, Helen Arbogast of Dalmatia, Charlotte Brower of Williamstown, Peggy Angelo of Paxinos and Arlene Adams of Shamokin; four sisters, Cora Moore and Adelade Kehler, both of Pitman, Nancy Holman of Connecticut and Margaret Williams of Shamokin; two brothers, James Williams of Shamokin and John Williams of Paxinos; seven grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.
Services were private.

Pauline B. Kaufman
SUSQUEHANNA TWP - Pauline "Polly" B. Kaufman, 82, died Wednesday, July 28 at the Colonial Care Center in Lower Paxton Twp.
She was the widow of Warren Kaufman and a retired inspector for AMP in Harrisburg.
Surviving are a son, Rodney Kaufman of Wrightsville; two brothers, Robert Kolvick of Georgia and James Kolvick of Hershey; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Penbrook. Burial was in Halifax United Methodist Church Cemetery in Halifax.
Arrangements were made by Dailey Funeral Home in Penbrook.
Mae J. Diehl
Harrisburg - Mae J. "Nanny" Diehl, 76, of 5015 Berkley St., died Wednesday, July 28 at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Carrie M. Beury Bush, and a graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School.
She was a former employee of F.W. Woolworth Co. and Cromwell's Nursery, and a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Harrisburg. She also served as a former Girl Scout leader.
She was the widow of Palmer A. Diehl. Surviving are two daughters, Sherry M. Adams and Lynn M. Diehl, both of Harrisburg; two sisters, Eva J. Linebaugh of Mechanicsburg and Ann S. Miller of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Private graveside services were held at the convenience of the family at St. John's Kimmel's Cemetery in Ashland.

Charles H. Stoneroad
MILLERSBURG - Charles H. Stoneroad Jr., 79, of 277 Tarry Hall Road, died Saturday, July 24 at his residence.
Born in Upper Paxton Twp., he was the son of the late Charles and Irene Krotzer Stoneroad Sr.
He was retired from the former TRW in Harrisburg, and was a founding member, elder and high priest of the Millersburg Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; and a member of VFW Post No. 5507 and American Legion No. 326. He served as a volunteer with the Dauphin county meals on wheels program.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Bechtel Stoneroad; a son, John of Millersburg; a daughter, Lola Zankiewicz of Millersburg; a brother, Marion of Enola; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Stephen.
Services were held July 28 from Hoover Funeral Home in Millersburg. Burial with military honors was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.

Erla I. Gerhard
Elizabethville - Erla I. Gerhard, 81, of 32 South Moore Street, died Thursday, July 29 at the Hospice Residence in Linglestown.
Born July 3, 1923 in Dalmatia, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Tilly Hoke Brown.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Elizabethville.
She is survived by her husband, David E. Gerhard; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. from her church. Viewing will be at the church from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to services. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.

Dr. Phillips W. Brooks
Halifax - Phillips W. Brooks, DDS, 72, of 18 North Second Street, passed away Friday, July 30 at his home.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Dental School in Philadelphia, he was the owner of P.W. Brooks Dental Practice.
He was a former captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, and a member of the P.D.A.; A.D.A; Harrisburg Dental Society and P.S.I. Omega Dental Fraternity of the University of Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly J. Brooks; a daughter, Penne Weicker of Connecticut; a son, Kyle Brooks of Philadelphia; two step-daughters, Tami Creech of Delaware and Cari Potteiger of Halifax; and six granddaughters.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Michael J. Durkin
Tower City - Michael J. Durkin, 54, of 509 E. Colliery Ave., died Thursday, July 29 at his home.
Born in Lykens, he was the son of the late John and Violet M. Wolfgang Durkin, and was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.
He was employed as a die repairman at TYCO in Lickdale.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Ham Radio Club and the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1603 in Tower City. He also served as a former emergency medical technician.
Surviving are two brothers, John P. and Edward R., both of Tower City; a sister, Mary Ellen Moyer of Camp Hill; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held from the Dimon Funeral Home. Burial was at the convenience of the family in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Williamstown.

John P. Brosius
MILLERSBURG - John P. Brosius, 76, of 1237 Route 25, died Thursday, July 29 at his residence.
Born in Mifflin Twp., he was the son of the late Carlos and Maude Maurer Brosius.
He was a retired supervisor from general services of the State of Pennsylvania.
He assisted in the building of the gazebo at the Governor's mansion, and was a member of Carpenter's Local Union No. 287; Susquehanna Lodge No. 364 F&AM; and Salem Lutheran Church in Killinger where he served on the church council and as a deacon.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Betty L. Miller Brosius; a daughter, Donna M. Conz of Hummelstown; a brother Blair of Millersburg; a sister Mary Deibler of Millersburg; four grand-
children; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-
great-grandson.
Memorial services were held Aug. 3 from Hoover Funeral Home in Millersburg. Burial was in Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Killinger.

Jean B. Barnes
LYKENS - Jean B. Barnes, 73, of 25 King Fisher Drive, Ashland, formerly of Lykens, died Saturday, July 31 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Dec. 13, 1930 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Swartz Johnson.
She was a retired supervisor from New Cumberland Army Depo.
She was of the Protestant faith, and was a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary; and a lifetime member of the Military Order of Purple Heart Auxiliary and the Senior Citizens League.
She was the widow of James E. Barnes, and also was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Drebot. Surviving are four sons, Michael Drebot of New Cumberland, Jody Drebot of Wiconisco, and John and Todd Drebot, both of Lykens; two brothers, George Crossley of New York and Roland Johnson of Honeybrooke; a sister, Mary Jane Burda of Schuylkill Haven; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Aug. 3 from Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
