GREENBELT, Md. - Justine Ellen Shoop, 36, formerly of Elizabethville, died Nov. 9 as a result of a pedestrian accident in Prince George's County.
Born Nov. 30, 1968 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Paul E. and Carol Westover Shoop of Elizabethville.
She had worked for Metal Industries in Elizabethville.
Surviving are a daughter, Jacy Herb of Lykens; a sister, Kathy Schwartz of Elizabethville; and a brother, Kevin Shoop of Enola.
Services were private. Burial was private at Fairview (Enders) Cemetery in Halifax.

William L. Carl
WILLIAMSTOWN - William L. Carl, 72, of 705 W. Market St., died Nov. 15 at Gino J. Merli Veterans Center in Scranton.
Born Oct. 12, 1933 in Tower City, he was the son of the late Ivan and Mae Miller Carl.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and Army Reserve veteran.
He was a retired group leader with Wagman in York.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a member of the Williamstown American Legion Post No. 239 and of the United Steelworkers Union.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Arlen Carl and a sister, Nona Talhelm.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Margaret M. Maletich Carl; a son, Michael L. Carl of Williamstown; two sisters, Patty Britton of Florida and Judy Weist of Tower City; a brother, Robert Carl of Williamstown; and two granddaughters.
Services were held Nov. 18 at the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes in Tower City. Burial was at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Ralph H. W. Moyer
GRATZ - Ralph H. W. Moyer, 51, died Nov. 14 at home.
He was the son of Shirley A. Kitting of Lykens.
He was a former employee of the Naval Supply Depot in Mechanicsburg.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, William J. Kitting.
Surviving are his wife, Deloris M. Moyer.

WICONISCO - Dorian L. Fasnacht, 79, died Nov. 15 at home.
She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Edna Evans Bordlemay.
She was the widow of Paul S. Fasnacht Jr.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Stefonich of Lebanon and Elizabeth Hockenberry of Jonestown; a sister, Joyce L. Bordlemay of Lykens; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 21 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

WILLIAMSTOWN - John A. Michaels, 84, died Nov. 19 at the Manor of Susquehanna Village in Millersburg.
Born May 7, 1921 in Tower City, he was the son of the late John and Linda Crabb Michaels.
He was W.W. II Army Veteran.
He was a member of the VFW.
He was the widower of Faye Solence Michaels. He also was preceded in death by two daughters, Virginia Behney and Mary Michaels and two sons, John and James Michaels.
Surviving are three daughters, Alice Carl of Tower City, June Zipp of Wiconisco and Shirley Houtz of Williams-town; a son, Charles Michaels of Williamstown; two brothers, Charles of Wiconisco and Robert of Texas; two sisters, Shirley Soliday of Tower City and Pauline Hubler of Jones-town; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Services with military honors will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Charles A. "Pinky" Pinkerton
WILLIAMSTOWN - Charles A. "Pinky" Pinkerton, 63, died Dec. 4 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born August 19, 1942, he was the son of the late Leroy and Mary Umholtz Pinkerton.
He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.
He was a retired supervisor from the former Muskin Shoe Factory in Millersburg.
He was a member of the Tower City American Legion Post No. 468, the Williams-town VFW and Liberty Hose Co. No. 1 in Williamstown.
Surviving are a son, Charles A. Pinkerton, Jr. of Williams-town and three grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 8 at Dimon Funeral Homes in Williamstown. Burial was at Calvary United Methodist Cemetery in Wiconisco.

HALIFAX - Marian L. Minnich, 81, of 1148 Rutter Rd., died Dec. 5 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
Born Dec. 7, 1923 in Perry County, she was the daughter of the late Ira R. and Mary Graeff Kulp.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Fisherville.
She was the owner of the former Minnich's General Store in Enders.
She was the widow of Gilbert W. Minnich. She also was preceded in death by a son, Ronald S. Minnich, a sister, Blanche Litehizer and two brothers, John Kulp and Raymond Whittaker.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth L. Minnich of Dallas, Texas and Gary L. Minnich of Rapid City, S.D.; a sister, Esther Lentz of Halifax; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was a retired employee from the former Muskin Shoe Factory in Millersburg.
She was the widow of George A. Bowman.

Born August 3, 1961 in Ludington, Mich., he was the son of Rev. Fred E. and Mary Lou Bennetch of Marysville.
He worked as a consultant for a securities firm in New York City.
He was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church in Millersburg.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, David J. Bennetch of Mechanicsburg.
Services were held Dec. 10 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Marysville. Burial was at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Marysville.

Mildred Leona Sultzbaugh
ELIZABETHVILLE - Mildred Leona Sultzbaugh, 96, of Armstrong Valley Rd. in Halifax, died Dec. 6 at the Kepler Home.
Born Nov. 25, 1909 in Lykens, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Lula E. Miller Dietz.
She was a retired owner and operator of a grocery store and worked as a leather splitter in the shoe factory.
She was a member of St. Jacobs Church Reformed and the Fisherville Ladies Fire Auxiliary.
She was the widow of William P. Sultzbaugh. She also was preceded in death by three sons, two sisters and a brother.
Surviving are a sister, Thelma Dietz Diebert of South Carolina; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 10 at Reinhard Funeral Home.

She was the widow of Marlin Hershey.
Surviving are two sons, Michael and David Hershey; a daughter, Ilene Shoop; three grand-
children; and a great-grandson.

Mae I. Wetzel
PITMAN - Mae I. Wetzel, 80, of 347 Ridge Rd., died Dec. 9 at the Friendly Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 20, 1924 in Pitman, she was the daughter of the late Fred G. Hepler and Ruth Keim Hepler.
She was a retired worker at the former Muskin Shoe Factory in Millersburg and sold produced in the Ashland and Frackville areas.
She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Pitman and a former member of the Funeral Meal Commit-tee.
She was the widow of Mark Wetzel. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Hepler.
Surviving are a sister, Grace Hoch of Lebanon and a brother, Leon "Link" Hepler of Pitman.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church in Pitman. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Jacob's Cemetery in Pitman.

He was the widower of his first wife, Jean Huratiak Herner. He also was preceded in death by a son, Paul A. Herner, a brother, Bruce Herner and a stepmother, Verna Williams Herner.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene C. Yoder Herner, a daughter, Joyce L. Berckey of Temple; a sister, Arlene Lesher of Sacramento; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Dec. 13 at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home. Burial was at St. John's Cemetery in Hegins.

Born March 31, 1956 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of John and Nancy Buffington Ward and George Salada, all of Williamstown.
She was of the protestant faith and a member of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf in Harrisburg.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Cyrus B. and a daughter, Halona L., at home.

HALIFAX - Albert F. "Pony" Kerstetter, 76, of 115 Parmer Dr., died Dec. 10 at his residence.
Born Sept. 2, 1929 in Halifax Twp., he was the son of the late Mason M. and Sarah E. Roller Kerstetter.
He was a retired mechanic at the New Cumberland Army Depot and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of St. Peter's "Fetterhoff's" Luthe-ran Church in Halifax.
He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 0648 and served as a past post commander of the VFW Post No. 5750, both in Halifax.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Mason Kerstetter and three sisters, Laura Musser, Stella Ditty and Alberta Baker.
Surviving are his wife, Alberta S. Hoover Kerstetter; a son, Dean S. Kerstetter of Halifax; a daughter, Mary E. Chubb of Halifax; a sister, Emma Shoop of Millersburg; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at Hoover Funeral Homes in Millersburg. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Long's Cemetery in Halifax.
