Carol J. Rebuck
HEGINS – Carol J. Rebuck, 50, of 355 Deep Creek Road, died April 17 at her home.
Born Jan. 18, 1956 in Fountain Springs, she was a daughter of Carl J. and Alice Kehler Snyder of Pitman.
She was a 1973 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a 1975 graduate of Central Penn Business School in Harris-burg.
She was a secretary at the Tri-Valley High School.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church in Pitman where she was Sunday school superintendent and Bible school director. She also was a member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge Camp No. 433 of Pitman and was active in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Tri-Valley High School.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Debra A. Kroh.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Dennis G. Rebuck; two daughters, Kristy Rebuck of Reading and Kayla Rebuck at home; a son, Kenneth Rebuck of Hegins; a sister, Beverly Lesher of Pasadena, Md.; and four brothers, Donald Snyder of Carlisle, Steve Snyder and Tracy Snyder, both of Pitman and Mark Snyder of Valley View.
Services were held April 20 at Zion Evangelical Congregational Church in Pitman. Burial was at Zion E.C. Cemetery in Pitman.

William H. Herman
TOWER CITY – William H. Herman, 79, of 524 W. Wiconisco Ave., died April 18 at Hershey Medical Center.
Born May 3, 1926 in Muir, he was the son of the late Harry and Sadie Rowe Herman.
He was a W.W. II Navy veteran.
He was a retired shipping clerk from L. Wohl & Co. in Harrisburg. He also was owner of Herman's Pet Shop in Tower City.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Ashlar Lodge No. 50 F&AM in Lykens, Tremont Royal Arch Chapter in Valley View where he was past high priest, and a former member and past president of the Porter Tower Rotary Club.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Hummel and Helen Underkoffler and two brothers, Dave and Paul Herman.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Lois M. Baddorf Herman; a daughter, Linda M. Filler of Fredricksburg; a brother, Clarence Herman of Tower City; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 22 from the chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes in Tower City. Burial was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.

Helen M. Niehenke
HARRISBURG – Helen M. Niehenke, 76, of 4561 Sequoia Dr., died April 18 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
Born August 25, 1929 in Williamstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Stella Lower Bell.
She was a retired seamstress from the garment industry.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She was the widow of Herman J. "Jut" Niehenke. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and George Bell.
Surviving are a son, Dennis H. Niehenke of Harrisburg and five sisters, Carol Scheib of Donaldson, Margaret Davis of Florida, Dorothy Scheidler of Lykens, Anna Twardowski of Connecticut and Ruth Robinson of Arizona.
Services were held April 24 from the chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes in Tower City. Burial was at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
William J. Harris
MILLERSBURG – William J. Harris, 90, a resident at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, formerly of 208 Schoolhouse Lane, died April 19 at the Manor.
Born Nov. 9, 1915 in Lower Mahanoy Twp., he was the son of the late Nevin E. and Carrie E. Koppenhaver Harris.
He was the retired owner of W. J. Harris Transportation and the custodian of the former Berrysburg schools.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Killinger and the former sexton of the church cemetery. He also was a member of the Woodmen of the World No. 721, Lutheran Brotherhood and Berrysburg Fire Co.
He was the widower of Ruth A. Miller Harris. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Ammon and Albert.
Surviving are a brother, Frank E. Harris of Millersburg and a stepdaughter, Renee A. Paxton of Venice, Fla.
Graveside services were held April 24 at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Killinger.

Rachel Mae Zook
LYKENS – Rachel Mae Zook, 4, died April 19 at her residence.
Born Jan. 23, 2002 in Mifflinburg, she was the daughter of Elmer S. and Edna B. Stoltzfus Zook.
Surviving in addition to her parents are three sisters, Ada Ruth Fisher of Millersburg and Anna Mae Zook and Katherine S. Zook, both at home; three brothers, Raymond S. Zook, John Mark Zook and Amos Jay Zook, all at home; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandparents.
Services were held April 21 at the residence of her parents.
Clair A. Gable
DAUPHIN – Clair A. Gable, 88, died April 19 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.
He was a retired aircraft mechanic for the U.S. government Department of Defense and owner of Gable's Greenhouse in Dauphin.
He was a member of Hope United Presbyterian Church in Dauphin.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth L. Troutman Gable; a stepdaughter, Barbara Shearer of Pine Bush, N.Y.; a stepson, Thomas L. Taylor of Dauphin; a brother, Ralph Gable of Tower City; five step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 24 at Hope Presbyterian Church. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Muir.

William E. Fannasy, Jr.
HALIFAX – William E. Fannasy, Jr., 73, died April 20 at his son's residence in Penbrook.
Born March 14, 1933 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late William E. and Clara Buckland Fannasy.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
He was the retired owner of the National Novelty Co.
He was a lifetime member of Middletown Moose No. 410, Lawnton American Legion No. 7415, New Cumberland VFW, Rutherford Amvets No. 286, Verhovay Home Association, Hershey Italian Club and the Republican National Committee.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Satsie Harrison.
Surviving are two sons, William III of Penbrook and Bob of Dauphin; a daughter, Susan Trexler Fannasy of York, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, April 27 at noon at Hoover Funeral Homes in Millersburg. A viewing will be held from Wednesday, April 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 11 to noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax.

Theodore D. Hand
HARRISBURG – Theodore D. Hand, 53, died April 20 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born May 28, 1952 in Rome, N.Y., he was the son of Herman H. and Ardeth L. Souther Hand of Lykens.
He was a 1970 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School.
He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp.
There will be no services.

Clinton James Harman
HEGINS – Clinton James Harman, 25, of 498 S. Goodspring Road, died April 22 in Mollystown.
Born Dec. 18, 1980 in Pottsville, he was the son of Mark J. and Vicki G. Finger Harman of Hegins.
He was a 1999 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
He was a self-employed plumber.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church in Valley View.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Clair M. Harman of Valley View; paternal grandfather, Larry Harman of Pottsville and grandmother, Rosemary Harman of Millersburg.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 26 at 11 a.m. at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.

Sadie E. Stoltzfus
HEGINS – Sadie E. Stoltzfus, 5-months-old, died April 22 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville.
Born Nov. 12, 2005, she was the daughter of Jonas L. and Esther F. Esh Stoltzfus of Hegins.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her paternal grandmother, Sadie B. Stoltzfus of Leola and her maternal grandparents, Sam and Rebecca Esh of Paradise.
Services were held April 24 at her parents' residence. Burial was at Spring Glen Cemetery.
