Edna V. Schlegel
MILLERSBURG - Edna V. Schlegel, 83, of Susquehanna Lutheran Village, formerly of Sacramento, died Wednesday, July 30 at the village.
Born in Hegins Twp., she was the daughter of the late James and Katie Troup Schwartz.
She was the widow of Irvin Schlegel.
She and her late husband owned the Schlegel's grocery store in Sacramento. She was a member of Weishample Church of God and former member of the Sacramento Fire Company auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; a brother, Valentine Schwartz; and a sister, Evelyn Neumeister. Surviving are three daughters, Vera Maurer of Lancaster, Brenda Williamson of Mt. Joy and Doris Williams of Millersburg; a sister, Twila Green of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; six great-grandchildren; and a step- great-granddaughter.
Services were held Aug. 1 from the Weishample Church of God. Burial was in Valley View Church of God Cemetery.

Stanley Williard
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Stanley Williard, 72, died Sunday, July 20.
Born April 20, 1931, he was the son of the late Perry and Carrie Starr Williard.
He was retired from the U.S. Army and Civil Service and was a member of the 11th Airborn Association; the 101st Association; American Legion and Disabled Veterans Association; and New Providence United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Obera McPeake Williard; a son, Steve Williard of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; a half brother, William D. Koppenhaver of Gratz; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 22.
Margaret K. Bressler
VALLEY VIEW - Margaret Kathryn Bressler, 88, died Tuesday, July 29 at her daughter's home in York.
Born Dec. 20, 1914 in Valley View, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary R. Schwalm Updegrave and a 1932 graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School.
She was a retired seamstress from the former Philmark Manufacturing in Valley View and a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Hegins.
She was the widow of Clyde E. Bressler and also was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Updegrave. Surviving are a son, Clyde A. Bressler of Delta, Ontario; a daughter, Lorraine Miller of York; a sister, Mildren Kuntzleman of Tower City; four grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Aug. 2 from Buffington-Reed Funeral Home in Valley View. Burial was in Fountain Community Cemetery.

Anna H. Kreisher
Millersburg - Anna H. Kreisher, 77, of Dundalk, Md., formerly of Millersburg, died Wednesday, July 16.
Born in Millersburg, she was the daughter of the late Roy Ulsh Heinbaugh and Dora Ellen Hoy Heinbaugh and a 1942 graduate of Millersburg Area High School.
Upon marriage she relocated to Dundalk, Md. and was employed with Westinghouse for five years, then Western Electric for 18 years. After retirement, she was involved as an auxiliary pioneer for the Jehovah's Witnesses from 1987 until the time of her death.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, George Kreisher; a daughter, Roxie Chiveral; a son, Stephen Kreisher; a brother, Lee Heinbaugh of Halifax; a sister, Mary Paul of Fairbanks, Alaska; seven grandchildren; and two great-grand-
daughters. She was preceded in death by two sons, Brian and Gary Carpenter; and a daughter, Dawn Neal.
Memorial services were held July 19 from Dundalk Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
John Albert Holtzman
MILLERSBURG - John Albert Holtzman, 71, of Newtown, Ohio, formerly of Millersburg, died Friday, July 11 at his home.
He was a graduate of Millersburg Area High School.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon nee Grob Holtzman; his mother, Grace Holtzman of Millersburg; three sons, Michael, Stephen and Tim; and eight grandchildren.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.

MILLERSBURG - Edward P. Dworchak, 70, of 1498 Route 209 died Thursday at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born in Upper Paxton Twp., he was the son of the late Edward and Bertha Geyer Dworchak.
He worked at the Northern Dauphin County YMCA in Elizabethville and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy A. Savidge Dworchak; a daughter, Donna D. Boyer of Millersburg; three sisters, Alma Leitzel of Halifax and Gloria Koppenhaver and Anita Erdman, both of Millersburg; and two grandchildren.
There will be no services. Arrangements were made by Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc. in Millersburg.

MILLERSBURG - Mary L. Bellis of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Millersburg, died Friday, July 25.
Surviving are a daughter, Shandra Smith of Tampa, Fla.; eight sisters, Donna Koppenheffer, Bette Heiser, June Messner and Hilda Collier, all of Millersburg, Marion Memory of Tampa, Fla, Dorothy Wiest of Halifax, Esther Schaffner of Dalmatia and Mabel Weida of Elizabethville; and four brothers, Mark and Robert Bellis of Millersburg, Blair of Duncannon and Lloyd of Crystal River, Fla.
Memorial services were held Aug. 1 at Simeon Lutheran Church in Gratz. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Robert J. Seip
williamstown - Robert J. Seip, 74, of 350 W. Broad Street, died Thursday, July 31 at Hershey Medical Center.
Born April 19, 1929 in Wiconisco, he was the son of the late Edward and Anna Clouser Seip.
He was retired from Ft. Indiantown Gap in Annville and had previously been the chief of police for 12 years for the Williamstown Borough. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and a member of Williamstown Methodist Church; Williamstown American Legion No. 239; and Liberty Hose Company No. 1 in Williamstown.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Elaine M. Evans Seip; a daughter, Deborah K. Venesevich of Annville; three sons, Robert A. of Palmyra, James E. of Hummelstown and Gary E. of Harrisburg; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by a brother, Elwood.
Funeral services were held Aug. 4 from Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. in Williamstown. Burial will full military honors was in Fairview Cemetery.
Lee J. Warfield
REINERTON - Lee J. "Sully" Warfield, 88, formerly of Reinerton, died Saturday, Aug. 2 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Dec. 14, 1914 in Williamstown, he was the son of the late Ernie and Mabel Williard Warfield and a 1932 graduate of Porter Twp. High School.
He was a lifelong resident of Reinerton where he owned and operated an Esso/Exxon station for more than 40 years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Tower City; a former member and officer of the Tower-Porter Rotary Club; and a Paul Harris Fellow.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth; a brother, Clifford; and a sister, Kathleen Shingledecker. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Catherine Schwalm Warfield; three daughters, Nancy Thompson of Reinerton, Carol Tallman of Tower City and Ellen Barkos of Williamstown; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. from his church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Fairview Cemetery in Williamstown.

GRATZ - Irvin C. Adams, 88, of 102 E. Market St., died Tuesday, July 29 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born Oct. 5, 1914 in Rebuck, he was the son of the late Clemens I. and Annie E. Adams.
He was a self-employed owner and dealer of Irvin C. Adams Motors from 1946 to 1979 and president of Adams Ford, Inc. from 1979 until his retirement.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Congregational Church in Gratz; a lifetime member of Dauphin County Volunteer Fireman's Association and Gratz Fire Company; an active member of Gratz Fair Association and a charter member of the Dutchmen's Paradise hunting camp in Clinton County.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Pauline M. Snyder Adams; a son, Paul J.H. Adams of Gratz; two brothers, Dr. Eugene Adams of Millersburg and Barnie Adams; two sisters, Josephine Erdman of Millersburg and Annabelle Febig of Kulpmont; two grandsons; and two great-grand-
children. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Clara Mae; three brothers, Russell, Howard and Marvin; and a sister, Mary Sydney Brown.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Aug. 2 from his church. Burial was in Gratz Union Cemetery.

wiconisco - Shirley I. Koppenhaver, 71, of 200 Wiconisco St., died Wednesday, July 30 at Kepler Convalescent Home in Elizabethville.
Born Dec. 8, 1931 in Lykens, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Thelma Morris Dauberman and a 1950 graduate of the former Lykens High School.
Surviving are her husband, J. Lloyd Koppenhaver; three sons, Lloyd S. of Dalmatia and William E. and Thomas R., both of Wiconisco; three daughters, Barbara J. Miller of Clinton, N.C., Patty S. Koppenhaver of Daytona Beach, Fla. and JoAnn Koppenhaver of Lykens; five brothers, Edgar and Glenn Dauberman, both of Wiconisco, Dean Dauberman of Lykens, George Dauberman of Tower City and John Dauberman of Millersburg; five sisters, Vivian Shartle of Harrisburg, Doris Dauberman of Wiconisco, Sara Miller and Elizabeth Beard, both of Lykens, and Mary Sponic of Goose Creek, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Muir - Betty L. Wagner, 79, of 201 Keystone St., died Sunday, Aug. 3 at the home of her son.
Born Dec. 24, 1923 in Muir, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Annie Hand Wolfgang.
She was a retired seamstress from the garment industry and attended the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Muir.
She was the widow of Robert A. Wagner, and also was preceded in death by two sons, Robert C. and Rodney R. Sr. Surviving are a son, Ricky L. of Orwin; two sisters, Helen Herb of Tower City and Dora Evans of Bethlehem; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. in Tower City. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel, prior to services. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Muir.

WILLAMSTOWN - Howard Wayne Warfel, 69, and his wife, June R. Warfel, 71, of 339 Elizabeth St., died unexpectedly at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.
Mr. Warfel died Saturday, Aug. 2. Mrs. Warfel died Sunday, Aug. 3.
Born Jan. 9, 1935 in Williamstown, Mr. Warfel was the son of the late Howard and Beatrice Davis Warfel. He was a retired nursing aide at Lebanon VA Medical Center and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was of the Protestant faith and a member of the Williamstown American Legion No. 239.
Born June 2, 1932 in Williamstown, Mrs. Warfel was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Moyer. She was a homemaker and a member of Williamstown United Methodist Church.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Warfel graduated from the former Williamstown High School. They were married 49 years and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 22.
Surviving are five sons, Wayne L., Terry L. and Craig R, all of Williamstown, Kevin L. of Lykens and Scott R. of Tower City; six daughters, Wendie L. Wierman of Camp Hill, Winnie L. White of Dauphin, Beth L. Warfel and Bunne J. Warfel, both of Williamstown, Joyce M. Drebot of Wiconisco and Lynne M. Warfel of Lykens;13 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; a great-
granddaughter; and two step-great-grandchildren.
In addition, Mr. Warfel is survived by a sister, Luzetta Stair of Bethlehem. Mrs. Warfel is survived by a brother, Kenneth Moyer of Williamstown.
Funeral services for the couple will be held Friday, Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. from Williamstown United Methodist Church. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church, prior to services. Burial with full military honors will be in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
