Allen R. Krawczel, 63, formerly of 3241 Wakefield Road, Susquehanna Township, died Sunday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Lebanon.
Born in Shenandoah, Jan. 21, 1936, he was a son of the late Alex and Evelyn Tarutis Krawczel.
He was an Army veteran.
He was a former Pennsylvania state trooper.
He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and Keystone Lodge 41, Fraternal Order of Police.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores M.; a son, A.J. Krawczel, Lititz; two sisters, Sandra Guerrra, Ludwig, Mass., and Evelyn Kacelowicz, Orwigsburg; a niece; two nephews.

Charlotte E. Adams, 70, of Lebanon, died Monday at Spangcrest Manor, Lebanon.
Born in Lebanon County, March 30, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Oscar I. and Erma Mease Adams.
She was employed as a seamstess at the S&M factory, Lebanon.
She was a member of the Suedberg Church of God and Women's Christian Temperance Union.
Surviving are a sister, Florence Wagner, Annville; a brother, Arnold Adams, Jonestown; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove. The Rev. Harry Madison will officiate. Interment will be in Suedberg Church of God Cemetery, RD1 Pine Grove.

Born in Delano, March 19, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Josie Gibson Riddle.

She was employed for 52 years at Ashland Shirt Corp., Ashland, as a floor lady until retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson, in 1994; three brothers, Thomas, Lester and Edward Hebert; a sister, Margaret Banning.

Born in Pottsville, Sept. 9, 1921, he was a son of the late Lawrence L. and Emma E. Neider Evans. He was a 1939 graduate of Pottsville High School, attended Georgia Military College, Milledgeville, Ga. and the University of Richmond, Richmond, Va.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a technical sergeant with the 147th Infantry Regiment in the Pacific Theater.
He owned and operated the Francis ``Bud'' Evans Floor Covering Business for over 25 years, retiring in 1989.
He was inducted into the Pottsville Area High School, All Sports Hall of Fame and Allen-Rogowicz Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.
He was a member of Walter Griffiths AMVETS Post 180, Pottsville, and a life member of West End Hose Company No. 7, Pottsville.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence E. ``Jerry,'' in 1996, and Albert C., in 1949.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, the former Helen Neuser; a daughter, Lisa E. Quigley, Old Greenwich, Conn.; two grandchildren; a nephew; grandnieces and grandnephews.
