Albert C. Zukas
Albert C. Zukas, 93, of 130 Walnut St., Tuscarora, died Tuesday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lost Creek, Nov. 10, 1906, he was a son of the late Alexander and Anna Quintinsky Zukas.
He was a retired mechanic at the former Schocks Contracting, Tuscarora.
He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, Tuscarora.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alex and Leonard; four sisters, Anna Judge, Charlotte Paisley, Adel Sands and Tillie Kristoff.
Surviving are his wife, the former Kathryn E. Yarnell, to whom he was married 72 years on Nov. 14; a daughter, Betty I. Chelak, Mahanoy City; a son, Leonard M., Tuscarora; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Advent Lutheran Church. The Rev. James C. Covert will officiate. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Griffiths & Reeser Funeral Home Inc., Tamaqua, is in charge of arrangements.

John L. Androkitis
Services for John L. Androkitis, 76, of Ranch Road, Orwisgburg, who died Sunday at Pottsville Hospital, were held today at Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church, Lewistown Valley, Tamaqua. The Rev. Joseph M. Aldridge officiated. Interment was in Kimmel's Church of God Cemetery, Orwigsburg. Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg, was in charge of arrangements.
He served as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Among survivors is his wife, the former R. Fern Hartle.

Betty B. Baddorf
Betty B. Baddorf, 79, of 401-B Market St., Lykens, a retired school teacher who also had operated a preschool program, died Feb. 23, as a result of a traffic accident in Porter Township.
She was a graduate of Williamstown High School and Drexel University.
She retired in 1978 as a kindergarten teacher in the Williams Valley School District, was a former district home economics teacher, and taught in her own preschool program for 18 years, retiring four years ago.
She was a member of Williamstown United Methodist Church, president of its Womens' Association for several years and had been a coordinator for social action for Greater Harrisburg District of United Methodist Women. She was a member of Story Tellers League, Harrisburg, American Legion Post Auxiliary and Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Beth Hall, Atlanta.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Williamstown UM Church. Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Lower Paxton Township, is in charge of arrangements.

Earl R. Moyer
Earl R. Moyer, 66, of 2 E. Sunbury St., Minersville, died Tuesday at ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville.
Born in Friedensburg, June 8, 1933, he was a son of the late Theodore and Cora Loy Moyer.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He retirted in 1994 as a mechanic on heavy equipment at Cleveland Brothers, Frackville.
He was a life member of the North American Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by a son, Earl, and a brother, Ted.
Surviving are five sons, Kevin, Schuylkill Haven, Jeff, Utah, Jerry, Friedensburg; Robert, RD Pottsville, and Randy, Minersville; five daughters, Lori Johnson, Germany, Mindy Nevels, Cressona, Stacy Krise, Tremont, Heather Rhody, Minersville, and Melonie Lex, Nuremberg; a sister, Irma Schwartz, Orwigsburg; three brothers, Ernest, Friedensburg, Sterling, Orwigsburg, and Kenneth, College Park, Md.; three sisters, Joan Renninger and Jane Herring, both of RD Schuylkill Haven, and Barbara Yost, Jacksonville, N.C.; a brother, Richard, Friedensburg; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from Ebling Funeral Home, Cressona. The Rev. Howard Souder will officiate. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Edward R. Summers
Edward R. Summers, 81, of 6505 Keefers Lane, Bloomsburg, died Monday at Bloomsburg Health Care Center, where he lived since Feb. 19. He was in ill health for two months.
Born in Shamokin, July 27, 1918, he was a son of the late Edward R. Summers Sr. and Ida Kahney Summers.
He was an Army veteran, having served in Europe.
He was a maintenance director of Bloomsburg Hospital for 19 years, retiring in 1983. Before that he worked for Magee Carpet Co. in the maintenance department and after retiring worked part-time at Weis Markets.
He was a former South Centre Township supervisor.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg, where he served in the Bell Choir and was a former member of Lime Ridge UM Church. He was a member of Elysburg Masonic Lodge and Caldwell Consistory, Bloomsburg.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joycelyn Andrews, to whom he was married 58 years; a daughter, Lucretia Summers Muhlhausen, Bethlehem; two sisters, Sally O'Neill, Pottsville, and Edna Lamana, Philadelphia; two brothers, Levi, Pottsville, and William, Philadelphia.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from Allen Funeral Home, Bloomsburg. The Revs. J. Donald Firestone and Charles Hess will officiate. Interment will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.

Frank V. Foster
Frank V. Foster, 70, of RD3 Tamaqua, died Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown.
Born in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, Nov. 23, 1929, he was a son of the late Martin and Mary Schisano Foster. He moved to West Penn Township in 1968.
He ran an auto body repair shop in Lafayette Hills, Philadelphia, then and owned and operated Franks Peddlers Antique Shop, RD3 Temple.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joyce T. Tyson; a daughter, Victoria Ann Foster, Key Largo, Fla.; three children from a previous marriage; two brothers; six sisters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, New Ringgold. The Revs. Donald E. Schwenk and Al Zentner will officiate. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.

Grace L. Masleh, 82, died Friday at Sebring Memorial Medical Center, Sebring, Fla.
Born in Delano, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Verna Blackwell. She lived and worked most of her life in Pottstown prior to retiring to Lake Placid, Fla. She was a 1934 graduate of Mahanoy City High School with a perfect attendance record.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Surviving are a companion of 34 years, George Seidle, Lake Placid; four sons, Ronald, Manchester Center, Vt., Joseph, Douglassville, Ephrata, and Steve, West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Elva Bainbridge, Park Crest; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Highland Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Arthur E. Wolfgang Jr., 54, of 207 E. Biddle St., Gordon, who died Tuesday morning at Ashland Regional Medical Center, Fountain Springs, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Simpson United Methodist Church, Gordon. The Rev. Born in Fountain Springs, April 10, 1945, he was a son of Dorothy Korn Wolfgang, Ashland, and the late Arthur E. Wolfgang Sr. He was a 1964 graduate of Ashland Area High School.
He was an Army veteran with the 32nd Armor Division during the Vietnam War as a National Defense radio operator and rifle expert at Fort Knox, Ky., and Fort Gordon, Ga.
He was employed as a corrections officer at State Correctional Institution/Mahanoy Township.
He was a member of Simpson UM Church, Ashland Lodge 294, F&AM, Griscom Royal Arch Chapter 219, Ashland, Citizens Fire Company, Gordon, and Gordon Hunting Camp.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Charlene Schoffler, to whom he was married 34 years; two sons, Eric, Allenwood, and Deryl, Gordon; a daughter, Sabrina Brobst, Tamaqua, a sister, Connie Knowlton, Tulahoma, Tenn.; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
