Louise Carducci Dean, 75, of Brownsville, Centerville Borough, formerly of Cokeburg Junction, died Tuesday, December 15, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born December 5, 1923, in Avella, a daughter of Domenick Carducci and Anna Ansello Carducci Boswell.
Mrs. Dean attended Somerset Township School and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Ladies Mid- week Bowling League at Tan-O-Bell Lanes in Bentleyville.
Surviving are her husband, John H. Dean Jr., whom she married in 1948; six daughters, Bertha Dean Lyon of Eighty Four, Talmadge Dean of Benson, N.C., Marion Dean D'Orazio of Centerville, Marlene Dean Gajan of Herndon, Va., Vanessa Dean of Claysville and Lillian Dean Burns of Washington; four sons, Marvin Dean of California, John Dean Jr. and Bryant Dean, both of Centerville, and Leonard Dean of Marianna; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Rusilko of Ellsworth; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Violet Boswell and Stella Yannacci.

Member of Robinson United Presbyterian Church
Sam G. Donaldson, 37, of Moon Township, Allegheny County, formerly of Bulger, died unexpectedly Monday, December 14, 1998.
He was born January 12, 1961, in Bulger, a son of Andrew H. Donaldson of Bulger and the late Donna M. Donaldson.
Mr. Donaldson worked the past 16 years with Sofis as a laborer in Clinton.
He was member of Laborers Union Local 1058 and a member of Robinson United Presbyterian Church in Bulger.
Mr. Donaldson was a 1979 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and socializing with family and friends, especially his daughters.
Mr. Donaldson served in the U.S. Navy on a ship as a boiler engineer.
In 1987, he married Betty J. Harbaugh, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Ashley M. and Amber N., Donaldson both at home; four sisters, Betty J. Cox of Norfolk, Va., Bonnie L. Sowinski and Donna L. Donaldson, both of McDonald, and Karen S. Dummer of Bulger; four brothers, Dennis W. Donaldson of Oakdale, Jerry D. Donaldson of McDonald, James A. Donaldson of Langeloth, and Timothy A. Donaldson of Bulger; and 22 nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth H. Dorsey, 92, of 2711/2 West South Street, Waynesburg, died at 7:55 p.m. Monday, December 14, 1998, in Franklin Care Center, Waynesburg.
She was born July 18, 1906, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Hal and Mary Etta Curry Hickey.
Mrs. Dorsey lived in Waynesburg since 1925.
She was a member of the former Bethel AME Church of Waynesburg.
Mrs. Dorsey had worked at the National Tube Co. in McKeesport, and later owned and operated a catering service in Waynesburg for several years.
On March 11, 1925, she married Fred W. Dorsey, who died October 25, 1991.
Surviving are several cousins.
Deceased is a brother, Charles Hickey.
Anna D. Huffman

Anna Delorise Huffman, 76, of Chestnut Hill Apartments, Washington, died at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 1998, in Washington Hospital, following a six-week illness.
She was born December 1, 1922, in Washington County, a daughter of Leroy Louis and Leona Irene Hewitt Linton.
Mrs. Huffman was a homemaker and was Protestant.
In 1941, she married, Joseph Allie Huffman, who died in 1971.
Surviving are a son, Joseph A. Huffman Jr. of Amity; a daughter, Delorise Abercrombie of Cortez, Colo.; four brothers, Arthur and Charles Linton, both of Scenery Hill, and Walter and Robert Linton, both of Washington; a sister, Edna Ellis of Washington; four grandchildren, Joseph and Bryan Abercrombie, Melissa Huffman and Kristen Ward; and two great-grandchildren.
Basil McCracken
Member of Clayville United Methodist Church
Basil McCracken, 78, of Claysville, Donegal Township, died unexpectedly Monday, December 14, 1998, in an accident near his home.
He was born October 2, 1920, in Cameron, W.Va., a son of Basil Underwood and Nora Fletcher McCracken.
Mr. McCracken was a member of Claysville United Methodist Church, where he participated on church council, the Outreach Committee and the Pastor-Staff Relations Committee. He had previously held the office of trustee as well as numerous other offices and participated in the Claysville Association of Churches, which fosters relationships and interfaith services among member churches.
He served as a staff sergeant in the Air Force during World War II and served in the European Theater, where he participated in the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded six Bronze stars and the Good Conduct Medal for his service.
Mr. McCracken was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Operating Engineers Local 66 for 50 years until his retirement. He then served as superintendent of Claysville Cemetery for eight years until retiring Dec. 1.
He was a member of Claysville James R. Hunt American Legion Post 639, Clayville Lodge 447, F.&A.M., Antique Auto Club of America, Antique Auto Club-Covered Bridge Region, a charter member of Washington County Antique Engine and Collectors Club, McGuffey Senior Citizen Center and a charter member of Washington Flyers Club.
Mr. McCracken enjoyed working with steam engines, learning about steam powered trains and flying.
He served two times on Claysville-Donegal Joint Municipal Authority and was known for playing Santa Claus for local children for more than 30 years.
On October 25, 1969, in Claysville United Methodist Church, he married, Martha Kuhn, who survives and was also previously married March 21, 1942, in Glen Dale, W.Va., to Betty Chase McCarrell of Hickory, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Basil Frederick McCracken of Anawan, Ill., William Byron McCracken of Hickory, Robert Clark McCracken of Nashville, Tenn., and Fred Kuhn of Claysville; two daughters, Bonnie Bitz and Beverly Sloane, both of Claysville; two brothers, Rolland McCracken of Senecaville, Ohio, and Keith Adrian McCracken of Cameron, W.Va.; three sisters, Juanita McCracken of Canonsburg, Anna Lucy McCracken of Washington, D.C., and Wanda Frazee of Lone Pine; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Helen B. Natali

Helen B. Natali, 98, of Crawford Road, Fredericktown, died at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 1998, at her home.
She was born May 10, 1900, in Webster, a daughter of Mhat and Helen Consugar Bleishock.
Mrs. Natali was a member of the parish of St. Oliver Plunkett, and a charter member of the Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild of the church, member of ladies auxiliary of Hanson-Cole American Legion Post 391 of Fredericktown and a member of Beth-Center Senior Citizens.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph E. Natali at home, James R. Natali of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, and John D. Natali of Beaver; two daughters, Helen Jean Nicholson of Enterprise, Ala., and Mary Lou Baylor of Alliance, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are her husband, Louis P. Natali Sr., who died in 1960; a daughter, Dolores Natali who died in 1941; three sons, Ronald Natali, who died in 1937, Louis P. Natali Jr., who died in 1988, and Paul William "Bill" Natali, who died in 1994; two sisters, Anna Bell and Mary Kersnick; and two brothers, John and Joseph Bleishock.
Lawrence B. Reeves

Lawrence B. Reeves, 89, of South Wade Avenue, Washington, formerly of Fredericktown. died at 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 14, 1998, in the Greenery Nursing Home, following a brief illness.
He was born May 14, 1909, in Fairfield, a son of John and Viola Sargeant Reeves.
Mr. Reeves was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church, a former trustee of the church and a member of the Mr. and Mrs. Class of the church.
He was a meat cutter and was formerly employed by A.G. Paul Store; Washington Meat Market, South Main Street, Washington; and Pennington (N.J.) Quality Meat Market, where he was employed from 1962 until 1976 when he retired.
Mr. Reeves was life member of BPOE Lodge 776.
He attended Barr School, Ulery School and East Bethlehem High School.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army with the 251st Combat Engineers, landing on Omaha Beach and continuing on to Berlin, Germany.
On August 26, 1954, he was united in marriage to Isabelle Martin Reeves, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Eileen L. Maczko of Tacoma, Wash; a brother, Kenneth Reeves of Millsboro; two grandchildren, Lawrence Booze and Darla Mylan; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are a granddaughter, Linda Shimet; a sister, Louise Thomas; and two brothers, Sheldon Reeves, who died in infancy, and Earnest Reeves.
Cheryl E. Thomas
Stewardess for TWA
Cheryl Elizabeth Thomas, 53, of Grants Pass, Ore., died Saturday, December 12, 1998, at Three Rivers Hospital-Washington Campus.
She was born August 16, 1945, in Fairmont, W.Va.
Mrs. Thomas attended college in California and graduated with a degree in accounting.
In her early years, she worked as a stewardess for TWA and later as a supervisor to train other stewardesses and as a county auditor in Ojai, Calif. In 1991, in Ojai, she worked for Ken Roberts Co. and transferred with the company to Grants Pass in 1993, and was course member relations manager at the time of her death.
Surviving are her mother, Arlene Perkins of Washington D.C.; four brothers, Robert Perkins of Glendora, Calif., Roscoe Perkins of Marlboro, Md., Garry Perkins of Washington, D.C., and Allan Perkins of Springfield, Va.; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Joseph G. Veraldi, 84, of Mound Street, Monongahela, died Tuesday, December 15, 1998, in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born September 30, 1914, in Gallatin, a son of Battista and Margaret Turri Veraldi.
Mr. Veraldi worked for 45 years as a manager for A&P Grocery Stores, retiring from the Rostraver A&P in 1975.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II and receiving three Bronze stars, the Purple Heart and the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Veraldi was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Monongahela, a former member of its parish council, a member of the former Italian Citizens Club of Monongahela, Suttman-Yohe Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1409 of Monongahela and American Legion Post 302.
Surviving are a son, Joseph B. Veraldi of Monongahela; a daughter, Harriet A. Player of Fayetteville, N.C.; a stepson, Louis Ferrello of Sugarloaf; a sister, Margaret L. Pizzutelli of Monongahela; two grandchildren, Kelly Jo Augustin and Sean Burnett; four step-grandchildren, Melissa, Alex, Katie and Megan Ferrello; and a great-grandson.
Deceased are his wife, Jennie Jozefczyk, who died May 4, 1968; and his second wife, Mary C. Ferrello, who died December 28, 1996.

Irene Krall, 74, of Strabane, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Home, Washington.
She was born October 31, 1924, in Midland, Chartiers Township, a daughter of Stanley and Mary Novotski Kaminski.
Mrs. Krall was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg, and its Christian Mothers.
She spent her entire life in the Midland and Strabane areas, where she was a 50-year member of St. Jerome KSKJ Lodge 153 of Strabane and a member of the North Strabane Township ladies auxiliary.
Mrs. Krall retired from Canonsburg Pottery in 1975, where she worked for 20 years, and was a election pollworker for many years.
On June 16, 1946, she married Joseph E. Krall, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Maria Lorensen of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two grandchildren, William and Lauree Lorensen; many nieces and nephews; and a brother, Lawrence Kaminski of Canonsburg;
Deceased are four brothers, Frank, Harry, Chester and Charles Kaminski; and two sisters, Marcella Mavrich and Stella Casper.

Mike Modrick, 83, of Crucible, died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 30, 1915, in Pittsburgh, a son of John and Mary Bublic Modrick.
Mr. Modrick lived in Crucible since 1925, and worked at Crucible Fuel Co. and Grumman Allied, Carmichaels.
On June 27, 1936, he married Ada M. Buskirk, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, John A. and Edward M. Modrick, both of Carmichaels, and Donald M. Modrick of San Antonio; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Vivian Mowl, 85, of Davis School Road, Washington, died Sunday, December 13, 1998, at her home, following a brief illness.
She was born February 24, 1913, in Moundsville, W.Va., a daughter of Frank and Olive Marshall Fullen.
Mrs. Mowl worked as a practical nurse at Hillsview Sanitarium and later did private duty work. She retired in 1978.
Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie Ellis of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a brother, Harold McMullen of McKees Rocks; and a sister, Margaret Chunderlik of Indianapolis, Ind.
Deceased are her husband, Allen "Jake" Mowl; and brothers, Eugene, Edward and Walter McMullen.

David D. Roney
Former Claysville resident was civil engineer
David D. Roney, 66, a 28-year resident of Pleasanton, Calif., formerly of Claysville, died Friday, December 11, 1998, in Pleasanton.
He was born November 3, 1932, in Washington, a son of Charles and Rosa Dunlap Roney.
Mr. Roney was a member of Presbyterian Community Church in Pleasanton.
A 1951graduate of Claysville High School, he received his bachelor of science degree from Penn State University in 1955.
He served in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers and was stationed in England.
Mr. Roney was employed as a civil engineer with CBI Services for 42 years, until his retirement in 1995.
He enjoyed hiking and traveling.
On June 20, 1964, in New Albany, Ind., he married Constance M. Fendall, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Collette E. and Heather L. Roney, both of Washington, D.C.; a brother, John Edwin Roney of Claysville; a sister, Dorothy Curtis of Cincinnati, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra L. Sowden

Sandra L. Smith Sowden, 56, of Carmichaels, died Tuesday, December 15, 1998, in Greene Count Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.
She was born January 28, 1942, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Joseph T. Smith and Elizabeth Hudock Smith Huntley.
Mrs. Sowden was Apostolic.
Surviving are two children, Betty Jo Anderson and Charles F. Workman, both of Dilliner; a granddaughter, Jamie DeWitt; three sisters, Elsie Workman of Elyria, Ohio, Donna L. Jarrell of Greensboro and Noreen Huntley of Wickliffe, Ohio.

Paul Vanzin
Steelworker at Universal Cyclops
Paul "Nip" Vanzin, 80, of Muse, formerly of Beadling, died Tuesday, December 15, 1998, at his home.
He was born September 21, 1918, in Beadling, a son of Daniel and Pauline Della Longa Vanzin.
Mr. Vanzin was a steelworker for 40 years at Universal Cyclops, Bridgeville.
During World War II, he served as a U.S. Army engineer.
For many years, he played for the well-known Beadling soccer team.
He was a member of the Italian Club in Bridgeville and Muse Italian Club, and enjoyed reading.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl Pesa Vento; two sons David Vanzin of Franklin, Tenn., and Thomas Vanzin of Bernville; a sister, Mary Vanzin of Beadling; and a brother, Louis Vanzin of Upper St. Clair.
Deceased are two sisters, Lena and Ann Vanzin; four brothers, Fred, Dan, Albert and John Vanzin; and two grandsons, Jacob and Domenic Vanzin.

She was born January 31, 1919, in Jackson Township, Greene County, a daughter of Ira and Mattie Martin Morris.
Mrs. Wood was a lifetime resident of Greene County, where she attended Holbrook Christian Church.
She attended school in Jackson Township and was employed for 34 years as a garment worker at Greenway Manufacturing Co.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Main Richards of Waynesburg; two grandsons, Rick and Michael Richards; three granddaughters, Cathi Rizor, Jeanie Patton and Peggie Richards; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was born March 29, 1953, in Pittsburgh, a daughter Nick Pleska of Avella, and Zenaide M. Coleman Pleska, who died August 21, 1991.
Mrs. Boyd was employed as a secretary for U.S. Steel Corp.'s UEC Division for the past 24 years.
She was United Methodist and attended Eldersville United Methodist Church.
On June 20, 1997, she married James David Boyd, who survives.
Surviving are two sisters, Zenaide M. Karlsberg of Denver, Colo., and Donna K. Caffardo of Avella; a brother, Nick C. Pleska of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Hritz Buber

Mary Hritz Buber, 93, of Millsboro, died at 12:11 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.
She was born December 29, 1904, in Scranton, a daughter of John and Anna Hritz.
Mrs. Buber was a 1926 graduate of Preston Retreat Nursing School in Philadelphia and was a practicing midwife in the area until 1950. In 1950, she was the office nurse for Dr. Thomas E. Morgan in Fredericktown for 26 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Margarette Hausher of Brownsville R.D.1, Maulden, with whom she made her home; three grandchildren, Glenn and John Newport and Georgianne McLellan; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her husband, George Buber, who died in 1950; a daughter, Helen Newport, who died in 1992; two brothers, John and Mike Hritz; and three sisters, Anna Krall, Helen Bado and Margaret Phillips.

Florence W. Flanders, 85, of Green Street, California, died at 3:25 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 1998, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.
She was born November 7, 1913, in West Pike Run Township, a daughter of John Frank and Harriett Chew Wright.
Mrs. Flanders was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Coal Center.
In 1974, she retired as a schoolteacher for California Area School District after 39 years of service.
Mrs. Flanders was a graduate of California High School and California University of Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Pennsylvania State Education Association.
Surviving are two sisters, Harriet W. Johnson of Fredericktown and Helen W. Belski of California; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Eugene Flanders, who died September 5, 1974; and a brother, Henry Sherman Wright.
Arnold V. King

Arnold V. King, 89, of Holbrook R.D.1, Pine Bank, died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, following a lengthy illness.
He was born December 3, 1909, in Gilmore Township, Greene County, a son of William Franklin and Mary Ellen Cole King.
Mr. King attended Pine Bank United Methodist Church and had resided in Gilmore Township all of his life.
He formerly was employed as a farm laborer for William "Hell-Bent" Lewis for several years and had served one term as road supervisor for Gilmore Township prior to his retirement.
Mr. King was a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge in Waynesburg, and a former member of Knights of Pythias Lodge in Pine Bank.
Mr. King was first married to Ardath Kiger, who died March 21, 1966, and later married Edna Louise Scott Graham, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Simpson of Newton Falls, Ohio; a son, Bill King of Andover, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Cassie Irey of Amity; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; six stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
Mr. King was the last of his immediate family.
Deceased is a brother, Orville King, who died in infancy.

Betty Jo Land, 57, of Holiday, Fla., died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Born in Bailey, N.C., she moved to Florida three years ago from Lone Pine, where she had been the owner of Land's Personal Care Home.
She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, New Port Richey, Fla., and a member of its Chicken Soup Group.
Surviving are three daughters, Deborah Sanders of Prosperity, Kimberly Hempe of Holiday and Michelle Land of Washington; two brothers, Dallas and Melvin Glover, both of North Carolina; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 19, at First United Methodist Church, New Port Richey.

She was born October 6, 1917, in West Union, Doddridge County, W.Va., a daughter of William and Vally Jones Husk.
Mrs. Ross was a homemaker.
In 1983, she retired from the West Virginia Department of Human Services, Marion County office, after working 10 years as an economic service worker.
On June 8, 1936, she married Lawrence Porter Ross, who died May 5, 1974.
Surviving are three daughters, Carla Kelley of Rices Landing, Charlotte Diane Blackshire and Pattie Augustus, both of Fairmont; two brothers, William Husk of Jacksonville, Fla., and Donald Husk of Tallmadge, Ohio; two sisters, Bonnie Bennett of Idamay, W.Va., and Eloise Heckard of Stow, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michael Dohanich, John Francis Blackshire III, Joey and Scott Blackshire and Tom Augustus II; two great-granddaughters; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

George Rice Jr.
U.S. Army veteran of Korean War
George Rice Jr., 62, of Oaks, died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, Montgomery Hospital, Norristown, after a brief illness.
He was born April 11, 1936, in Jefferson, a son of the late George Patrick and Grace Madlock Rice.
Mr. Rice retired as a machinist for the former Nicolet Industries in Norristown after working 22 years. He also worked for four years for Jet Short of Oaks until his retirement in 1998.
He was a 1954 graduate of Jefferson High School.
Mr. Rice was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Roseanne Reeves; two sons, Ronald Rice of Mather, and Howard Rice of Washington; two daughters, Zoe Lynn DeCaro of North Coventry, and Brenda Rice of Washington; three stepsons, Clark Emel Jr. of Trooper, Donald A. Emel of Norristown, and Raymond L. Emel of Conshohocken; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Rice Sr. of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Donald Rice of Eagleville; and three nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Patricia Constance Rice.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 19, at Limerick Garden of Memories, Good Shepard Mausoleum, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick.

Pete Semonick
Retired coal miner was WW II veteran
Pete Semonick, 76, of Waynesburg R.D.1, died at 2:03 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 1998, in his home.
Mr. Semonick was born May 19, 1922, in Tower Hill 2, a son of Andrew and Mary Berish Semonick.
He graduated from Redstone Township High School and was a resident of Isabella before moving to Waynesburg in 1991.
Mr. Semonick was a retired coal miner from the Mathies Coal Co./National Mines. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II on the USS Carol DE171 destroyer and USS Shangrala aircraft.
Mr. Semonick was a member of UMWA Local 2244 and National Slovak Society Lodge 133. He was Catholic.
On July 6, 1948, he married Mary Jane Garkovich Semonick, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Melanie Semonick Dufalla of Waynesburg, Dianna Semonick Maglas of Filbert, Cheryl Semonick Chedester of Waynesburg and Karla Semonick of Smock; a son, Richard Semonick of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Kenny Dufalla, David Dufalla, Carlo Maglas, Erik Maglas and Tara Chedester; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Elizabeth Semonick Taylor of Tower Hill 2.
Deceased are three sisters, Mary Semonick Kurishko, Susanna Semonick Ference and Margaret Semonick; and four brothers, John Semonick, George Semonick, Andrew Semonick and Steve Semonick.

Mary E. Tennant
Worked for Association of the Blind
Mary E. Tennant, 85, of 154 North College Street, Washington, died Thursday, December 17, 1998.
She was born March 11, 1913, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of Walter R. and Anna K. McClelland Barkman.
Mrs. Tennant was employed as a bolt assembler by Pennsylvania Association of the Blind for 19 years. He also worked in the sewing, tracheotomy and suture kit assembly departments.
She was a member of Methodist Episcopal Church in Waynesburg.
Mrs. Tennant had attended Waynesburg High School and also nurse's training in the old city hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
She enjoyed reading and cooking, and loved music until her loss of hearing.
On August 25, 1932, she married Paul W. Peters, who died February 22, 1970.
On October 13, 1944, she married Guy E. Tennant, who died May 18, 1983.
Surviving are two children from her first marriage, Myra D. Hatfield and Ruby A. Calvert, both of Washington; three children from her second marriage, James L. Tennant Sr., Guyla Schnore and Guy E. Tennant Jr., all of Washington; 18 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Deceased are a daughter, Charlene Anne Peters; a brother, Charles Walter Barkman; and a stepgrandson, Michael Schnore.
Angeline V. Toth

Angeline Veronica Toth, 79, of Canonsburg, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 1998, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Home, Washington.
She was born November 6, 1919, in Washington, a daughter of William and Katherine Magnetta Scalzi.
Mrs. Toth was member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church of Canonsburg.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Canonsburg for the last 50 years.
Before her retirement in 1992, Mrs. Toth worked as a presser for 25 years at G.F. Cleaners in Canonsburg.
On May 20, 1945, she married John Toth, who died March 28, 1988.
Surviving are a son, John A. Toth of Canonsburg; a daughter, Carol Frantz of London, England; a brother, John Scalzi of Washington; three sisters, Louise Urso, Rose Tiano and Lucille Nendicino, all of Washington; a grandson, Gregory Toth; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Sam Scalzi.

Kathryn Wamsley
Waynesburg homemaker
Kathryn Wamsley, 73, of 645 East Greene Street, Waynesburg, died of an apparent heart attack Thursday, December 17, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 11, 1925, in Dunbar, a daughter of Mary Beals.
Mrs. Wamsley was a homemaker.
She was a former resident of Brock, and had lived in Waynesburg, for the past five years.
Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy Strawser of Waynesburg, with whom she made her home, and Rebecca Blake of Rogersville; a son, Donald R. Wamsley of Greensboro; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wamsley was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased is her husband, Francis C. Wamsley, who died January 11, 1984.

Ida Blank, 79, of Erie Mine, died Friday, December 19, 1998, in Washington County Health Center.
She was born November 18, 1919, in Burgettstown, a daughter of Frank and Florence Gaido Blank.
Prior to retirement, Miss Blank was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad and Vimco Co. in Carnegie.
Surviving is a brother, Fred Blank of Palm Harbour, Fla.
Deceased is a brother, Frank Blank.
Clyde W. Clayton

Clyde W. "Sonny" Clayton Jr., 63, of Waynesburg R.D.2, died Thursday, December 17, 1998, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.
Mr. Clayton was born November 7, 1935, in West Brownsville, a son of Clyde W. Sr. and Rose Grimm Clayton.
He was a retired maintenance worker for Affiliated Hospital Products in Massillon, Ohio; and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in Korea. He was Methodist.
On June 10, 1962, he married Eileen Hughes Clayton, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Debbie Bonfine of Canton, Ohio; two sons, Greg Clayton of Massillon and John Clayton of Colton, Calif.; four grandchildren; and five sisters, Margaret Halsey of Jefferson, Mary Lou Lemley of Waynesburg, Donna Lee Logston of Jefferson, Patricia Susan Bell of New Freeport and Dorothy May Adamson of Waynesburg.
Deceased are a sister, Irene E. Hopkins; and two brothers, Robert Allen Clayton and George A. Clayton.
