She was born Jan. 20, 1928 to the late Jetter and Nettie (Sampson) Locklear.
She was retired as school food service director for Northern York County School District and enjoyed oil painting and gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Stewart R. Trout Sr.; two stepsons, Stewart R. Jr. and Seth B., both of Lancaster; a sister, Lois Locklear of Romulus, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Locklear.
A memorial service was held Nov. 9 in Incarnation United Church of Christ, Newport.
Myers Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.

FREDA M. CARWELL
She was born Aug. 1, 1913 in Cocolamus, Juniata County, to the late Levi P. and Annie (Amey) Spade.
Until her retirement in 1975, she was employed as a seamstress for L. Shellenberger and son, McAlisterville, and Lyons Fashions, McAlisterville; and attended McAlisterville United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Paul H. Carwell, who died Jan. 13, 1993.
Surviving are a son, Donald M. Spade of Millerstown; a daughter, Phyllis A. Graham of McAlisterville; a sister, Ruth Naylor of McAlisterville; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul M. Carwell, who died Dec. 12, 1996; a brother, Marlin Spade; and three sisters, Verda Stuck, Mary Moad and Dorothy Seiler.
Services were held Nov. 8 in Brown Funeral Home, McAlisterville, with the Rev. Dr. Karl R. Herman and Rev. James A. Neimond Jr. officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, McAlisterville.

DOROTHY J. FADZEN
She was a legal secretary and had worked in the legal department of J&L Steel Co., Pittsburgh and was a volunteer for the SIDS Foundation.
She was the widow of Samuel Fadzen.
Surviving are a son, Scott W. of Sewickley; a daughter, Sharon M. Weaver, with whom she lived; a brother, Harry W. Sauselein Jr. of Ingomar; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Nov. 30 at the home of Scott Fadzen in Butler.
Musselman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Lemoyne, is handling arrangements.
WILLIAM L. HAULTER
He was born Dec. 2, 1952 in Newburg to the late Bruce L. Haulter and Thetta Brougher Haulter Sollenberger.
He was employed by Penske Leasing, Carlisle; a 1970 graduate of Big Spring High School, Newville; and an Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his fiance, Dorthy M. Spidle; a sister, Rhoda M. Baer of Newville; a brother, K. Lee Brougher of Carlisle; two nieces, Rhonda Hartzell and LeAnn Ream; and a nephew, Kenneth Brougher.
A memorial service was held Nov. 10 in Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Mt. Holly Springs, with the Rev. John D. Schier-Hanson officiating.

REV. PAUL W. CASE
He was born July 23, 1927 in Cattaragus County, N.Y. to the late Willis and Marguerite Case
He served churches in New Kingston, Colonial Park, Harrisburg, Newport and Millerstown; was formerly the purchasing adviser for the former Department of Public Instruction; business teacher in Mathews County High School, Mathews, Va., Conewago Joint High School, East Berlin, and Carlisle High School; an Army veteran of World War II; a graduate of Limestone High School, Limestone, N.Y., Grove City College, Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary and earned a master of science degree in counseling from Shippensburg University; and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Millerstown.
Surviving are his wife, Olive Webb Case; two daughters, Carol J. Case of Etters and Linda I. Hildabrand of Mechanicsburg; a son, David A. of Gettysburg; a sister, Doris Billings of Allegany, N.Y.; a brother, Stewart D. of Oil City; seven grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton.
Services were held Nov. 9 in his church with the Rev. Peter Kuebler officiating. Burial was Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.

WILLIAM L. CHUBB
He was born Sept. 22, 1919 in Juniata County to the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Helwig) Chubb.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., Steelton, after 30 years of employment; attended Watts Twp. Wesleyan Church, Duncannon RR 4; and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was the widower of Viola Margaret Lowe Chubb, who died July 19, 1994.
Surviving are four sons, William F. and Phillip M., both of Duncannon RR 4, Arthur J. of Lewisberry and Paul C. of Marysville; two sisters, Hilda Strawser of Mifflintown and Lenore Kumler of Duncannon RR 4; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Louise Clouser, who died Nov. 30, 1993; a brother, Lee; and two sisters, Miriam Seaman and Flavie Carson.
Services were held Nov. 9 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Brian Coral officiating. Burial, with military honors by Liverpool American Legion Post 364, was in Hill Church Cemetery, Duncannon RR 4.
THEODORE W. HULL
He was born Nov. 17, 1929 in Alinda to the late Richard and Jennie (Kiner) Hull.
He was retired from General Electric Company; a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War; a 1949 graduate of Green Park Union High School; a Catholic; a life member of DAV West Shore 50; a senior member of Dauphin County Anglers and Conservationists Club; a member of American Legion 340, Duncannon, and Dauphin-Middle Paxton Fire Company 1; a former member of Dauphin Athletic Association; and enjoyed hiking.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Margie R. Fagotti Hull; four sons, Richard W. of Laguna Hills, Calif., Robert J. of Harrisburg, Randall M. of Halifax and Ronald J. of Dauphin; a sister, Margaret Noel of Carlisle; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 8 in Zimmerman Auer Funeral Home, Harrisburg. Burial, with military honors, was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dauphin.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dauphin County Anglers and Conservationists Club, 201 Clark’s Valley Road, Dauphin 17018.
DOROTHEA L. MUNDIE
Surviving are her husband, Mitchell Mundie; three daughters, Diana Rupert and Christina Pratt, both of Enola, and Brenda Cummings of Duncannon; two sisters, Mary E. Sites of Enola and Esther Himmelberger of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

CLARA E. WOLF
She was retired from Specialty Bakers, Marysville; the oldest member of Glenvale Church of God, Marysville, where she was a member of Senior Life; and a member of Marysville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Marysville Golden Age Club and Rye Twp. Community Association Ladies Auxiliary.
She was the widow of Harry R. Wolf Sr.
Surviving are a son, Harry R. Jr. of Enola; a daughter, Freda K. Epler of Marysville; three sisters, Ruth Gingrich and Nellie Varner, both of Marysville, and Sarah Jane Kurtz of Newport; two brothers, Edgar Wolf and Lester Wolf, both Marysville; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 11 in her church. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

JAMES P. KLINGENSMITH
He retired as a colonel from the Army, Artillery Branch, after 30 years of service, having participated in campaigns in South Korea and Vietnam. His military awards included the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal with Bronze Service Star, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.
He had built his own home and was a maker of fine cabinetry.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma J. Klingensmith; three daughters, Diana L. Dewell of Tenino, Wash., Paula J. Brightbill of Harrisburg and Sherie L. McTigue of Winter Park, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, Veronica, Nicolle, Jennifer and Erika Fogarty, Dana and James Bryan, Crystal and Brooke Dewell, Michael Brightbill, John McTigue; and a great-granddaughter, Molly Ith.
Burial was in Arlington National Cemetery.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.
MERVIN L. WITMER
He was born Aug. 17, 1915 in Humbold, Iowa to the late Herbert L. and Emily H. Witmer.
He was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad and then worked part-time for Aline Quarry, Mechanicsburg; a graduate of John Harris High School; an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of Young’s United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg.
He was the widower of Agnes M. Fuller Witmer.
Surviving are a sister, Emily Sholley of Oak Hill, Fla., and a sister-in-law, Esther Witmer of Carlisle.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert L. Witmer II and Gerald G. Witmer Sr.
Services were held Nov. 12 in his church with the Rev. Ronald C. Hoffman officiating. Burial was in Stone Church Cemetery, Enola.

EMMA E. MCCLINTOCK
She was born Sept. 16, 1909 in West Pennsboro Twp. to the late Addison and Sarah (Bear) Wolf.
She retired from the Crystal & Garment Factory of Carlisle and also was a cook for Carroll Elementary School, Shermans Dale; and a member of Young’s United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale, Orchid Club and Shermans Dale Fire Company.
She was the widow of John McClintock.
Surviving are a son, Larry A. of Shermans Dale; a sister, Mildred Morrison; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three infant sons and a daughter, Betty Thompson.
Services were held Nov. 12 in her church with the Rev. N. Jefferson Brewster officiating. Burial was in Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery, Shermans Dale.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.
