She was born Nov. 5, 1910 in Newport to the late William and Eldora (Kistler) Adams.
She had worked for the former Newberry store in Newport; attended the former Calvary United Methodist Church; was a life member of Newport Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the ladies auxiliary of American Legion Post 177 and William H. Saylor VFW Post 34, both of Newport; and participated for many years in the Perry County and Pennsylvania Senior Games and an avid bowler for more than 40 years.
She was the widow of Sherman R. DeLancey.
Surviving are two sons, A. Louis of Newport and Francis A. of Smethport; a grandson, Andy DeLancey; and a great-grandson, Sam DeLancey.
Services were held Feb. 4 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

FLORENCE J.M. FASICK
She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses of the Halifax congregation.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, William D. Fasick; a daughter, Beatrice J. Banic of Harrisburg; two sons, William D. Jr. of Red Lion and Dave W. of Carlisle; a sister, Beatrice Sinniger of Harrisburg; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Albert, and a grandson, Nicholas Fasick.
Services were held Feb. 5 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
MIRIAM E. EARNST
She was born April 27, 1922 in Shermans Dale to the late Grover C. and Elizabeth S. (Gutshall) Barrick.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale.
She was the widow of Raymond L. Kitner, who died in 1966, and Rev. Clarence L. Earnst, who died in 1992.
Surviving are four sons, Gerald L. and Carl R., both of New Bloomfield, Dale W. of New Cumberland and Raymond L. Jr. of Shermans Dale; a stepson, William Earnst of Shermans Dale; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Gilbert of New York; two sisters, Helen Crum and Doris Morris, both of Shermans Dale; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 9 in her church with the Rev. Arthur Montgomery officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

NEIL L. TENNEY
He was born Aug. 21, 1925 in Renova to the late Orvil Bogue and Jessie (Lambert) Tenney.
He was an auditor for 37 1/2 years for the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury, Harrisburg, retiring in August of 1986, served as bookkeeper for the former Snyder Convalescent Home, Liverpool, for many years, did watch repairs at his home, along with preparing federal, state and local tax forms for local people; a 1944 graduate of Shenley High School, Pittsburgh, and graduated from a watch repair school in Pittsburgh; a Protestant; an auditor for Liverpool Twp. for five years; a member of Liverpool Ambulance League, Liverpool Fire Company and American Diabetes Association; and enjoyed sports, the outdoors and hunting.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Geneva R. Linn Tenney; a son, Allen C. of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Virginia M. “Ginger” Tenney, at home, and Sandra L. Alleman of Liverpool; a brother, Roger of Reno, Nev.; and four grandchildren, Jon N. Tenney, Cody A. Alleman, Casi-Jo Alleman and Elissa N. “Nicki” Alleman.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Tenney and Marjorie Carson.
Services were held Jan. 28 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Lisa Klinger officiating. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.

HELEN P. FOY
She was a homemaker.
She was the widow of Stanton E. Foy.
Surviving are three sons, Donald G. of Duncannon, Douglas E. of Marysville and Craig A. of New Cumberland; a sister, Shirley Waltman of Kelso, Wash.; two brothers, Harry C. Horton of Vero Beach, Fla., and Ronald D. Horton of Sebring, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 9 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville.

WILLIAM B. SNYDER
He was employed by J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. as a driver; a graduate of Susquenita High School, where he was an outstanding football player and wrestler; attended the University of Pittsburgh; and had played semi-pro football with the Harrisburg Cowboys and Chambersburg Cardinals.
In addition to his father, surviving are his wife, Pamela Snyder; a stepson, Anthony L. Etnoyer, at home; and two brothers, Frank L. Jr. and Richard S., and a sister, Cynthia L. Daub, all of Duncannon.
A memorial service was held Feb. 8 in Christ Lutheran Church, Duncannon, with the Rev. Paul L. Blank officiating.

MARIE G. SWARTZ
She was born March 26, 1917 in Pennsylvania.
She was employed for many years by a nursing association in Harrisburg as an administrative secretary, and had owned and operated the former Queens Inn in the Summerdale/Enola area; a graduate of a business school in Philadelphia; associated with Halls (Zion) Lutheran Church, Port Trevorton RR 1; and a member of Liverpool Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
She was the widow of Charles E. Blythe and Paul K. Swartz, who died Aug. 28, 1977.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Leslie Crane of Liverpool and Lynne R. Skopatz of Middleburg; five stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and a longtime friend, Marie Zeager of Middletown.
A memorial service was held Feb. 12 in Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with the Rev. Timothy W. Bingman officiating. Burial was in Richfield Union Cemetery.

BETTY R. LAUVER
She was born Oct. 25, 1928 in Ickesburg to the late David and Margaret Paden.
Surviving are her husband, Robert E. Lauver Sr.; four stepchildren, Robert E. Lauver Jr. of York, Betty M. Setlak of Harrisburg, Rick L. Lauver of York and Brian K. Lauver of Harrisburg; a sister, Mae Urich of Liverpool; 12 stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 10 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Burial was in Duncannon Cemetery.
C. DALE WATTS
He was born in New Germantown to the late Russel and Edna (Wilson) Watts.
He was retired from New Standard Corp., Mount Joy, where he was a truck driver, previously had operated a general farm for Ira Hess Farms of East Donegal Twp., and earlier in life worked for the former Shibley Grocery Store in Florin; a 1936 graduate of Blain High School; a 60-year member of Maytown Church of God, a life member of Mount Joy Sportsmen’s Association, where he served as secretary for many years, and belonged to Conewago Rod and Gun Club and Elstonville Sportsmen’s Association; and an ardent outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting for deer, small game and shooting sports, especially trap and skeet.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Alice L. Shuman Watts; two daughters, Arly Brown of Camp Hill and SuAnn Giles of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Welcomer and Mabel Mayers; a brother, Lynn; and two grandsons.
Services were held Jan. 31 in Sheetz Funeral Home, Mount Joy, with the Rev. Richard Miller officiating. Burial was in Mount Joy Cemetery.

KENNETH M. SPADE SR.
He was born Jan. 16, 1932 in Juniata County to the late Charles and Catherine (Sweigart) Spade.
He had been a farmer, an attendant for the Harrisburg State Hospital, and a painter and wall paperer for Roy Womer of Mt. Pleasant Mills. He and his brother, Raymond, operated Spade Brothers painting business for many years. He retired from Carpenters Local 287, Harrisburg, in 1992.
He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Millerstown RR 2, and Richfield Ambulance League; and enjoyed carpentry and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Arlene Ruth Knouse Spade; two sons, Kenneth M. Jr. and Carl R., both of Richfield RR 2; five daughters, Evelyn L. Hockenbroch of Richfield, Wanda A. Brookhart of Liverpool, Rosemary K. Doak of Colorado Springs, Colo., Darlene M. Lauver of Buffalo, Wyo., and Sharon I. Tittle of Middleburg; a brother, Raymond of Liverpool RR 1; two sisters, Edna Jones of Middletown and Catherine Pannebaker of Thompsontown RR 1; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, Charles, John, Edward, Earl, twins Robert and Paul, and Arol; four sisters, Maude L. Reynolds, Emma Minium, May L. Spade and Ida Portzline; and a great-granddaughter, Hope Hannah Rhoads.
Services were held Feb. 3 in Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with the Revs. Brittin F. Stimeling and James A. Neimond officiating. Burial was in his church’s Cemetery.
C. NATHAN CRULL
He was born Dec. 3, 1952 in Carlisle to the late Charles D. and Mary K. (Burtnett) Crull.
He was employed at Superior Metal Works, Carlisle, and had worked at the former Capital Products Corp., Mechanicsburg; a 1970 graduate of West Perry High School; and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth C. of Ft. Drum, N.Y.; a daughter, Nichole S. Crull of Enola; his fiance, Lois F. Ayres of Landisburg; a brother, Daniel E. Burtnett of New Bloomfield; and two sisters, Salli K. McMillan of Landisburg and Diane E. Gray of Carlisle.
A graveside service was held Feb. 15 in Landisburg Cemetery with the Rev. Lewis D. Splain Jr. officiating.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.

ERNEST A. EATON
He was born April 29, 1912 in Kistler to the late T. Lynn and Mary Alice (Gray) Eaton.
He retired in 1975 as a welder and night foreman for Trailco Corporation, Hummels Wharf, and had owned and operated a bus service for Middleburg Joint High School and Selinsgrove School; educated at Waterloo High School and had attended Pennsylvania Bible Institute, Philadelphia; a Navy veteran of World War II; was a member of Richfield Mennonite Church and formerly a member of Grubb’s Lutheran Church, Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 1, where he taught Sunday school classes, and Whispering Hollow Hunting Camp, Troxelville; and enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, ice skating, walking. bike riding and raising horses.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Viola Murfin Eaton; two sons, John P. of Mukwonago, Wis., and Douglas E. of Middleburg RR 3; a daughter, D. Lucille Leitzel of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 1; a foster son, Howard Donaldson of Hampton, Va.; a sister, Freda Shoop of East Waterford; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Ronald, who died Feb. 5, 1990; and five brothers, William, Russell, Melvin, Glenness and Raymond.
Services were held Feb. 15 in his church with pastor Jerry R. O’Connell officiating. Burial was in Richfield Union Cemetery.

JAMES T. TROUTMAN
He was born Jan. 25, 1932 in Millerstown to the late James H. and Kathryn (Beaver) Troutman.
He had a long teaching career at Big Spring High School, Newville, in vocational agriculture, general science and driver education; was a 1950 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1954 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, University Park; a member of Pfoutz Valley United Methodist Church, Millerstown, Perry County Farmers Association, Tennis Lodge 371, F&AM, Thompsontown, Juniata Valley Forest 88, Tall Cedars, Newport Royal Arch Chapter 238, Harrisburg Consistory and a life member of Penn State Alumni Association; and enjoyed operating the family farm in Pfoutz Valley.
Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Sheaffer Troutman; two sons, Michael of Mechanicsburg and Jeffrey of Linglestown; two daughters, Debra Harding of Camp Hill and Barbara Schuler of Kensington, Md.; a sister, Kathryn Gebhardt of Stuart, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
Burial was in St. Michaels Cemetery, Millerstown.
