Minnie Mae Hoffman, 91, of Mulberry Street, Newport, died Thursday, July 2, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Feb. 6, 1907 in Pottsville to the late William and Bertha (Radamaker) Hoffman.
She was a retired practical nurse and a member of Newport Church of God.
Surviving are a nephew, David Haines of Newport, and a niece, Minnie Pifer of Harrisburg.
Services were held July 6 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Brand Eaton officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Mildred V. Hammaker, 93, of Chestnut Street, Marysville, died Monday, July 27, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She retired from the former J.R. Manufacturing Co., Marysville, and the former Duncannon Shirt and Dress factories; was a member of the former International Ladies Garment Workers Union; and a former member of Logania Church of God.
She was the widow of Harry A. Hammaker.
Surviving are two sons, Harry R. of Marysville and Jackson R. of Enola; a daughter, Janet R. McCann of Marysville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 31 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.

Pauline E. Holmes, 89, of ManorCare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Camp Hill, formerly of Harrisburg, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Nov. 2, 1908 in Susquehanna Twp., Dauphin County, to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Peiffer) Fox.
She formerly worked for Reeds Bakery and the Broad Street Market and was a member of Second United Church of Christ.
She was the widow of Stewart S. Holmes.
Surviving are three stepdaughters, Janet L. Cunkle and Lucille M. Maguire, both of Duncannon, and Mary E. Roden of Harrisburg; nine stepgrandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-granddaughter.
Services were held Sept. 23 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Thomas Springman officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.

Kathryn E. Herzog, 96, formerly of Enola, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Enola.
She was the widow of Henry H. Herzog. Surviving are a son, Richard L. of Enola; a daughter, Jeanette Dreese of Carlisle; a brother, Paul Nedig of Camp Hill; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in Shoop's Cemetery, Harrisburg. Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola, handled arrangements.

Paul R. Holley, 71, formerly of S. Fourth Street, Newport, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998 in Stonebridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Duncannon.
He was a retired railroader and a former social member of Newport VFW Post 34. He was the widower of Ruth M. Page Holley.
Surviving are three sons, Paul R. Lowmman of York Haven and Paul R. Page and Gary E. Page, both of Newport; three daughters, Debra Delancey of Newport, Cathy L. Spiglemeyer of Middleburg and Diana L. Mangle of Liverpool; seven brothers, Robert of New Bloomfield and Donald, James, Kenneth, David, Charles and Ralph, all of Newport; two sisters, Carrie Beers and Irene Rudy, both of Newport; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 4 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Ruth M. Holley, 61, of S. Fourth Street, Newport, died Thursday, May 28, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born Sept. 1, 1936 in Harrisburg to the late Harvey and Annabelle (Arnold) Page.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley Brethren in Christ Church, Elliottsburg.
Surviving are her husband, Paul R. Holley; two sons, Paul R. and Gary E. Page, both of Newport; three daughters, Debra Delancey of Newport, Cathy L. Spiglemeyer of Middleburg and Diana L. Mangle of Liverpool; a brother, Jack Arnold of Newport; a sister, Edna Kell of New Bloomfield; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 1 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Arthur Steckel officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Rhonda L. Hoffman, 46, of Newport RR 3 died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1998 at her Saville Twp. home.
She was born Jan. 19, 1952 in Lewistown. She was an employee of Pennsylvania Blue Shield; a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, Chapter 21 of Millerstown; and was secretary of the Eshcol Cemetery Association.
Surviving are a companion, Dean Losch; her parents, Lewis Sr. and Catherine Hockenberry Hoffman of Newport RR 3; four brothers, Lewis Jr. and David Sr., both of Newport RR 3, Terry of Shermans Dale and Roger of Millerstown; and a sister, Sherry Rudy of Newport.
Services were held Aug. 22 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Patricia Woolever officiating. Burial was in Eshcol Cemetery, Saville Twp.

Robert S. Hoffman, 77, of Oneida Street, Harrisburg, formerly of New Bloomfield RR 1, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born June 28, 1920 in Enola to the late Samuel and Catherine (Walker) Hoffman.
He was a retired state employee and a former employee of York Building Products; a member of Moose Lodge 1526, Newport; and an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Irene Seig Hoffman; a stepson, Barry A. Demey of New Bloomfield RR 1; two sisters, Ruth Sheibley of Enola and Charlotte Wilson of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 3 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Michael Zang officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Stephen Lee Harris, 50, of Enola Road, Carlisle, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998 at Carlisle Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1948 in Millerstown.
He was employed by Roadway, Tannersville, and Yellow Freight, East Petersburg; a graduate of Chief Logan High School, Lewistown; a member of Lutheran Church, Brodheadsville, Central Pa. Teamsters Local 776, Yeagerstown Fire Company, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4294, Burnham; and a former member of F&AM Lodge 203, Lewistown.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Yohn Harris of Elliottsburg RR 2; two daughters, Caroline M. Schuyler of Texas and Mary A. Purcell of Lewistown; one son, Daniel W. Harris of Lewistown; his parents, Robert W. and Janet Loper Harris, with whom he lived; two brothers, Stuart A. Harris of Beaver Springs and Robert C. Harris of Lewistown; two sisters, Joy S. Manolis of Erie and Balerie J. Henry of Mt. Joy; and five granddaughters.
Services were held Oct. 2 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Miriam Nicholson officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
Stanley O. "Jim" Hawkins Sr., 66, of Cove Road, Duncannon, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born Nov. 13, 1931 in Harrisburg to Orville Hawkins of Harrisburg and the late Mary (Freeland) Hawkins.
He retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 520 and was a member of Perry County Old Iron Club.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Messner Hawkins; two sons, Stanley O. "Skip" Jr. and Richard J., both of Harrisburg; a daughter, Debbie E. Forsythe of Palmyra; a brother, Donald of Frostproof, Fla.; a sister, Virginia Cavrich of Camp Hill; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 29 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Bernard Fortna officiating. Burial was in Duncannon Cemetery.
