He was born April 20, 1933 in Walker Twp., Juniata County, to the late William E. Sr. and Jennie M. (Casner) Shearer.
He was a truck driver for Fultz Brothers, Elliottsburg, had driven school bus for Ron Bolze for several years and had farmed for 25 years; and was a member of Millerstown Loyal Order of Moose 925.
Surviving are his wife, Delores M. Berrier Shearer; two daughters, Susan A. Alleman of Elliottsburg and Nancy M. Shearer of Newville; two sons, William E. and Kenneth L., both of Elliottsburg; four brothers, Reynolds, Harold and Sam, all of Port Royal, and Paul of Doylesburg; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild.
Services were held May 28 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Revs. Keith Gutshall and Roz Mason officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Loysville.

MARY J. BAUMBACH
She was born June 10, 1926 in Hanover to Lily Bortner Aumon of Newport and the late S. Leo Aumon.
She retired from the Youth Development Center, Loysville; a graduate of Newport High School, where she was the school’s first majorette; a member of Newport VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 34 and Newport American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 177; and a former active volunteer with the March of Dimes and a volunteer for the Newport Moose Turkey Trot.
She was the widow of Walter F. “Snook” Baumbach.
In addition to her mother, surviving are four daughters, Deborah Yannone of Enola, Vicki Sykes of Omaha, Neb., Wendy Sheaffer of Newport and Jodie Eber of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Harry S. Aumon of Camp Hill; two sisters, Evelyn Cook of Newport and Ruthetta Wilt of Blain; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John. A. Aumon.
Services were held June 16 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Edward Baugh officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

GEORGE W. RADABAUGH
He was born Dec. 27, 1939 in Penn Twp. to the late George and Sarah (Idle) Radabaugh.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel, Steelton, where he worked for 36 years; an Army veteran; and a member of Steel Workers Union.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Morrison Radabaugh; a son, Brian L. of Newville; a daughter, Kim N. Dicks of Duncannon; four sisters, Ruth F. Bornman and Sarah “Sue” Harris, both of Duncannon, Betty J. Hartz of Dauphin and Iona J. Mayberry of Landisburg; a brother, Paul E. of Duncannon; two stepsisters, Betty B. Klinepeter and Mary Jane Smith, both of Duncannon; a stepbrother, Junior F. Baker of New Bloomfield; and two grandsons, Nathan L. Radabaugh and Zachary J. Dicks.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Roush, and a brother, Marlin.
Services were held June 18 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.

TERRY W. SHEIBLEY
He was born in Harrisburg to H. Dean Sheibley of Landisburg and the late Fae U. (Kistler) Sheibley.
He had worked as a dispatcher, terminal manager and over-the-road truck driver and was a former owner of income tax offices in Perry and Cumberland counties; a graduate of Green Park Union High School and the former Humboldt Institute in Minneapolis, Minn.; and a member of F&AM Lodge 781 Louther Manor, Harrisburg Consistory, Teamster Local 776, Harrisburg and Landisburg United Church of Christ, Bridgeport, and a social member of American Legion Post 109 and VFW Post 6709, both of Mechanicsburg.
In addition to his father, surviving are his wife, Sandra L. Cassel Sheibley; two sons, Michael W. and Gregg A., both of Mechanicsburg; a grandson, Mirco Sheibley of Germany; and three stepgranddaughters of Mechanisburg.
Services were held June 18 in Musselman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Lemoyne.

GEORGE J. ZERANCE
He was born March 28, 1918 in Bressler to the late Michael and Mary Zerance.
He was a retired carpenter; an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, New Bloomfield, VFW Post 7463, New Bloomfield, and DAV.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred I. Zerance; five sons, Larry of Verona, N.J., Thomas of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Patrick of Lutz, Fla., Kenny of Newport and Gerald of Elliottsburg; two sisters, Barbara Stoner of Hagerstown, Md., and Bertha Palese of Camp Hill; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held June 13 in his church. Burial, with military honors by New Bloomfield and Newport VFWs, was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

LUCILLE FRANK
She was born Feb. 25, 1932 in Kistler to Stanley Hench of Loysville and the late Evelyn (Stuber) Hench.
She was a member of Colonial Park United Church of Christ for more than 40 years, where she was active in the Fellowship Club and Edna Hoke Women’s Sunday School Class; a graduate of Blain High School and Thompson Institute; and enjoyed reading and crocheting until her later years.
She was the widow of Robert E. Frank, whom she met while working at New Idea Farm Equipment Company and married in 1957.
In addition to her father, surviving are a son, Jeffrey, and a daughter, Barbara A., both of Harrisburg; four brothers, Elwood and Dean Hench, both of Loysville, John Hench of Bellefonte, and Mark Hench of Mechanicsburg; and a grandson, Eddie Byas.
Services were held June 13 in her church with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Whitman officiating. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Zimmerman Auer Funeral Home, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

DOROTHY SPRACKLIN
She was a retired bookkeeper; a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Ickesburg, Ickesburg Lions Club and Perry Valley Grange, Millerstown, and had volunteered at Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Mix of Ponte Verde and Laura Spracklin of Bowie, Md.; a son, Glenn Jr.; two sisters and two brothers; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service was held June 7 in her church with the Rev. Paul Gehris officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 14, in Arlington National Cemetery.

JOHN E. WAGNER
He was born July 15, 1913 in Havice Valley, Mifflin County, to the late Herbert C. and Amanda C. (Romig) Wagner.
He was a self-employed farmer until his retirement in 1977; served as Walker Twp. supervisor for 30 years and served on the Juniata County Planning Commission; and a member of Centre Lutheran Church, Mifflintown RR 2, where he was a former Sunday school teacher, and Walker Grange 786.
He was the widower of M. Erma (Hackenberger) Wagner, who died July 15, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, Samuel R. of Elliottsburg RR 1 and James D. of Mifflintown RR 2; a son-in-law, James L. McClure of Dalmatia RR 1; a brother, Benjamin W. of Thompsontown RR 1; two sisters, Ruth P. Shank of Ohesson Manor, Lewistown, and Rachael R. Sauers of Levittown; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles; a daughter, Nancy C. McClure, who died Nov. 11, 2002; three brothers, George, Paul and James; and three sisters, Ada Bashore, Esther Ferrell and Miriam Henry.
Services were held June 16 in his church with the Rev. Louise L. Reynolds officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown RR 4.

BRIAN K. HOLLEY
He was born Nov. 19, 1968 in Camp Hill.
He was an employee of Overnight Transportation, Mechanicsburg; a member of Verhovay Home Association; and a Rusty Wallace fan, loved riding motorcycles with his wife and enjoyed yard work and hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Laraine K. Holley; a daughter, Ashley Holley of Newport; two stepdaughters, Trisha K. Campbell of Newport and Faren Campbell of New Bloomfield; his parents, Kenneth L. and Kathryn M. (Dorsey) Holley of Newport; four sisters, Kendra Holley of Elliottsburg, De’sa Little of Harrisburg and Kenja Dorsey and Keena Dorsey, both of Newport; a brother, Travis Dorsey; and three nieces and three nephews.
Services were held June 18 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Anthony C. Hill officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
JOYCE R. DOWELL
She was born Nov. 7, 1936 in Halifax to the late Dorothy Cooper.
She was a homemaker; of the United Methodist faith; and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 5750, Halifax.
Surviving are her husband, Harold E. Dowell; three sons, Harold R. of Mexico, Pa., Jeffrey A. of Etters and Steven E. of Liverpool; two daughters, Vicki Hufford of Newport and Becci J. Dowell of New Bloomfield; a sister, Jackie Martz of Halifax; six grandchildren, Todd, Cory, Alicia, Jaimmie, Matthew and Jessica; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 25 in Boyer Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Randall Goshorn officiating. Burial was in Long’s Cemetery, Halifax.

JAMES R. MAXWELL SR.
He was born Feb. 20, 1936 in Newport to the late Wilbur and Margaret (Brown) Maxwell.
He was retired from Carlisle Tire and Rubber; a member of Newport First Church of God; and an avid NASCAR and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Comp Maxwell; two sons, James R. Jr. of Uhrichsville, Ohio, and Robert E. of Marysville; two brothers, David of Newport and Charles of Idaho; a sister, Helen Dodge of Harrisburg; and a grandson, Michael Maxwell of Ft. Stewart, Ga.
Services were held June 20 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Cheryl Dorman officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

JOHN B. RINE
He was born Dec. 24, 1913 in McKees Half Falls, Snyder County, to the late Albert and Emma (Beale) Rine.
He retired from Harrisburg Autoparts; was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School; and a member of Duncannon Presbyterian Church, Adams Lodge 319, F&M, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine and Duncannon Sportsmen’s Association.
Surviving are his wife, Susanna Kepner Rine; two sisters, Rachel C. Taylor of Napa, Calif., and Gertrude J. Kallish of Philadelphia; and nieces and nephews.
Services were held June 23 in his church with the Rev. Dr. Krisana Poontajak officiating. Burial was in Hall’s Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Port Trevorton.
