She was born Oct. 19, 1908 in Fords, N.J. to the late William L. and Katherine (Peterson) Pearsall.
She was a retired assembly line worker for Westinghouse; a longtime member and treasurer of the Women’s Club of Fords, N.J.; an instructor for the senior citizen center in Woodbridge, N.J.; and an amateur painter.
She was the widow of Jacob L. Anderson.
Surviving are a son, Burleigh P. Anderson of Landisburg; a sister, Marion Petersen of Manchester, Conn.; three grandchildren, Timothy B. Anderson of Loysville, Elizabeth J. Anderson of Camp Hill and Karen M. Anderson of State College; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, at Carlisle Friends meeting, A Street.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.

ANN T. DRABENSTADT
She was a retired seamstress for the former Kate Greenaway Dress Company, Harrisburg, and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp.
She was the widow of George R. Drabenstadt, and is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. Mirenzi of Marysville; a son, Craig G. and his wife, Joann Drabenstadt of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Frances Husic of Steelton and Patricia Huntzinger of Palmyra; and three grandchildren, Gina R. Mirenzi, Cory and Sara Drabenstadt.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on July 16 at her church.

BRADY K. REISINGER
He attended Three Springs Church of the Brethren, Blain RR 1, and Messiah Pre-school, Elliottsburg, and played Ickesburg T-Ball. He would have been in kindergarten at Blain Elementary School in the fall. He loved John Deere tractors, Scooby Doo and being with his family.
Surviving are his parents, Bradley K. and Lisa M. Reisinger; four sisters, Nancy Ann, Ellie Mae, Molly Kay and Tessa Lynn, all at home; his paternal grandparents, Clarence L. and Patsy A. Simonton Reisinger, Ickesburg; maternal grandparents, Ronald C. and Nancy L. Heindel Fauth, Loysville; maternal great-grandfather, Horace E. Heindel, York; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
Services were held July 19, at Perry Alliance Church, Shermans Dale, with the Revs. John S. Kipp and Donald Heindel Jr. officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Cemetery, Ickesburg RR 1.

STEVEN L. STRAUSER
He was born Feb. 13, 1966 in Harrisburg.
He was an employee of Fed-Ex Ground in Lewisberry; a member of Bible Baptist Church, New Bloomfield; and enjoyed gardening, back-yard football and playing the guitar.
Surviving are his wffe, Rose Passmore Strauser; two sons, Patrick James and Benjamin Scott, and a daughter, Amy Lynn, all at home; his mother and stepfather, Sandra Mae and Lawrence Willard Sweger of Mechanicsburg; his father and stepmother, Joseph Henry and Charlotte Strauser of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, David of Mechanicsburg and Randy of Newport; a sister, Brenda Malnick of Shiremanstown; two half-brothers, Larry Sweger Jr. of Etters and Andy Sweger of Mechanicsburg; two stepbrothers, Jeffrey Sweger of Carlisle and Daniel Woodford of Camp Hill; nine stepsisters, Carol Baker of Mechanicsburg, Teresa Reitz and Denise McCardell, both of Harrisburg, Lisa Zucatta of Dillsburg, Pam Kyler, Amy Fleming, Phyllis Fleming and Pat Woodford, all of Pennsylvania, and Kathleen Kroft of Wellsville.
Services were held July 16 in his church with the Rev. James God officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

CHARLOTTE W. BUYER
She was born Jan. 24, 1914 in Donnally Mills to the late Benjamin Franklin and Carrie (Imhoff) Wilt.
She was a retired accounting clerk for the former Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown; a member of Messiah Village Brethren in Christ Church, Upper Allen Twp.; a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Enola; and a graduate of the former Enola High School.
Surviving are five nieces, Leona Foster of Galeton, Lois Kichman of Liverpool, Jean McBride of Carlisle, Linda Hoover of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and Marilyn Beardslee of Wrightsville; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services were held July 15. Burial was in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.

ROBERT C. HOOVER
He was born Jan. 27, 1918 in Northumberland County to the late Eugene and Jennie (Zeigler) Hoover.
He was a 1937 graduate of Selinsgrove High School and served with the Army in the Pacific during World War II. He retired in 1981 from Weis Markets warehouse after 25 years of employment. Prior to that time he was employed by Hoover Brothers Coal Dredging Co. on the Susquehanna River.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 25, Selinsgrove, and Susquehanna Wood Carving Club, Selinsgrove; and enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood carving and collecting arrowheads.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Phyllis V. Frey Hoover; a son, Ronald E. of Elysburg; three granddaughters, Victoria F. Myers of Enola, Valerie E. Cook of Selinsgrove RR 3 and Kristin G. Willow of Millerstown RR 2; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer E. Cook, Jeanette F. Cook and Stephanie D. Cook; and a great-grandson, Kenneth D. Myers.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joanne L. Inch; three brothers, Harry, George and John; and two sisters, Eugenia Hendricks and Betty Spotts.
Services were held July 18 in Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Northumberland, with the Revs. Charles Melton and William Adams officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
JOSEPH M. FRYE
He was a retired employee from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Paxtang.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia C. Hill Frye of Harrisburg; a brother, John C. Frye II of Shermans Dale; and three nephews, John C. Frye III of Camp Hill, Matthew J. Frye of Mechanicsburg, and Mitchell Davis of Shermans Dale.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated at his church on July 15.

JOHN B. DOYLE
He was born Dec. 19, 1929 in Duncannon.
He was retired from General Instruments, Hatboro, and a Marine veteran the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth A. Bolden Doyle; a son, Kevin R. of Langhorne; a daughter, Darcy L. Schneidinger of Hatfield; a brother, James of Duncannon RR 4; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service, with military honors, was held July 23 in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.

ETHEL K. HARRIS
She was born June 30, 1920 in Juniata County to the late Harry and Annie (Emery) Buchanan.
She was a retired data entry clerk for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Harrisburg; and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Loysville, Ladies Auxiliary of the Blain Fire Company, Blain Ambulance Club, Pennsylvania Retired Employees and Blain Senior Citizens Center, where she received an award from the United Way of the Capital Region for her volunteer work at the center.
She was the widow of David L. Harris.
Surviving are a son, Lee. E. of Loysville; two daughters, Janet H. Hoover of Painted Post, N.Y., and Susan E. Harris Pinto of Drexel Hill; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert K.
Services were held July 19 in her church with the Rev. Richard D. Schoenly officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.

RALPH J. TRESSLER
He was born June 8,1924, in Wila to the late Delbert and Anna (Bixler) Tressler.
He had worked for the former Pennsylvania Railroad and was retired from Conrail; an Army veteran of World War II; a member of the North American Fisherman’s Association; and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Collins Tressler; sons, Stevan J. of Newport, Douglas L. of Bainbridge, Michael R. of Duncannon, Richard L. of Newville, Charles D. of Enola and Scott A. of Duncannon; brothers, John, Roy and Jerry, all of Newport; 11 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Max and Paul, and a sister, Verna Asper.
Services were held July 19 at Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Donald Firestone officiating.

WILLIAM H. SINGER
He was a retired freight conductor after 43 years with the PRR & Conrail; a Navy veteran of World War II; and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Marysville, Marysville Fire Company and United Transportation Union.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret E. Smith Singer; three daughters, Sheryl E. Singer-Foster of New Buffalo, Sheron E. Singer of Marysville and Karen Deitzel of Camp Hill; a son, Robert Singer of Boiling Springs; a stepson, Robert Welker of Enola; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, William H. Jr.
Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

HELEN V. YOHN
She was born Jan. 3, 1926, at Loysville RR 2 to Dessie J. Robinson Baltosser of New Bloomfield and the late Samuel L. Baltosser.
She was a retired cook for the West Perry School District in Blain and was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Blain, and the Green Grove Sunday School, Loysville.
She was the widow of Ralph R. Yohn Jr.
In addition to her mother, surviving by four daughters, Judy K. Hollenbaugh of New Germantown, Dixie E. Reeder of Blain; Audrey A. Yohn of Loysville and Cindy R. Taylor of Blairs Mills; a son, Raymond S. “Sam” Yohn of Loysville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 17 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. E. Levain Fouse officiating. Burial was in Blain Cemetery.
