He was born June 29, 1941 in Huntingdon.
He was a member of American Legion Post 340, Duncannon, and Loyal Order of Moose.
Surviving are his children, William T. of Lusby, Md., Vicki Lynn Saravia of Texas, Donna M. Gates of Dillsburg and Sheica L. Dick of Carlisle; his stepfather, Thomas Tinley of Mohrsville; a brother, David Wertz of Reedsville; a sister, Vonnie K. Carpenter of Mechanicsburg; and 11 grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Nov. 21 in Union Cemetery, Duncannon, with the Rev. Dale Rosenberger officiating.
Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

STANLEY J. DUM
He was born July 27, 1931 at Elliottsburg to the late Paul G. and Olive K. (Reeder) Dum.
He was a truck driver for 30 years with Kenosha Auto Transport, Kenosha, Wis., had worked for Pennsylvania Truck Lines, Harrisburg, and later employed by Rohrer Bus Service, Duncannon, as a motor coach driver, and a bus driver for Dum’s Bus Service, Elliottsburg; a graduate of Green Park Union High School; a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Elliottsburg, and the Chancel Choir, and the Teamsters; and enjoyed farming, restoring and building furniture, two-cylinder John Deere tractors, fishing and being outdoors.
Surviving are his wife, E. Louise Reisinger Dum; three daughters, Donna M. Bender and Sherry L. Tressler, both of Loysville, and Judy E. Zimmerman of Elliottsburg; four sons, Richard E. and Paul K., both of Loysville, Dennis K. of Elliottsburg and Dean E. of New Bloomfield; a sister, Fae E. Appleby of Middletown; 18 grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth E., and a sister, Joyce A. Dum.
Services were held Nov. 25 in his church with the Rev. Miriam L. Nicholson officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

JAMES C. CURTIS JR.
He was born April 19, 1938 in Washington, D.C. to the late James C. Sr. and Vivian (Wheatley) Curtis.
He was a mechanic for the Pennsylvania Turnpike and a farmer; a veteran of the Vietnam War; a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Landisburg, and Cumberland Valley Model Train Club, Carlisle; a 4-H leader for 17 years in Maryland and Pennsylvania; and enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Ann Buch Curtis; four daughters, Rebecca C. Ortega of Seattle, Wash., Kimberly Ann Jones of San Diego, Calif., Debra Ann Hansbury of Liverpool and Dawn Ann Zeak of New Bloomfield; a son, Carl A. of Landisburg; a sister, Thelma Jean Haman of Upper Marlboro, Md.; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 25 in his church with the Rev. George C. Martz officiating.

CHELSEY L. MORRIS
She was sophomore at Lebanon Valley College, where she was a member of the Swim Team, History and Political Science Club and Tae Kwon Do Club; a 2002 graduate of East Pennsboro High School; and a member of Marysville Pentecostal Church of God.
Surviving are her parents, David H. II and Crystal L. Jackson Morris of Enola; a brother, David H. Morris III of Enola; paternal grandfather, Robert Morris of Liverpool; maternal grandparents, Rev. Dr. Ernest D. Jr. and Lois J. Holmes Jackson of Marysville; and aunts and uncles, Jeri Morris of Harrisburg, Ernest D. III and Debra Jackson of Bressler, and Blake and Tracy Jackson of Camp Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, in River of God Church, 747 Wertzville Road, Enola. Burial will follow the service.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, in the church.

RONALD W. PETROSKI
He was born Jan. 10, 1941 to the late Joseph and Sophie Petroski.
Surviving are three sons, Brian J. and Wayne K., both of Harrisburg, and Steve A. of Dillsburg; two sisters, Lucille H. Neidigh of Hoschton, Ga., and Dorothy E. Hall of Enola; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service was held in Hill Cemetery, Duncannon RR 4.

R. LOUISE SHUMAKER
She was born Dec. 27, 1915 at Liverpool to the late Ralph Long and Minnie (Romig) Shumaker.
She was employed by Pennsylvania Thrashermen & Farmers Mutual Casualty Insurance Company, Harrisburg (now Pennsylvania National), as a secretary, and was a partner for the John H. Runkle Insurance Company, Harrisburg, from 1949-1961, and later retired from secretarial duties for William Hollinger, Harrisburg; graduated from Liverpool High School; a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Liverpool; and enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling.
Surviving are four first cousins, Helen Lookingbill of York, Marian Crow of Pittsburgh, Ted Crow of Arizona and Harry Shumaker of Hazelton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, R. Earl Shumaker, who died Dec. 20, 1998, and a sister, Margaret E. Shumaker, who died Jan. 8, 1972.
Services were held Nov. 24 in her church with the Rev. James R. Bramer officiating. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.

GEORGE L. RUMBAUGH
He retired from Local 520 and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wertzville.
Surviving are his wife 57 years, Betty J. Rumbaugh; a daughter, Barbara Minich of Mechanicsburg; and a granddaughter.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

JOHN A. STEININGER
He was born Oct. 23, 1924 in York.
He retired from the former Bethlehem Steel Co. after 30 years of service, and after retirement was a postal carrier in Shermans Dale for many years; a graduate of the former Landisburg High School; an Army veteran of World War II; attended Trinity United Methodist Church, New Kingstown; and a member of American Legion 109 and VFW 6704, both of Mechanicsburg, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1562, Newport.
Surviving are his wife, Althea K. Gilbert Steininger of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Carol Owinges of Newport; a stepdaughter, Marie Brentley of New Holland; two stepsons, David G. Kutz and D. Edward Kutz, both of Mt. Holly Springs; three grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 22 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 25 in Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph Kugle officiating. Burial was in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale.

CLAIR H. MYERS
He was born Saturday, Sept. 1, 1928 in Carlisle to the late Edgar L. Myers and Grace (Miller) Myers.
He worked in the maintenance department of the Carlisle School District for 15 years and also had worked at the Carlisle Y.M.C.A., the former C. H. Masland & Sons and had been a self-employed builder in the area.
He attended Carlisle High School and received his GED while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of Shermans Dale United Methodist Church and was caretaker of the Presbyterian Church Cemetery for 30 years. He also served as president of the Cemetery association. He enjoyed steam boating, his cabin at Chincoteague Bay Trails End, puttering in his shop and using his tractor.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Mary Jane Finkenbinder Myers; a son, Randall of Shermans Dale; three daughters, Peggy Heisner of Carlisle, Melanie Fetterhoff of Shermans Dale and Laurie Myers, at home; six grandchildren, Michael Moll, Brian Myers, Ginger Keck, Stephanie Campbell, Heidi Fetterhoff and Holli Fetterhoff; and three great-grandchildren, Zoe Moll, Aiden Moll and E. Hayes Myers.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene R.
Services were held Nov. 20 in his church with the Rev. N. Jefferson Brewster officiating. Burial was in Shermans Dale Presbyterian Cemetery.

PAULINE M. CAMPBELL
She was the daughter of Pauline M. Nace of Enola and the late Charles E. Nace.
In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband, Ross D. Campbell; a son, Daniel J. of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Bonnie L. Rankin of Mechanicsburg and Charlene M. Brownawell of York; and two brothers, Robert E. Nace of Mechanicsburg and Ronald S. Nace of Shippensburg.
Services were held Dec. 9 in Neill Funeral Home, Harrisburg. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

CLAY W. DURHAM JR.
He was born March 19, 1944 in Port Trevorton to the late Clay W. and Margaret (Weiser) Durham.
He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Co.; a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War; state commander and national vice commander of Sons of the American Legion; and a life member of Duncannon Fire Company.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Test of Lincoln, Neb.; a son, Clay W. III of Enola; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 4 in Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Philip Kneier officiating. Burial, with military honors by American Legion Post 340 and VFW Post 255, was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.

RICHARD E. KELLER SR.
He was a retired soft floor mechanic and a 50-year union member; a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Marysville, Marysville Lions Club and Capital Area Moose Lodge, Marysville.
He was the widower of Janice Wehler Keller.
Surviving are three sons, Richard E. Jr. of Newport, Steven A. of Marysville and Frederick W. of Mechanicsburg; a brother, William Thomas Keller Jr. of Lockport, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 5 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
