Thomas A. Holleran, 84, of Kings Highway, Marysville, died Tuesday, Jan. 20,1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital.
He retired from the Harrisburg Post Office; was an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Marysville, and the Marysville Lions Club.
He was the widower of Gwendolyn R. Rogers Holleran.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda H. Zeiders of Millerstown RR 2; a son, James A. of Harrisburg; two brothers, Roger and Jim, both of Tioga; two sisters, Theresa Cruz of Norwich, N.Y., and Alice McHale of Corning, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 24 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.
Lillian M. Kelly, 83, of Newport Road, Duncannon, died Tuesday, April 14, in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was the widow of Norman A. Kelly.

Donald G. Martin, 65, of Valley Ranch Road, Carroll Twp., died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1998 at Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was a retired employee of the former New Cumberland Army Depot; a member of Shermans Dale United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale Lions Club, Disabled American Veterans, West Shore Chapter 50 and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 882, Marysville.
He was the widower of Daisy Martin.Surviving are a fiancee, Doris Baughman; two daughters, Christine M. McGee and Karen E. Wertz, both of Mechanicsburg; three brothers, Herbert of Glasgow, Mont., Mervin of Hershey and Claire of Palmyra; four sisters, Miriam Olivier and Dorothy Shepler, both of Hummelstown, Romaine Rowe of Enhaut and Joyce Shertzer of Morristown, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three stepgrand-children.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey E. Martin.
Services were held Dec. 23 in Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial was in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Capital Region Division, 1019 Mumma Road, Suite 200, Wormleysburg 17043.
Ethel R. Meloy, 93, formerly of Newport, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in the Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born March 27, 1905 in Orfino, Neb., to the late Amos and Alice (Surber) Johnson.
She retired from the state Department of Public Assistance in New Bloomfield, and was a former schoolteacher, an avid card-player; and a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, Newport, and Perry Eastern Star Chapter 459.
She was the widow of William P. Meloy.
Surviving are a son, Tom of Hanover; a daughter, Pat L. McGowan of Newport; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 24 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Canon William T. Warne officiating.
Burial was in St. Matthew Lutheran Church Cemetery, Millerstown.

Floyd H. Morrison, 90, of Cassel Street, Marysville, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998 at home.
He began working for the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1924 at the age of 15 and worked for the PRR for 49 years except for two years during World War II when he worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yards. His duties included working on the USS Washington, several battleships and submarines as an underwater welder.
He was a life member of the Marysville Moose Lodge, and through his work at the lodge he was awarded the Pilgram Degree, its highest honor. He also was a member of the Marysville Church of God and the Senior Life of the church; Knights of Pythias, Buehler Lodge, Marysville; the Golden Age Club of Marysville; Marysville Senior Citizens Association; Marysville Fire Company; MBA Union; TWA Union; and was active in the Meals-on-Wheels program.
He was the widower of Augusta E. Morrison.
Services were held Nov. 24 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

Frank M. Miller, 63, of Newport and Dagsboro, Del., died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998 at his Newport home.
He was born Feb. 9, 1935 in Newport to the late Ralph E. and Florence (Blaine) Miller.
He was a former Miller Twp., Supervisor for 12 years in the 1970s and 80s; had owned and operated Miller's General Welding for five years, having retired after 25 years as a truck driver from Atlantic Richfield Co.
He was an Army veteran; a member and trustee of St. Georges United Methodist Church, Clarksville, Del.; a board member of the Perry County Recreation Association; and a member of the American Legion, New Bloomfield F&M Lodge 319 and Harrisburg Consistory.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Knisley Miller, two sons, Paul L. of Falls Church, Va., and Ralph E. of New Bloomfield; two brothers, Joda and Ralph, both of Newport; a sister, Joyce Delancey of Millerstown; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Miller, and a sister, Elizabeth Campbell.
A Celebration of Life service was held Jan. 5 in Dellville United Methodist Church, Duncannon.
Myers Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.

Sarah D. "Sid" Miller, 88, of Nottingham Village Nursing Center, Northumberland RR 1, formerly of N. Market Street, Liverpool, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Oct. 22, 1910 in Liverpool to the late John Charles and Maud Willets (Murray) Deckard.
She had assisted her late husband in operating Miller's Market in Liverpool; was a graduate of Liverpool High School; a member, pianist and former council member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Liverpool; and a member of the Geisinger Medical Center Auxiliary and the Liverpool Ambulance League and Fire Company.
She was the widow of Lewis Holman "Max" Miller Sr., who died Feb. 29, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Lewis H. Jr. of Liverpool; two daughters, Essie M. Rothermel of Danville and Patricia L. Campbell of Millerstown; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, C. Harry Deckard.
Services were private. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.

Grace E. Mellinger, 61, of Church Road, Penn Twp., Carlisle, died Friday, Oct. 16, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Aug. 23, 1937 in Carlisle to the late John J. and Bertha M. (Brookhart) Clark.
She was a member of the Huntsdale Church of Brethren and the Penn Twp. Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, S. Rodney Mellinger; two sons, David L. Campbell of Carlisle and John C. "Jack" Campbell of Naples, Fla.; two daughters, Ellen Mellinger-Blouch of Hershey and Jennifer L. Mellinger of Mechanicsburg; one sister, Joan L. Bonsall of Millerstown; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard D. Clark.
Services were held Oct. 20 in her church with the Rev. Jan Custer officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.

Leslie G. McAllister, 80, of Elliottsburg died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born Jan. 31, 1918 in Landisburg to the late George and Gertrude (Crull) McAllister.
He retired from the former Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg; and had worked for Masland Industries and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, New Bloomfield; an Army veteran of World War II; member of Newport Owls Club and Newport American Legion; and an avid squirrel hunter.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Mae McAllister; a daughter, Connie L. Lesh of Elliottsburg RR 1; five brothers, Nelson Weller of Nebraska, Wayne Weller of Harrisburg, Charles Weller of Enola, Harold Weller of Summer-dale and Robert Weller of Wyoming; a sister, Dolly Fleisher of Thompsontown; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Weller.
Services were held Nov. 6 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Aden Wertz officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Evangelical Cemetery.
