Lester Jay Blank, 22, of Ickesburg RR 1 died Saturday, June 13, 1998 as the result of a traffic accident near Newville.
He was born May 26, 1976 at Gordonville, Lancaster County.
He was an employee of Henry Lapp Carpentry.
Surviving are his parents, Leroy F. and Elizabeth Smoker Blank, with whom he lived; four brothers, Nelson R. of New Holland, Leroy F. Jr. of Ickesburg RR 1, and Ivan Wayne and Nathan G., both at home; and two sisters, Becky Sue Fisher of Ickesburg RR 1 and Loretta Jane Blank, at home.
Services were held June 15 at the home of David Fisher, Loysville RR 1. Burial was in Ridgeview Cemetery, Loysville RR 1.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.
Mabel F. Bohner, 68, of Perlo Ridge Apartments, Loysville RR 2, died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998 in ManorCare Health Center, Carlisle.
She was born May 3, 1930 in Lancaster County to the late William and Hazel (Mullen) Rice.
She was retired from Carlisle Tire and Wheel Company, Carlisle, and a member of Snyder's United Methodist Church, New Bloomfield RR 1.
Surviving are 12 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John "Johnny" Rice and Pete Rice Sr., and two sisters, Beula Murray and Freda Mitten.
Services were held Oct. 2 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. Randall L. Goshorn officiating. Burial was in Snyder's Cemetery, New Bloomfield RR 1.
John H. Bolton, 94, formerly of Canby Street, Penbrook, died Thursday, June 11, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
He was born Dec. 19, 1903 in West Hanover Twp., Dauphin County, to the late Harvey M. and Mazie E. (Kramer) Bolton.
He was a retired salesman for the former Manbeck Bakery. He was a member of Corinthian Lodge 104 F&AM of Bridgeport, Conn., for 54 years, and a member of Progress Church of God and the Harrisburg Consistory.
He was the widower of Harriet B. Adams Bolton and Viola A. Shutt Bolton.
Surviving are a son, Robert J. of Shermans Dale, and two granddaughters.
Graveside services were held June 15 in Shoop's Cemetery, Harrisburg. Neumyer Funeral Home, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Residence Activities, Perry Village Nursing Home, 213 E. Main St., New Bloomfield 17068.
Margaret Bomgardner, 90, of Camp Hill died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998 at home.
She was born May 1, 1907 in Harrisburg.
She was a member of East Pennsboro Ambulance Service, Inc. She was the widow of William Bomgardner Sr., who died Jan. 15, 1985.
Surviving are two sons, H. Kenneth of Mechanicsburg and William Jr. of Clearfield, Utah; one brother, Rea Demey of Lebanon; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 23 in Hoover Funeral Home, Linglestown, with the Rev. Landis Tice officiating. Burial was in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.

Emma E. Bordner, 52, of Mount Pleasant Mills RR 2, Perry Twp., died Monday, Aug. 3, 1998 in Sunbury Community Hospital.
She was born July 2, 1946 in Perry County to the late Harvey E. Sr. and Mary Ellen (Hoffman) Sweigart.
She was a demonstrator for Friendly Home Toy Parties Co.; had worked at Eileen Hope Manufacturing Co., Liverpool; was a graduate of Greenwood Joint High School, Millerstown; and a member of Aline United Methodist Church, Mount Pleasant Mills RR 2, and its Ladies Prayer Breakfasts, Willing Sunday School Class, Fremont Fire Company Auxiliary and Richfield Ambulance League.
Surviving are her husband, Leroy Ernest Bordner; four daughters, Christine M. Bordner of Mount Pleasant Mills RR 1, Angela M. Bordner, at home, Michele E. Feltman of Richfield RR 2 and Michele E. Brown of Sunbury; five brothers, Lester Sweigart of Clearfield, Harvey Sweigart Jr. and Charles Sweigart, both of Liverpool RR 1, Robert Sweigart of Richfield and George Sweigart of Millerstown RR 2; five sisters, Beatrice Sweigart and Romaine Klinger, both of Liverpool, Geraldine Matukaitis of Mount Carmel and Ruth Miller and Shirley Goodling, both of Millerstown RR 2; and one granddaughter, Mary Feltman.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Sweigart. Services were held Aug. 7 in her church with pastor James L. Lewis officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills, handled arrangements.
Kenneth E. Bornman, 66, of New Bloomfield RR 1 died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born April 26, 1932 in Wheatfield Twp. to the late Frank and Ida (Miller) Bornman.
He retired from the state Department of Public Welfare; was a graduate of Duncannon High School; an Army veteran of the Korean War; and a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Duncannon, the Duncannon High School Alumni Association, ABC Bowling and Duncannon American Legion Post 340.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly Gross Bornman; and two brothers, Donald of Duncannon and Franklin of New Bloomfield RR 1.
Services were held Aug. 21 in his church with the Rev. Alan Foor officiating. Burial was in Snyder's Church Cemetery, New Bloomfield RR 1. Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 212 N. High St., Duncannon 17020.
Helen G. Borrell, 85, formerly of New Bloomfield, died Sunday, March 22, 1998 in Claremont House, Carlisle.
She was born Jan. 21, 1913 in Centre Twp. to the late Harry C. and Rose Anna (Kitner) Foose.
Surviving are three sons, Albert J. Fosselman of Elliottsburg, George F. and David C. Borrell, both of New Bloomfield; three daughters, Gay I. Roush of New Bloomfield, Catherine R. Garlin of Loysville and Anna Fry of Shermans Dale; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 25 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. John A. Snyder officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Mildred G. Borrell, 95, formerly of Marysville, died Tuesday, July 21, 1998 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was a member of Marysville Church of God, its Sunday School Class 6, Marysville Fire Company Auxiliary, Marysville Senior Citizens Association and Golden Age Club of Marysville.
She was the widow of Benjamin F. Borrell.
Surviving is a nephew, Dennis E. Bitner of Elizabethtown.
Services were held July 27 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
