Martin J. Erdossy, 87, of Maple Avenue, Marysville, died Wednesday, July 29, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient, and a life member of VFW Post 882.
Surviving are his wife, Jeannine Erdossy; two sons, Jon of Marysville and Martin J. III of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Tracy of Marysville; three sisters, Edith Loveless of Wilmington, Del., Olga Pugh of Grantville and Lillian Fogerty of Auburn; a brother, Alexander of Fairless Hills; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville. Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.
Landis L. "Hap" Evans, 84, of Basin Hill Road, Duncannon, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998 at home.
He was born Oct. 31, 1913 in Miller Twp. to the late Daniel and Florainus (Baker) Evans.
He was an employee of the former Newport Plier Factory; was retired from PennDOT in New Bloomfield; was an Army veteran of World War II, in which he was awarded the Purple Heart; a member of the Duncannon American Legion Post 340; Newport Social Order of Owls; Newport VFW Post 34; and Newport Chapter 49 Disabled Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Miller Evans; a son, Barry L. of Duncannon; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Haines of Duncannon; and two grandchildren.
Services were held in the David M. Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Cheryl Dorman and Lee Snyder officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Newport.

Mary Florence Evans, 76, of Spring Road, Carlisle Springs, died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998 at Carlisle Hospital.
She was born April 18, 1922 in Carroll Twp. to the late Charles L. and Bertha (Kitner) Smee.
She was a 1941 graduate of Carlisle High School; a retired employee of the former C. H. Masland & Sons, Carlisle; and a member and former Sunday school teacher of St. Matthias Lutheran Church, Carlisle Springs.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, John T. Evans; two sons, John T. Jr. of Carlisle and Darryl E. of Bowmansdale; two daughters, Avonne C. Clapsadl of Camp Hill and Karen L. Russell of Carlisle; three sisters, Olive Swanson of Red Oak, Iowa, Grace Hurley of Carlisle Springs and Anna Hockenberry of Shermans Dale; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Smee.
Services were held Nov. 2 in her church with the Rev. Sarah A Heintzelman officiating. Burial was in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, handled arrangements.

Eugene C. Everitt Jr., 34, of Rambo Hill Road, Shermans Dale, died Friday, June 19, 1998 in Crozier Chester Burn Center, Chester, as the result of electrical burns suffered May 28 at Dover Downs race track, Dover, Del.
He was born July 13, 1963, in Harrisburg.
He was an employee of Midas Mufflers, Carlisle; a 1982 graduate of West Perry High School; and a member of the Dale Earnhardt Fan Club.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Mislyan Everitt; his mother, Kay Diane Womer Everitt of Newport; and three sisters, Pamela K. Smith of New Bloomfield, Christine M. Hoffman of Newport and Janice L. Sheldon of Shermans Dale; and five nieces and five nephews.
Services were held June 23 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

John H. Fach Sr., 70, of Duncannon, formerly of Middletown, died Friday, July 3, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was an employee of the Harrisburg Incinerator Plant.
He was the widower of Dorothy L. Jackson.
Surviving are three sons, John H. Jr. of Gardena, Calif., Lynn E. "Skip" Sr. of Duncannon and Wayne D. of Great Falls, S.C.; three daughters, Linda Walker and Carol Sue Raudensky, both of Duncannon, and Dixie Hoover of Hummelstown; two brothers, George Fach Sr. and Harry Fach Sr., both of Middletown; two sisters, Alice Treichler of Middletown and Elizabeth Emerich of Royalton; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 13, in New Buffalo C.M.A. Church, Duncannon, with the Rev. Dave Gouak officiating. Burial was at the convenience of the family.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

Ruth Carol Feltman, 58, of Shermans View Road, Shermans Dale, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born July 27, 1939 to the late Gerald and Isabelle (Headings) Rudy.
She was a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale.
Surviving are her husband, Lester E. Feltman; a son, Mark, at home; a daughter, Sharon Warner of Stafford, Va.; three brothers, Gerald Rudy of Dauphin, Jonathon Rudy of New Cumberland and Richard Rudy of Enola; three sisters, Barbara Erdley of Milton, Patricia Chronister of Marysville and Melissa Sundy of Shermans Dale; three grandchildren; and a special family friend, Dawn Gurgle.
Services were held Feb. 18 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Peter Beddia officiating. Burial was in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

Sylvania S. Feltman, 89, of Millerstown RR 2 died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1998 at home.
She formerly worked at Liverpool Shirt Co. and was a member of Church of Christ in Christian Union, Mount Pleasant Mills RR 1. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.
She was the widow of Dervin Feltman. Surviving are a son, R. Truman of Duncannon RR 4; two daughters, Geraldine N. Benner and Zella J. Phelabaum, both of Harrisburg; a sister, Hannah Kline of White Deer; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 17 in Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills. Burial was in Evangelical Methodist Cemetery, Richfield.

Charles W. Fenicle, 95, of Valley Road, Marysville, died Sunday, April 19, 1998 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born Jan. 25, 1903 in Marysville to the late Linus and Mary (Brubaker) Fenicle.
He was a retired lifetime farmer in Perry County and a former employee of Carlisle Tire and Wheel, Carlisle, and Frog, Switch, and Mfg. Co., Carlisle. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Marysville, and the Shermans Dale Fire Company and Shermans Dale Ambulance Association.
He was the widower of Annabell K. Lightner Fenicle.
Surviving are a son, Charles W. Fenicle Jr. of Marysville; two daughters, Lydia M. Wagner and Arlene L. Sloop, both of Marysville; two brothers, Linus Fenicle and Lester Fenicle, both of Hershey; four sisters, Pearl Kitner and Sarah Smeigh, both of Marysville, Jean Kitner and Violet Bentsel, both of Shermans Dale; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jack Wagner Jr.
Services were held April 22 in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, with the Rev. Ronald L. Doverspike officiating. Burial was in Griers Point Cemetery, Rye Twp.
