Adele W. Fox, 89, of Country Meadows, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Duncannon, died Friday, March 20, 1998 in Country Meadows.
She was born June 8, 1908 in Shenandoah, Pa., to the late Anthony and Margaret (Naryauckas) Walaitis.
She retired as a business teacher from Susquenita High School; was a graduate of the former Beckley College, Harrisburg, and attended Columbia and New York universities; had been a representative of the former Tuberculosis Society, an area chairman for the American Red Cross and president of the Duncannon Cemetery Association; and was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, the Pennsylvania Council of Republican Women, Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and Perry County Public School Retirees.
She was the widow of Donald D. Taylor and Richard N. Fox.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Alan Foor officiating. Burial was in Duncannon Cemetery.

Betty J. Fry, 70, of S. Second Street, Newport, died Friday, Oct. 9, 1998 at home.
She was born May 6, 1928 in Huntingdon County to the late Harry L. and Florence (Cramer) Bowser.
She had worked for Rubin Brothers, Harrisburg, and Empire Kosher Poultry, Thompsontown; enjoyed crocheting and making dolls; and had attended Newport Church of God.
She was the widow of Ralph W. Fry.
Surviving are a daughter, Florence P. Cox of Newport; four grandchildren, Tammy Gill and Amy, Mindy and Valerie Cox; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Gill and Brooke Wright.
Services were held Oct. 12 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Harry Cole officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Newport Ambulance League, P.O. Box 66, Newport 17074.
Marguerite E. Frye, 79, of Warner Robins, Ga., died Friday, June 26, 1998 at Southern Heritage, Ga.
She was born Feb. 18, 1919 in Perry County to the late Cloyd and Mary E. (Bowersox) Cooney.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was the widow of David Albert Frye.
Surviving are three sons, David C. of Euless, Texas, Patrick K. of Comer, Texas, and Wesley A. of Warner Robins; and a daughter, Susan F. Linde of Rockville, Mass.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 30 in her church with Father Michael Labinsky officiating. Burial was in Parkway Memorial Gardens, Warner Robins.
McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins, handled arrangements.
Ronald L. Fultz, 51, of Creek Road, Shermans Dale, formerly of Elliottsburg, died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998 at home.
He was a handyman.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra L. McKain Fultz; a son, Jan of Elliottsburg; a daughter, Ginger Rhodes of Shermans Dale; his mother, Ruth Fultz of Elliottsburg; four sisters, Sandra Cale, Nancy Kerlin and Carol Baum, all of Elliottsburg, and Sherry Smith of New Bloomfield; and a granddaughter.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled the arrangements.
Jack W. Gabert, 59, of New Bloomfield RR 2 died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born Jan. 16, 1939 in Fulton County to the late Walter and Margaret (Pine) Gabert.
He was an employee of Lear Inc., Carlisle; attended New Bloomfield Bible Baptist Church; and was a member of the Perry County Archers and New Bloomfield Sportsmen's Club.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Gipe Gabert; three sons, John W. of Millerstown, Donald E. of New Bloomfield and Clayton W. of Camp Hill; three daughters, Cindy L. Gabert of Shermans Dale, Tina M. McCole of Waluwatsoa, Wis., and Susan M. Jackson of Dillsburg; two brothers, George of Columbia and Paul of Chambersburg; three sisters, Nancy Lybrand of Gardners, Darlene Eutzy of Shippensburg and Linda Harris of Dry Run; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 19 in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. James God officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Elsie F. Ganger, 74, of Goshen, Ind., died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998 in Goshen General Hospital.
She was born March 21, 1924 in Perry County to the late John and Hester (Reisinger) Barnes.
She was a homemaker; attended Goshen City Church of the Brethren; and was a member of Elks Ladies and Maplecrest Country Club.
She was the widow of Alton Miller, who died Feb. 15, 1972, and Gerald "Jerry" Ganger, who died May 20, 1982.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Miller of San Diego, Calif.; a son, Luie Miller of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Julia Goers; a stepson, Wayne Ganger; four sisters, Thelma Waller, Mable Casner, Ethel Weibley and Betty Wenger, all of Perry County; and three brothers, Earl, John and Larry Barnes, all of Perry County.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Lester Barnes.
Services were held Sept. 14 in Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Carl officiating. Burial was in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen City Church of the Brethren.
Kathryn M. Garman, 81, of Amity Road, Duncannon RR 4, died Friday, May 15, 1998 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was born April 25, 1917 at Bressler, Dauphin County, to the late Frank and Katherine Jurjevic.
She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Duncannon.
Surviving are her husband, Grant F. Garman; a daughter, Frances A. of Alexandria, Va.; and a sister, Ann M. Vukmanic of Bressler.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 20 in her church with Father John Greaney officiating. Burial was in Hill Cemetery, Duncannon RR 4.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

Norman Grant Gelnett Sr., 53, of Liverpool RR 1 died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born March 15, 1945 at McKees Half Falls, Snyder County, to Erma Arlene (Wildt) Gelnett of Sebring, Fla., and the late Grant Henry Gelnett.
He was employed by the Harrisburg State Hospital; attended the former Greenwood Joint High School, Millerstown, and graduated from Susquehanna Schools in Dauphin in 1965; attended St. John (Barner's) Lutheran Church, Liverpool RR 1; and was a member of Liverpool Fire Company and Liverpool Ambulance League.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 23 years, JoAnn Marie Hurter Gelnett; two sons, Norman G. Jr. of Elliottsburg and Thomas E. of Camp Hill; one daughter, Mary Ann Gelnett-Johnson of Harrisburg; two brothers, David E. of McAlisterville RR 1 and Dennis W. of Millerstown RR 2; three sisters, Dorothy "Arlene" McNaughton of Liverpool RR 1, Judy K. Nichols of Sebring, Fla., and Mary Lou Dick of Millerstown RR 2; and five grandsons, Quincy G. Gelnett-Johnson, Christopher G. Gelnett, Jonathan G. Gelnett, Kyle N. Johnson and Benjamin T.M. Gelnett.
Services were held Sept. 27 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Raymond D. Neitz officiating. Burial was in Halls Church Cemetery, Port Trevorton RR 1.
