Barbara L. Hammaker, 44, of Barnett Drive, Duncannon, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, at home.
She was born Dec. 28, 1953 in Harrisburg.
Surviving are her husband, David E. Hammaker Sr.; two sons, David E. Jr. and David J. Garvey, both of Duncannon; two daughters, Michelle L. Black of New Bloomfield RR 1, and Karen L. Hammaker of Duncannon; her parents, Stanley Sr. and Betty Buffington Kulp of Duncannon; two sisters, Ruth A. Spease and Evelyn J. Hilbish, both of Duncannon; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Kulp Jr.
Services were held Aug. 25 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Terry Sheaffer officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
Beryl R. Hammaker, 69, of Duncannon died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born July 27, 1928 in Watts Twp. to the late Albert Lowe and Hazel Fenicle.
She was a homemaker and retired employee of Olivetti Inc. of Harrisburg; and a member of Duncannon Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harry E. Hammaker; two sons, Ronald L. of Newport and Rev. Mark A. of Tamaqua; three daughters, Karen E. Neill of Dauphin, Vicki C. Theurer of Duncannon and Wanda K. Kreiger of Newport; two brothers, Nathan Lowe and Galen Lowe, both of Duncannon; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 12 in Hoover Funeral Home, Linglestown, with the Revs. Dale Rosenberger and Thomas Budzowski officiating. Burial was in Willow Grove Cemetery, Linglestown.
Mildred V. Hammaker, 93, of Chestnut Street, Marysville, died Monday, July 27, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She retired from the former J.R. Manufacturing Co., Marysville, and the former Duncannon Shirt and Dress factories; was a member of the former International Ladies Garment Workers Union; and a former member of Logania Church of God.
She was the widow of Harry A. Hammaker.
Surviving are two sons, Harry R. of Marysville and Jackson R. of Enola; a daughter, Janet R. McCann of Marysville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 31 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.

Elinor Dunbar Hampton, 86, of Limestone Ridge Road, Elliottsburg, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998 in Loudon Hospital Center, Leesburg, Va.
She was born in New Bloomfield to the late Phillip S. and Blanche V. (Beck) Dunbar.
She was a doll collector and a volunteer worker.
She had attended a business school in Pittsburgh and later taught business courses at the former New Bloomfield High School, where she had been a center for the girls' basketball team and winner of an award for the best essay.
She traveled widely and was an avid reader and bridge player. Despite failing eyesight, she continued to read large-print books which were later given to New Bloomfield Public Library. She enjoyed both writing and receiving letters.
She was a member of Centre Presbyterian Church, Loysville RR 1. She was the widow of Dr. Louis Jennings Hampton, who she married in 1931. She lived in New Bloomfield while he served as an Army doctor in the Pacific during World War II. They later resided in Stratford, Conn., and in Penn Valley and Hanover.
Surviving are a son, Louis J. Jr. of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Elinor D. Melvin of Aptos, Calif., and Phyllis H. Sloyan of Paeonian Springs, Va.; a sister, Blanche Dunbar Orr of Zelienople; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Feb. 6 in Bloomfield Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Osborne officiating. Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.

Robert W. Harris, 72, of Enola Road, Carlisle, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born Sept. 11, 1926 in Newport to the late Charles R. and Charlotte L. (Clouser) Harris.
He retired from Woolworth Corp., Shiremanstown; was a former employee of Womeldorf Trucking, Lewistown; and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Lewistown, Lewistown Lodge 203 F&AM, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Juniata Valley Forest 88, Harrisburg Consistory, Social Order of Owls and American Legion Post 177, both of Newport, and Lewistown and Mechanicsburg Elks; a trustee and member of North Middleton Twp., Volunteer Fire company No. 1; and life member of Yeagerstown Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Loper Harris; two sons, Stuart A. of Beaver Springs and Robert C. of Lewistown; two daughters, Joy S. Manolis of Erie and Balerie J. Henry of Mount Joy; a brother, Charles R. Harris of Shermans Dale; a sister, Joanne L. Hendrickson of Linglestown; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen L.

Stephen Lee Harris, 50, of Enola Road, Carlisle, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998 at Carlisle Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1948 in Millerstown.
He was employed by Roadway, Tannersville, and Yellow Freight, East Petersburg; a graduate of Chief Logan High School, Lewistown; a member of Lutheran Church, Brodheadsville, Central Pa. Teamsters Local 776, Yeagerstown Fire Company, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4294, Burnham; and a former member of F&AM Lodge 203, Lewistown.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Yohn Harris of Elliottsburg RR 2; two daughters, Caroline M. Schuyler of Texas and Mary A. Purcell of Lewistown; one son, Daniel W. Harris of Lewistown; his parents, Robert W. and Janet Loper Harris, with whom he lived; two brothers, Stuart A. Harris of Beaver Springs and Robert C. Harris of Lewistown; two sisters, Joy S. Manolis of Erie and Balerie J. Henry of Mt. Joy; and five granddaughters.
Services were held Oct. 2 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Miriam Nicholson officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
Vera P. Harrison, 97, of the Shook Home for the Aged, Chambersburg, formerly of St. Thomas, died Monday, Nov. 16, 1998 in the home.
She was a teacher at St. Thomas Elementary School and then a special education teacher at James Buchanan.
She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church of St. Thomas, taught Sunday school for 70 years, active in the United Methodist Womens Club and other ministries of the church, and taught Bible Release Time for many years; a member of the first class to graduate from St. Thomas Twp. High School, class of 1919; and attended Shippensburg Normal School for three years.
She was the widow of Norman C. Harrison, who died in 1993. They had been married 70 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Rohrbacher of Spencerport, N.Y., and Margie Hege of Chambersburg; one son, Norman C. Jr. of New Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services were held Nov. 19 in her church with the Rev. Paul Crawford officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
The Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg, handled arrangements.

Marie L. Harro, 83, of Marysville died Monday, July 27, 1998 in Renova Center, Camp Hill.
She retired from West Shore Oil Co., Marysville; and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Marysville, Pythian Sisters Lodge 151, Marysville Fire Company Auxiliary, Marysville Golden Age Club and Perry County Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was the widow of Franklin W. Harro. Surviving are three daughters, Dorothee M. Rabold of Harrisburg, Patricia L. Martin of Marysville and Suzanne B. Harro of Wormleysburg; a brother, Frederick W. Adams of Marysville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Services were held July 30 in her church. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, handled arrangements.
