Lillian M. Kelly, 83, of Newport Road, Duncannon, died Tuesday, April 14, in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was the widow of Norman A. Kelly.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.
Norman A. Kelly, 85, of Newport Road, Duncannon, died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born April 30, 1912.
He retired from Robert Smith Oil Co., Newport; was a Navy veteran of World War II; and a member of VFW Post 255, Duncannon.
Surviving is wife, Lillian Spong Kelly. Arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon.
Earl D. "Sonny" Kerstetter, 58, of Middleburg RR 1 died Friday, March 20, 1998 at the home of his brother.
He was born Feb. 11, 1940 in Liverpool to the late Earl T.R. and Mary Ellen (Williamson) Kerstetter.
He had worked in the mail room at the State Capitol and had also been employed by Weis Markets, Elby's and Tedd's Landing; attended Calvary Baptist Church, Mifflinburg; and while living in Millerstown, was active in the Senior Citizen Center.
Surviving are three brothers, Lewis D. of Middleburg, Dennis R. of Millerstown and Gary A. of Middleburg RR 1, with whom he lived; and two sisters, Elsie M. Wetzel of Newport and Phyllis A. Singley of Middleburg.
Services were held March 31 in Hummel Funeral Home, Middleburg, with the Rev. Troy D. Kerstetter officiating. Burial was in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool RR 2.
Richard L. Kichman, 53, of Valley Road, Marysville, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998 at home.
He was a carpenter for Local 287 of Harrisburg.
Surviving are his wife, Marie A. Tolbert Kichman; three sons, Richard L. of Graham, N.C., Christopher R. of Newville and Richard L. III, at home; a daughter, Darlene C. Hornbaker of Duncannon; two stepdaughters, Linda L. Wade of Harrisburg and Ann M. Hurrell of Dauphin; two brothers, Fred of Florida and John of Enola; two sisters, Laura Mae Garber of Harrisburg and June Lowe of Middletown; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 19 in Richardson Funeral Home, Enola. Burial was in East Harrisburg Cemetery.
Satchiria E. "Ronald" Kiner, 46, of Fannettsburg, formerly of Blain, died Saturday, June 6, 1998 at Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born Feb. 2, 1952 at Blain RR 1 to Lula V. (Stahl) Kiner of Blain RR 1 and the late Ray William Kiner.
He was employed by Smith Brothers Construction Company and was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his fiancee, Patricia Foreman of Fannettsburg; two daughters, Vicki Lynn Silvis of Shermans Dale and Melissa Marie Kiner of Carlisle; a son, William C. of Carlisle; four foster children; Richie, Shawn, Randy and Matthew Foreman, all of Fannettsburg; a sister, Nancy L. Panilaitis of Blain RR 1; two brothers, Robert R. of Blain RR 1 and Roy W. of Elliottsburg RR 2; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held June 10 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. H. James Williams officiating.
Floy May King, 84, of Douglas, Ariz., died Monday, April 13, 1998.
She was born Aug. 18, 1913 in Newport to the late Rev. Wesley and Annie (Frank) Wright.
She was a graduate of Juniata College, Huntingdon, and New York University, where she earned a master's degree in music. She taught for one year in Pennsylvania before spending 32 years in Ohio teaching music. She was both elementary and high school supervisor and traveled to 10 country schools teaching music.
In 1968 she moved to Arizona where she taught school for another 15 years, retiring in 1983 at age 70. She continued with private piano students and taught until just six weeks prior to her death.
In Arizona she was instrumental in establishing the Douglas Library and was active in the English Speaking Union and the Society of Arts and Letters. She also founded the Local Poetry Society and salvaged the Grand Theater in Douglas.
She also owned King's Grocery and the Standard Oil Station at Ray's Corners, Ohio, from 1936 to 1968. The property was donated to the Lenox Historical Society and now is the Lenox Rural Museum.
She was the widow of Howard E. King, who died May 7, 1973.
Surviving are a sister, Ruth Stokes of Jefferson, Ohio, and a niece, Nancy Kessner of Boston, Mass.
Burial was in the family plot at Ray's Corner.
Carrie E. Kinzer, 92, of Newport RR 3 died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born Sept. 12, 1906 in Howe Twp. to the late Ira M. and Susie (Wagner) Shull.
She had worked for the former Newport Manufacturing Co. and retired from the former International Ladies Garment Workers Union; enjoyed crafts and sewing; was a member and past college regent of Moose Lodge 1562; and a member of Wila United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of Kenneth E. Kinzer.
Surviving are two sons, James W. of Mechanicsburg and Ralph M. of Coventry, R.I.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary J. Stydinger, and a grandson, Doug Stydinger.
Services were held Oct. 30 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Aden Wertz officiating. Burial was in Wila Cemetery.

The Rev. Earl S. Kipp, 93, of Brethren Village, Neffsville, formerly of Newport, died Monday, Feb. 9, 1998 in the village.
He retired as pastor from Mount Olivet Church of the Brethren, Newport, and also retired as principal from Newport High School, where he was a former teacher. He was a graduate of Newport High School, Elizabethtown College and Columbia University. He was a member of East Fairview Church of the Brethren, Manheim, the National Education Association, National Retired Teachers Association and Perry County Historical Society.
He was the widower of Dorothy Burngard Kipp.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Charles M. of Manomet, Mass., and Dr. James E. of Harrisburg; a daughter, Doris K. Powers of Turnersville, N.J.; a brother, Roscoe E. of Newport; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 14 in the Brethren Village chapel. Burial was in Newport Cemetery. Heisey Funeral Home, Lititz, handled arrangements.
