Carmel V. Mutzabaugh Sr., 54, of Miller Twp., Newport RR 2, died Saturday, May 16, 1998, at home.
He was born March 22, 1944 in Wheatfield Twp. to John Mutzabaugh of Duncannon and the late Emma Mutzabaugh.
He was an employee of Commonwealth Concrete, Harrisburg.
In addition to his father, surviving are his wife, Kim Mutzabaugh; three sons, Carmel Jr. of Millerstown, Keith of Newport and Dezoir of Florida; a stepson, Jeremy Weldon of Newville; three daughters, Pam and Tonya, both of Millerstown, and Amber, at home; four brothers, Ken, John, Vern and Forrest, all of Duncannon; five sisters, Virginia Vinette, Geraldine McCrone and Myrtle Smith, all of Duncannon, Annie Busfield of Newport and Effie Shupp of Harrisburg; five grandchildren; and a step-grandson.
Services were held May 19 in Boyer Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Harry Roush officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miller Twp.
John Messimer Myers, 83, of New Bloomfield RR 2 died Monday, March 9, 1998 at home.
He was born Dec. 25, 1914 in Centre Twp. to the late John A. and Ida Mae (Clouser) Myers.
He retired from the former U.S. Steel Corp. and was a retired farmer; a 1932 graduate of the former New Bloomfield High School; a Navy veteran of World War II; and a member of Incarnation United Church of Christ, Newport, and Adams Lodge 319 F&AM, New Bloomfield.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille Myers; two daughters, Karen Miller of New Bloomfield and Judith Thompson of Camp Hill; a stepdaughter, Marion Schultz of Gettysburg; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 12 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Revs. Richard Henry and John Bonebreak officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Kenneth Leroy Myers, 86, of N. Main Street, Marysville, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He retired from the former Penn Central Railroad and was affiliated with Bethany United Methodist Church, Marysville.
Surviving are his wife, Marguerite C. Roth Myers; two daughters, Barbara J. Hill of Marysville and Sharon A. Strite of Harrisburg; two sisters, Anna Rice of Marysville and Ruth Hartman of Harrisburg; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 7 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

Richard A. "Button" Myers Sr., 56, of Landisburg RR 1 died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998 at home.
He was born Oct. 4, 1942 at Spruce Creek, Huntingdon County, to Lorene (Cronemiller) Myers of Spruce Creek and the late Lester Myers Sr.
He formerly worked at Carolina Freight, Carlisle; was a member of the Army Reserves and Schaefferstown Historic Association; entered horses in plowing competitions; and enjoyed activities with his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Linda J. Philage Myers; two sons, Richard A. Jr. of Mechanicsburg and Dustin J. of Shermans Dale; a daughter, C. Yvette Myers-Hanks of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Donna Gill of Shippensburg and Mary Fink of Spruce Creek; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 29 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. E. Levain Fouse and Paul Anderson officiating. Burial was in St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Landisburg RR 1.

William B. "Deacon" Myers, 74, of West Cedar Street, Palmyra, formerly of Newport, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998 at home.
He retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation; was an Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient; and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 177, Newport Social Order of Owls, Moose Lodge 1562 and the Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine Smetana Myers; and three sisters, Louise Bell of Duncannon, Betty Geib of Hummelstown and Dorothy Reichenbach.
Services were held Sept. 4 in his church. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.
Myers Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.

Joyce F. Nash, 80, of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2 died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998 at home.
She was born Feb. 24, 1917 in Greenwood Twp., Juniata Twp., to the late Mathias and Lizzie (Clark) Feltman.
She had been employed as a seamstress at the former H.D. Bobb Factory and the Nite Kraft Factory, both in Sunbury, and Eileen Hope Manufacturing Co., of Liverpool and Duncannon; was a Protestant; and a member of the Richfield Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Richard T. "Dick" Nash; a brother, Howard Feltman of Selinsgrove RR 1; and a half-brother, Herbert Feltman of Selinsgrove.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William Feltman; and two sisters, Stella Yeakley and Emma Schrawder.
Services were held Jan. 29 in Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with the Rev. Raymond D. Neitz officiating. Burial was in St. Peter's U.C.C. Cemetery, Millerstown RR 2.
Richard F. Neff, 68, of Lincoln Street, Duncannon, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He retired from McGuire's Garage and was an Army veteran of the Korean War with two Purple Hearts.
Surviving are his wife, Alva P. Hammaker Neff; four sons, Earl of Maytown, Darwin of Harrisburg, Richard of Duncannon and Michael of Newport; two daughters, Connie Foster of Duncannon and Tina Orth of Harrisburg; two sisters, A. Jean Kroh of Marysville and Dolly L. Neff of Duncannon; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 15 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial, with military honors, was in Hill Cemetery, New Buffalo.
Herman E. Neidigh, 82, of West Short Cut Road, Newport, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
He retired from Snap-On Tools and was a farmer and an Army veteran.
Surviving are two brothers, Wayne C. and Arthur W., both of Newport.
Services were held Sept. 18 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
