Betty C. Nipple, 73, of Ickesburg RR 1 died Friday, May 22, 1998 at home.
She was born Aug. 15, 1924 in Saville Twp. to the late William A. and Nellie (Murray) Weibley.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ickesburg and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ickesburg Fire Company.
Surviving are her husband, Harold E. Nipple; a son, James R. of Ickesburg; two sisters, Helen Goodling and Jean Adams, both of Carlisle; three brothers, William Weibley of Carlisle, and Scott Weibley and Stanley "Jake" Weibley, both of Loysville; and two grandchildren, Amy R. Comp of Loysville and Michael J. Nipple of Ickesburg.
Services were held May 26 in her church with the Rev. Karen Easterly officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Loysville.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.

Timothy L. Noll, 47, of Monroeville, formerly of Newport, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born Oct. 9, 1950 in Harrisburg to the late Dale E. and Betty (Britcher) Noll.
He was a former employee of Fry Communications, Mechanicsburg; a graduate of Newport High School; and a member of Landisburg Church of God.
He was the widower of Darlene Morrison Noll.
Surviving are a son, Christopher M., with whom he lived; a brother, Rickey A. of Carlisle; and a sister, Heidi A. Shultz of Harrisburg.
Services were held Sept. 3 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Lisa A. Nulter, 35, of Willow Street, Marysville, died Sunday, July 12, 1998 in Harrisburg Hospital.
She was a computer supervisor for the state House of Representatives, a graduate of Trinity High School and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Marysville.
Surviving are her husband, Kevin P. Nulter; a son, Jacob P., at home; her parents, Marlin T. and Madeline Supko Decker of Duncannon; and three sisters, Wendy Decker of Marysville, Susan Brooks of Allentown and Christine Steltz of Lancaster.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 15 in her church. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.
Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, handled arrangements.

Rye Twp. supervisor Karl D. "Sonny" Palm, 49, of Valley Road, Marysville, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was the son of the late Clarence and Geraldine (Radabaugh) Palm.
He was the owner of Valley Construction Company, Rye Twp.; a Rye Twp. supervisor; an Army veteran; and a wildlife lover and outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and nature.
Surviving are a companion, Amber J. Warren, and her daughter, Tiffany; two sisters, Sharon L. Delancey of Rye Twp. and Darlene C. Stabley of Harrisburg; and four brothers, Dennis W. Radabaugh of Enola, Harvey M. Shuler of Shermans Dale, Dale F. Palm and William R. Palm, both of Rye Twp.
Services were held Oct. 26 in the Wesley United Methodist Church, Marysville. Burial was on his farm in Rye Twp.

Diane Cooper Paroda, 43, of Mountain Road, New Bloomfield RR 1, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born May 1, 1955 in Harrisburg to Doris K. Cooper of Duncannon and the late Max C. Cooper.
She worked for Highmark, was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Duncannon, and a graduate of Susquenita High School.
Surviving are her husband, James F. Paroda; a son, Jamie of Dillsburg; a daughter, Kristi L. of New Bloomfield RR 1; two brothers, William E. Cooper of Mifflinburg and Lynn C. Cooper of Snellville, Ga.; two sisters, Suzanne C. Brown of Duncannon and Joanne C. Murray of Enola; nieces and nephews; and one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Services were held Aug. 30 in her church with the Rev. Robert Wittlinger officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.

Ida Lehra Portzline, 64, of Susquehanna Twp., Liverpool RR 1 died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998 at home.
She was born Jan. 14, 1934 in Monroe Twp., Juniata County, to the late Charles and Cathryn (Sweigart) Spade.
She had attended the Watts schoolhouse, Monroe Twp.; attended Oriental Church, Mount Pleasant Mills RR 2; and was a member of the Liverpool Ambulance League.
She was the widow of George Franklin Portzline, who died Sept. 29, 1991.
Surviving are three sons, Joseph L. and Randy A. Spade and Gary A. Portzline, all of Liverpool RR 1; a daughter, Ivy Lynn Pollock of Duncannon RR 4; two brothers, Kenneth Spade of Richfield RR 1 and Raymond Spade of Liverpool RR 2; two sisters, Edna Jones of Middletown and Cathryn Pannebaker of Thompsontown RR; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Charles and James Edward Spade and twins Paul E. and Robert S. Spade in infancy; three sisters, Emma Minium, Maude Reynolds and Mae E. Spade in infancy; two half-brothers, Earl and Aarol Spade; and one grandson, Cory L. Spade.
Services were held Feb. 10 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial was in Arbogast's Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills RR 2.

Emily C. Potter, 77, of Pennell's Church Road, Duncannon, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born Nov. 30, 1920 in Wheatfield Twp. to the late David and Bertha (Reed) Way.
She retired as a cafeteria cook from Susquenita High School, was a retired farmer and a member of Logania Church of God.
Surviving are her husband, Jesse B. Potter; two sons, Thomas L. Way and Jack L. Potter, both of Duncannon; and two granddaughters.
Services were held Aug. 7 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Bernard Fortna officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.

Kenneth L. Predix, 42, of Duncannon, formerly of Marysville, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998 in the Susquehanna Center, Harrisburg.
He retired as a printer and supply manager from Professional Insurance Agents, Mechanicsburg; was a graduate of Susquenita High School and Central Penn Business School; and a former member of Marysville Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, AnnaMarie C. McNulty Predix; two sons, Nathan L. and Benjamin L., and a daughter, Christine M., all of Duncannon; his father, Raymond L. Predix Sr. of Duncannon; a sister, Kathleen A. Bolden of Duncannon; and two brothers, Raymond L. Jr. of Duncannon and Larry E. of York.
Services were held Aug. 21 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.
