TERRY A. ROWE
Terry A. Rowe, 21, of Millerstown RR 1 died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998 as the result of an automobile accident in Tuscarora Twp.
He was born May 28, 1977 in Camp Hill.
He was the service manager at Curtis Ford-Mercury in New Bloomfield, and was a 1996 graduate of Greenwood High School, Millerstown. His favorite hobbies were automobiles, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his parents, Henry and Maureen E. Clark Rowe, with whom he lived; three sisters, Kathy S. Trout of Red Lion, Debra L. Nelson of Manheim and Stacey L. Starnowsky of Marysville; and a brother, Ross B. of York.
Services were held Sept. 29 in Central Baptist Church, Millerstown, with the Rev. Ronald L. Doverspike officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2040 Linglestown Road, Suite 106, Harrisburg 17110, or to Ickesburg Sportsmen's Association, Ickesburg 17037.

GLADYS E. ROY
Gladys Elizabeth Roy, 86, of Ickesburg, formerly of Elkins, W. Va., died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998 at the home of a daughter in Ickesburg.
She was born July 2, 1911 at Montrose, W. Va., to the late John H. and Rebecca A. (Canfield) Wamsley.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse at Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins, and Denmar State Hospital, Marlington, W. Va.; and attended Orlena Methodist Church, Gilman, W. Va.
She was the widow of Earle Joe Roy, who died in October 1955.
Surviving are seven daughters, Lois Brown, Newport News, Va., Winifred L. Arneson, Clark, S.D., Eileen DiCarlo, Wake Forest, N.C., Eloise A. Blosser, Ickesburg, Karen Booth, Canal Fulton, Ohio, Priscilla Moyer, Elkins, and Beverly Martin, Elliottsburg; a brother, Burley Wamsley, Fairmont, W. Va.; two sisters, Freda Hayhurst, Fairmont, W. Va., and Kathleen Teets, Elkins; 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Neil G.; and two daughters, Eleanor D. Bender and Carolyn L. Roy.
Services were held Feb. 4 in F.E. Runner Funeral Home, Elkins, with the Rev. Jonas Johnson officiating. Burial was in Little Arlington Cemetery, near Elkins.
Local arrangements were handled by Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville.

EDNA M. ROYER
Edna M. Royer, 97, of New Bloomfield RR 1 died Wednesday, June 17, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born Aug. 4, 1900 in Perry County to the late James and Florence (Eisenhower) Whisler.
She was the widow of Charles A. Royer.
Surviving are a nephew, Ralph Whisler, with whom she lived; a sister, Sylvia Mark of Hoernerstown; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 19 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Alan Foor officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Village Nursing Home, 213 E. Main St., New Bloomfield 17068.

DOROTHY E. RUBLE
Dorothy E. Ruble, 88, of New Bloomfield RR 2 died Monday, March 23, 1998 at home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1910 in Lack Twp., Juniata County, to the late James A. and Mary (Elizabeth) Kirk.
She a retired seamstress for the former Rae-Sel Textiles, Port Royal, and a Methodist.
She was the widow of John Ruble, who died in 1975.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Williams of Port Royal; two sons, Scott D. of Mifflin and Dennis G. of New Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Ruble, and a brother, Merle B. Kirk.
Services were held March 26 in Henry Funeral Home, Honey Grove. Burial was in McCullochs Mills Cemetery.

BETTY M. RUDY
Betty M. Rudy, 66, of Duncannon RR 2 died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born Dec. 10, 1931 in Huntingdon County to the late Melvin F. and Sara Mae (Foltz) Howell.
She retired from the state Department of Transportation and was a former employee of Duncannon Dress Co.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph Leroy Rudy Sr.; four sons, Ralph L. Jr., Charles C. and Randy E., all of Duncannon, and Daryl L. of Maytown; four daughters, Joanne L. Myers, Susan E. McKelvey and Betty Jane Shaffer, all of Duncannon, and Judy A. Hayman of Bressler; four brothers, Donald Howell of Marysville, Elmer Howell of Newport, and Ralph and George Howell, both of Duncannon; three sisters, Helen Dorman of Richmond, Va., and Beatrice Rudy and Geraldine Holley, both of Newport; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 15 in Newport Assembly of God with the Rev. Charles Shunk officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

GRACE M. RUMBAUGH
Grace M. Rumbaugh, 91, of Hickory Drive, Duncannon, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born Sept. 17, 1907 in Penn Twp. to the late William H. and Annie (File) Summy.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was the widow of Charles F. Rumbaugh.
Surviving are one son, Carl E. of Duncannon; a stepson, Ernest Rumbaugh of Scotia, N.Y.; two daughters, Mary E. Dardell of Shiremanstown and Faye M. Rumbaugh, with whom she lived; one stepdaughter, Anna Summy of Grantville; seven grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 22 step-great-grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; and three foster great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, in the funeral home with pastor Thomas Pickett officiating. Burial will be Union Cemetery, Duncannon.

MARY A. RUSHO
Mary A. Rusho, 69, of McAlisterville RR 2 died Wednesday, July 15, 1998 in Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
She was born Aug. 16, 1928 in Greenwood Twp., Juniata County, to the late Park A. and Ethel (Ferguson) Myers.
She graduated from Millerstown High School in 1946. She had been a seamstress with Lyons Fashions, McAlisterville, and then employed in the housekeeping department of the State Hospital, Harrisburg, until her retirement in 1994. She also worked in the concession stands at the Port Royal Speedway for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, McAlisterville RR 2, and the McAlisterville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She was the widow of John M. Rusho, who died March 2, 1997.
Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Rusho of Cocolamus; six brothers, Howard Myers and Kenneth Myers, both of Millerstown RR, Paul Myers of Mechanicsburg, Donald Myers of Mifflintown, and Earl Myers and James Myers of Newport; three sisters, Anna Willow of Liverpool, Jean Newman of Mechanicsburg and Jane Miller of Newport; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe Myers. Services were held July 18 in Sheaffer Funeral Home, McAlisterville, with the Rev. Ronald E. Landis officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, RR 2, Box 2395, McAlisterville 17049.

CLAYTON W. RUSS
Clayton Wesley Russ, 91, of Marysville, died Friday, March 13, 1998 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He retired from the state Tax Department and previously worked as a tax accountant with Lee J. Brennaman in Shiremanstown; was a member of the Overview Anglers Club; and resided at Kinkora Pythian Nursing Home, Duncannon, six months prior to his death.
He was the widower of Emma Hoffman Russ. Surviving are a sister, Ruth Heckel of Buffalo, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery, Camp Hill.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.
