Frank A. Stinehart, 58, of Liverpool RR 1 died Sunday, April 5, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born May 1, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Frank and Laura (Ames) Stinehart.
He attended Cleveland schools; was a graduate of Ohio Military Institute; a staff sergeant and three-tour Army veteran of the Vietnam War and recipient of the Vietnam Gallantry Cross; a Catholic; worked part-time at Kwik-Fill service station, Duncannon; was service officer of Liverpool American Legion; and a member of Millerstown Moose, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 49 and Newport Owls.
He was the widower of Frances Marie Ramedia Stinehart, who died March 27, 1996.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Lee Foreman of Liverpool RR 1 and Frances L. Bruno of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside services with military honors were held April 9 in Barner's (St. John) Lutheran Cemetery, Liverpool RR 1, with Robert Thompson officiating.
Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, handled arrangements.

Inez V.J. Stoke, 84, formerly of Loysville, died Monday, Aug. 3, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born Oct. 4, 1913 in New Germantown to the late David B. and Goldie E. (Tressler) Stambaugh.
She was a homemaker; member of New Bloomfield United Methodist Church; and a former member of the Blain Fire Company Auxiliary.
She was the widow of B. Lee Stoke, who died Oct. 3, 1996.
Surviving are two sons, Elwood T. of New Cumberland and David F. of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Patricia A. Reisinger of Blain and Donna L. Bistline of Summerton, S.C.; a sister, Rhobie C. Smith of Seattle, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 7 in her church with the Rev. Donald Morgan officiating. Burial was Blain Cemetery.

Margaret Dickinson Stoner, 81, of Harrisburg, died Thursday, Feb. 19,1998 at her home.
She was born Aug. 30, 1916 in Westerly, R.I., to the late Herbert and Ellen (Couch) Martin.
She was a retired statistical researcher for the Joint State Government Commission-Commonwealth of Pa.; a member of Paxton Presbyterian Church and president of its Womens Bible Class, and a member of the Paxton Civic Club.
She was the widow of T. Harvey Stoner.
She is survived by one son, Robert L. Dickinson of Clarence Center, N.Y.; two daughters, Sheryl L. Heim of Camp Hill and Deborah L. Dickinson of Loysville; two stepsons, Thomas H. Stoner of Reading and William Stoner of Old Saybrook, Conn.; three stepdaughters, Victoria Ogden of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Dorothy Smith of State College and Janet Sbihli of Japan; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 21 in her church. Burial was in Paxton Churchyard, Harrisburg.
Neill Funeral Home, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

Paul L. Stouffer, 78, of Pisgah Road, Shermans Dale, Spring Twp., died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born April 4, 1920 in Perry County.
He was a retired employee of C. H. Masland and Sons, Carlisle, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1299, Carlisle.
Surviving are one son, Paul S. Reich, at home; two half-sisters, Susan M. Roberts of Cumberland, Md., and Ellamae Bloser of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; and one half-brother, William J. Brownawell of Newville.
He was preceded in death by three half-sisters, Betty J. Brownawell, Beatrice R. Murphy and Esther E. Watson.
Services were held Aug. 15 in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, with the Rev. Howard A. Kerstetter officiating.
Burial was in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Carroll Twp.
Charles M. Stump, 76, of E. Penn Street, Carlisle, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born July 17, 1921 in Philadelphia to the late Charles T. and Caroline J. (Carr) Stump.
He retired from TRW of Harrisburg and formerly worked for Frog Switch Mfg. Co. of Carlisle; of the Catholic faith; and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mary V. Brownawell Adams Stump; a stepdaughter, Ann M. Rice of Elliottsburg RR 1; a stepson, William Adams of Carlisle; a brother, Arthur of Philadelphia; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the convenience of the family.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, handled arrangements.
Charles T. Strawser, 79, of Thompsontown RR 1, formerly of Newport, died Wednesday, April 8, 1998 in Lewistown Hospital.
He was born Aug. 18, 1918 in Perry County to the late Cloyd and Daisy (Lesher) Strawser.
He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are a sister, Grace Myers, and a brother, Paul Lesher, both of Newport; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Cloyd.
Services were held April 13 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Paul Case officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Beatrice E. Strohm, 77, of Duncannon RR 4 died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was born Jan. 14, 1921 in Harrisburg to the late Abraham L. and Ella E. (Metzger) Snyder.
She was a member of Watts Weslyan Church. She was the widow of Edward F. Strohm.
Surviving are a son, Michael of Duncannon; a daughter, Joanna High of Texas; a brother, Robert Snyder of Harrisburg; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 27 in Boyer Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Fred Brungart officiating. Burial was in Shoop's Cemetery.

J. Harold Stydinger, 74, of Millerstown RR 1 died Friday, June 5, 1998 in Community General Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born March 9, 1924 in Juniata County to the late Jacob Frank and Esther (Reisinger) Stydinger.
He retired from Stydinger Excavating and was a member of Wila United Methodist Church.
He was the widower of Mary J. Kinzer Stydinger. Surviving are a son, Dale A., and two daughters, Denise A. Comp and Donna L. Gantt, all of Millerstown RR 1; a brother, Walter of Elliottsburg RR 1; three sisters, Virginia Harris of New Bloomfield, Bessie McGill of Millerstown RR 1 and Pearl Hoffert of Reading; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Doug L. Stydinger.
Services were held June 8 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Aden Wertz officiating. Burial was in Wila Cemetery.
