Michael J. Supko Jr., 54, of Basin Hill Road, Duncannon, died Sunday, April 19, 1998 at home.
He was born March 20, 1944 in Penn Twp. to the late William and Gertrude (Burkey) Supko.
He was retired from the former TRW, Harrisburg, and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Marysville.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene Shotsberger Supko; three sons, Michael J. Jr., Jason M. and William M., all at home; two brothers, Randolph Supko of Marysville and Richard Supko of Duncannon; and one sister, Madeline Decker of Duncannon.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held April 22 in his church with Father John Greaney officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

John M. Sutton, 71, of N. Middleton Road, Carlisle, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born Dec. 2, 1926 to the late James L. and Clyde Edith (Carter) Sutton Brown.
He was a retired SFC in the Army with more than 28 years service and a veteran of World War II, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War; a former employee of Wolfe Bus Company; and a member of American Legion Post 101, Carlisle, and the North Middleton Senior Citizens.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Lydia I. McClintock Sutton, four daughters, Bonnie L. Handshew of Spring Grove, Lydia E. Zimmerman of Newport, Barbara Fisher of Tennessee and Shawn M. Tuttle of Carlisle; two brothers, James L. of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jesse E. of Ralston, Neb.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 4 in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, with the Rev. Robert A. Klinger officiating. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Ruth Elizabeth Swartz, 70, of Richfield RR 2 died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998 at home.
She was born Nov. 20, 1927 in Susquehanna Twp., Juniata County, to the late Morris F. Sr. and Jennie (Forry) Kerstetter.
She graduated from Millerstown High School in 1946. She was a former employee of the governor's personnel division in Harrisburg and Juniata County School District at Susquehanna Elementary School, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Richfield United Methodist Church, Richfield Ambulance League and Richfield Fire Company.
She was the widow of Amos A. Swartz, who died Aug. 28, 1991. Surviving are four brothers, Morris F. Kerstetter Jr. of Richfield RR 2, Bernard T. Kerstetter of McAlisterville RR 1, Glenn E. Kerstetter of Millerstown RR 2 and Ralph M. Kerstetter of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2; and nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 14 at Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with the Rev. Stewart F. Bingman officiating. Burial was in Dressler's Ridge Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2.

Marguerite M. Sweeney, 77, of Woodside, New York (Borough of Queens) died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998 at the home of her sister-in-law, Mildred Miller of Fox Hollow Road, Shermans Dale.
She was born April 30, 1921 in Bellwood, Pa.
She was a retired secretary for United Press International, New York City and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Woodside, New York.
She was the widow of Richard Sweeney.
Surviving are a brother, Patsy Veign of Farrell, Pa.; a sister, Ann Del Grosso of Altoona; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 12 in St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Lateer officiating. Burial was in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.

Harold C. Swinn, 57, of Pierce Road, Marysville, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998 in Waymart Health Center, Waymart.
He was self-employed and an Army veteran.
Surviving are a brother, Russell E. of Carlisle; and seven sisters, Beatrice E. Flow of Parkland, Fla., Louella M. Duncan, Ruth E. Smith, Grace P. Richwine, Martha E. Frey and Shirley M. Shellehamer, all of Marysville, and Alma C. Smiley of Shermans Dale.
Services were held Oct. 12 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Griers Point Cemetery, Rye Twp.
Dorothy Taylor, 82, of Berry's Personal Care Center, Mifflintown, and formerly of S. Market Street, Millerstown, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 1998 in Lewistown Hospital.
She was born Feb. 21, 1916 at Sunbury to the late Truman L. and Charlotte (Dunkleberger) Kerlin.
She was retired from the state Department of Transportation, Harrisburg; a former employee of Eileen Hope Dress Factory, Newport; and a member of Presbyterian Church of Perry Valley, Millerstown.
She was the widow of Russell F. Taylor, who died May 3, 1991. Surviving are a son, David K. of Newport RR 1; two daughters, Helen D. Sheaffer of Liverpool RR 1 and Peggy J. McDonald of Carlisle; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Russell T., and a sister, Thelma Bogar.
Services were held Aug. 12 in her church with the Rev. Nancy McClure officiating. Burial was in Millerstown Riverview Cemetery.
Nickel Funeral Home, Millerstown, handled arrangements.
Sylvia M. Wagner, 80, of Lady Lake, Fla., formerly of Duncannon, died Thursday, April 9, 1998 at Leesburg Regional Hospital, Leesburg, Fla.
She was born April 9, 1918 in Duncannon to the late Walter and Helen Lepperd.
Surviving are her husband, John "Jack" Wagner; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
Local arrangements were handled by Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon.
Violete K. Wagner, 83, of Old Mill Road, Forks Twp., Easton, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1998 in Middlesex Hospital, Middletown, Conn.
She was born Oct. 9, 1914 in Palmyra to the late Hooke and Lula V. (Orris) Kiner.
She had been a sales clerk at the former Laubachs Department Store in Easton for many years before retiring; a graduate of Duncannon High School; and a member of Duncannon United Church of Christ.
She was the widow of John Y. Wagner, who died in June 1979.
Surviving are two sons, John K. of Easton and David H. of Marlborough, Conn.; a sister, Reta Stoner of Duncannon; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Kiner, who died in January 1998.
Services were held Aug. 19 in Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Burial was in Northhampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
