Mary K. Grove Dissinger, 84, of Kings Highway, Marysville, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was a past grand chief of the Pythian Sisters Grand Temple of Pennsylvania, a past supreme state representative and a member of Temple 151, Marysville; and a member of Marysville Church of God and the Golden Age Club.
She was the widow of Kenneth L. Dissinger. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara J. Stokes, and a son, Donald L., both of Marysville; a brother, Melvin K. Grove Jr. of Dover; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Feb. 20 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

Robert W. DeLancy, 88, of S. Market Street, Millerstown, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998 at home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1909 in Millerstown to the late T. Frue and Edna (Stitzel) DeLancy.
He retired from the former Pennsylvania Railroad with 38 years service, had served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and had been a movie projectionist and telephone operator.
He was a graduate of the former Millerstown High School and a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church, Millerstown Fire Company and Ambulance League and the Retired Railroad Employees Organization.
He was the widower of C. Ruth Steerman DeLancy.
Surviving are three daughters, Marlene C. Leister of Millerstown, Dixie L. Baer of Mechanicsburg and Monta K. Brown of Tacoma, Wash.; a sister, June Beward of Edgewood, Md.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 13 in his church with the Revs. Arthur Montgomery and Donald Bailor officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.

Willard Watts Dressler, 93, of Millerstown RR 2 died Thursday, March 26, 1998 in Zendt Home, Richfield, where he had resided since February 1997.
He was born in Monroe Twp., Juniata County, on Dec. 5, 1904 to the late Thomas J. and Hannah (Watts) Dressler.
He attended Quaker Run Grammar Schoolhouse in Monroe Twp. He retired in the early 1970s from PennDOT, where he worked on road maintenance in Juniata County for 14 years. Prior to that, he was a Monroe Twp. supervisor for 11 years.
He was a member, former Sunday school superintendent and administrative board member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Millerstown RR 2; and a member of Richfield ambulance and fire companies.
He was the widower of Mary Agnes Minium Dressler, who died June 7, 1997.
Surviving are three sons, Herbert B. of Liverpool, George H. of Millerstown RR 2 and Glenn T. of Cocolamus HCR 63; three daughters, Rosetta M. Urich of Newport RR 1, E. Jane Kerstetter of Millerstown RR 2 and J. Faye Lauver of Richfield; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma Jean Dressler, on Nov. 13, 1976; two grandsons, Stanley Eugene Dressler in March 1948, and Ronald Eugene Kerstetter in Nov. 1960; six brothers, John, Asher, Grover, William, Boyd and Lehman Dressler; and seven sisters, Daisy Reynolds, Barbara Rowe, Mazie Fogle, Kathryn "Katie" Troup, Martha McDonald, Ida Miller and Sarah Elizabeth Dressler.
Services were held March 30 in his church with the Rev. Dr. Almon D. Baird officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.

William W. Dodson Jr., 76, of Lemoyne and Marco Island, Fla., died Friday, July 10, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born Sept. 5, 1921 in Northumberland to the late William Sr. and Mary (Meiser) Dodson.
He was president of Merchants and Business Men's Mutual Insurance Co. and a board member.
He was an officer in the Army Air Corps during World War II and in Pennsylvania's 28th Division during the Korean Conflict, serving as a pilot.
He was a graduate of Harrisburg Academy, Duke University and Dickinson School of Law.
He was a member of American, Pennsylvania and Dauphin County bar associations, admitted to Supreme and Dauphin County courts in 1949, and member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, and former chairman of the council; trustee of Harrisburg Academy, YMCA board member, and member of Perseverance Lodge 21 F&AM, Trout Unlimited, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Country Club of Harrisburg, West Shore Country Club, Island Country Club and Hideaway Beach Club.
Surviving are his wife, June Harris Dodson; a son, Lt. Col. William W. III, M.D., of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Cynthia Dodson Popp of Sunapee, N.H.; a brother, Charles W. of Blain; and three grandsons.
Memorial services were held July 14 in his church with the Rev. Dr. J. Stewart Hardy officiating. Burial was in Trinity Evangelical Church Columbarium.

Dudley F. Edwards Jr., 62, of Fox Hollow Road, Shermans Dale, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 1998 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born April 23, 1936 in New York to the late Dudley and Mary (Mulwane) Edwards.
He was an employee of Woolcox Forging, Mechanicsburg, and a member of Young's United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel M. Edwards; a stepson, Francis Donovan Jr. of Millerstown; a stepdaughter, Ginger Ann Donovan of Shermans Dale; and two stepchildren.
Graveside services were held Oct. 20 in Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Woolever officiating.

Mary Florence Evans, 76, of Spring Road, Carlisle Springs, died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998 at Carlisle Hospital.
She was born April 18, 1922 in Carroll Twp. to the late Charles L. and Bertha (Kitner) Smee.
She was a 1941 graduate of Carlisle High School; a retired employee of the former C. H. Masland & Sons, Carlisle; and a member and former Sunday school teacher of St. Matthias Lutheran Church, Carlisle Springs.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, John T. Evans; two sons, John T. Jr. of Carlisle and Darryl E. of Bowmansdale; two daughters, Avonne C. Clapsadl of Camp Hill and Karen L. Russell of Carlisle; three sisters, Olive Swanson of Red Oak, Iowa, Grace Hurley of Carlisle Springs and Anna Hockenberry of Shermans Dale; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Smee.
Services were held Nov. 2 in her church with the Rev. Sarah A Heintzelman officiating. Burial was in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.

Ralph Eugene Danner, 90, of State Road, Duncannon, died Sunday, June 14, 1998 at home.
He was a retired driver for Helms Motor Freight, an Army veteran and member of the Teamsters Union and Duncannon Senior Citizens.
Surviving are his wife, Cora A. Jagger Danner; a daughter, Shirley L. DiPaolo of Duncannon; two stepdaughters, Janet Brightbill of Etters and Nancy Rabin of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a stepson, William Mack of New Cumberland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 17 at Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

Luther F. Ehlman, 92, of Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Ickesburg RR 1, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at the village.
He was born Nov. 7, 1905 in Northeast Madison Twp. to the late Frank and Sarah (Dobbs) Ehlman.
He was a retired biology and science teacher in the Upper Freehold School District, Allentown, N.J. Prior to that he was a principal and part-time teacher at Susquehanna Twp. High School. For 12 years he taught chemistry and biology in Philadelphia at Brown College Preparatory School. He was a graduate of Shippensburg State College, and received a master's degree at Columbia University. He also accumulated credits at University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, University of Delaware, Penn State University and Bucknell University. He was a member of Messiah Village Chapel, Airstream Wally Byam Club, and a former member of Sandy Hill United Church of Christ, Loysville RR 1.
Surviving is his wife, Marie (Mayer) Ehlman, also of Messiah Village. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services were held March 21 in Messiah Village Chapel with pastor Janet Peifer officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Cemetery, Saville Twp.
