Robert L. Burch, 57, of N. Fourth Street, Newport, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born Aug. 16, 1942 in Bellefonte to Janet Burch of Bellefonte and the late Wellman L. Burch.
He was retired from Herre Brothers; an Army veteran; a Lutheran; a 1960 graduate of Bellefonte High School; life member of Logan Fire Company; a member of Perry County Archers; and active in promoting transplant awareness and liked fishing and racing and established the web site for the Port Royal Race Track.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Audrey Korman Burch; a son, Karl D. of Newport; a daughter, Kristina L. Burch of Birdsboro; two brothers, Walter of Glen Morgan, W.Va., and William of Millersburg; and a sister, Charlotte Larimer of Bellefonte.
Services were held Nov. 3 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Eric Yingst officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Union Cemetery, Bellefonte.

Anna M. Burke, 88, of New Bloomfield RR 2, formerly of Harrisburg, died Sunday, June 27, 1999 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was the widow of Malvern E. Burke.
Surviving are a daughter, Elsie Moyer of Shermans Dale; a sister, Pauline Davidson of Milroy; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 30 in Perry Village. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.
Annie E. Campbell, 80, of Newport RR 3 died Tuesday, March 9, 1999 at home.
She was born March 20, 1918 in Juniata Twp. to the late Thomas W. and Mary E. (Toomey) Reeder.
She was a member and secretary of the Perry County Fair Board; a member and president of the consistory of St. John United Church of Christ, Markelsville; and a member of the Subordinate, Community, Perry Valley, Pomona, Pennsylvania and National Grange units.
Surviving are her husband, S. Roy Campbell; two sons, Oscar W. and Wayne D., and a daughter, Mary Ann Smee, all of Newport RR 3; a brother, Thomas Reeder of New Bloomfield RR 2; four sisters, Pearle Blaine, Florence Barkley and Ruth Gantt, all of Newport, and Violet McAllister of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Keith Smee.
Services, including a grange service, were held March 13 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Donald Mason officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Grace M. Campbell, 89, formerly of Newport, died Thursday, April 22, 1999 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
She was born May 11, 1909 in Newport to the late George W. and Sara Jane (Billow) Beers.
She retired from the state Department of Revenue and was a member of Newport Church of God.
She was the widow of Samuel B. Campbell.
Surviving are a son, Robert of Wilmington, Del.; a daughter, Mildred Runk of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Verna Dowdrick of Duncannon; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William A. Campbell.
Graveside services were held April 26 in Newport Cemetery with the Rev. Cheryl Dorman officiating.
Myers Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.

Mary E. Carns, 91, formerly of Newport, died Monday, Aug. 2, 1999 in Thornwald Nursing Home, Carlisle.
She retired as principal of Lincoln School, Camp Hill; was a former teacher in Newport and Lewistown schools; and a graduate of Newport High School, the former Millersville State Teachers College and Penn State University.
She was a member and former organist of Market Street United Methodist Church, Newport; a board member of the Louise Beard Memorial Home; former secretary, treasurer and board member of the Newport Public Library; organized Newport's first Girl Scout troop (No. 42); and received a National Girl Scouts "Thanks" badge. She enjoyed watching Penn State football and the Atlanta Braves.
Surviving are nephews and nieces.
Services were held Aug. 7 in her church. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Paul R. Carpenter, 61, of Dulles Drive East, Ridley Park, Wormleysburg, died Saturday, April 3, 1999 in Hershey Medical Center.
He was born March 4, 1938 in Bedford, N.Y., to the late Valerie (LaPierre) Brinkerhoff and Paul R. Brinkerhoff of New York state. He later was adopted by Richard Carpenter, Valerie Brinkerhoff's second husband.
He had been a piano and organ instructor for Forte Music and an organist at the Army War College, Carlisle Barracks; was a graduate of a Philadelphia music college; a National Guard veteran; and enjoyed hiking and watching old movies.
In addition to his father, surviving are his wife, Faye Freet Carpenter, and a brother, Joris Brinkerhoff of Philadelphia.
Services were held April 6 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. John Schaertel officiating. Burial was in Hill Cemetery, Duncannon RR 4.
Glenn D. Carter, 89, of State Street, Lemoyne, died Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in the Renova Center, Lower Allen Twp., Cumberland County.
He was born May 25, 1909 in Philadelphia to the late Ray S. and Clara Rosana (Derrick) Carter.
He was a retired cabinetmaker and contractor.
He was the widower of Blanche Llewellyn Carter.
Surviving are a son, Donald L. Sr. of New Cumberland; a daughter, Constance C. Grenoble of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 29 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
Janet Eva Cash, 39, of Cook Road, Duncannon, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999 at her Wheatfield Twp. home.
She was born Aug. 11, 1960 in Trenton, N.J.
She was a graphic arts designer; a homemaker; a home-school mother; and a member of Perry Alliance Church, Shermans Dale.
Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Cash; a son, Colin Christopher, and a daughter, Sarah Lynn, both at home; her parents, Tibor and Eva Adrigan of Mercerville, N.J.; two sisters, Marian Underwood of Mt. Laurel, N.J., and Lillian Andres of Hamilton, N.J.
Services were held Dec. 11 in her church with the Rev. Patrick G. Port officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
Boyer Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.
