M. Corinne Rice, 97, formerly of Loysville RR 2, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born Aug. 4, 1901 to the late Nathaniel and Ellen (Woods) Gutshall.
She was a housewife and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Loysville.
Surviving are a daughter, Maryellen Nace of Loysville; a son, Dale C. Rice of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Nancy Palm of Ickesburg, Barbara Hench of Loysville, Judy Roth of Blain, Robert Nace of Loysville, Edna C. Thompson of Mifflintown and Rick L. Rice of Barrow, Alaska; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Lyons, Pearl Lyons and Izora Loy.
Services were held Sept. 30 in her church with the Rev. Kathleen Coleman officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
Mary C. Raubenstine, 92, of Hanover died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998 at the Brethren Home, New Oxford.
She was born March 17, 1906 in West Manheim Twp., Hanover, to the late Cleveland L. and Della Rachel M. (Bechtel) Barnhart.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church, Hanover, where she had taught Sunday school for many years, a member of the church's Women's Bible Study Class, a charter member of W.E.L.C.A., and a member of the Lutheran Home Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Walter S. Raubenstine; three sons, Harold W., Gerald B. and Nevin E., all of Hanover; one daughter, Evelyn M. Spotts of New Bloomfield; three sisters, Thelma Dean of Baltimore, Md., Romaine Copenhaver of Littlestown and Garma Dutterer of Silver Run, Md.; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Foglesong.
Services were held Sept. 10 in her church with the Revs. Ivan Mechtly and H. Thomas Miller officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
Kenworthy Funeral Home, Hanover, handled arrangements.

Mary E. "Betty" Robb, 69, of N. Carlisle Street, New Bloomfield, died Thursday, May 28, 1998 at home.
She retired from Arnold-Shucker Surgeons; was a volunteer at Bloomfield Library; and a member of the New Bloomfield Civic Club, League of Women Voters and Perry Council of the Arts.
Surviving are her husband, Herbert R. Robb; a son, G. Mitchell of Newport; a daughter, S. Tracy Lesser of Ardmore; and four grandchildren.
Services were held June 1 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Paul L. Richard, 88, of New Bloomfield RR 2 died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
He was born Sept. 10, 1910 in Elysburg to the late Dayton K. and Nettie E. (Rhodes) Richard.
He retired from the former Defense Depot, Mechanicsburg; was a former president of the New Bloomfield Lions Club; and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, New Bloomfield, and Selinsgrove Moose lodge.
He was the widower of R. Gladys Miller Richard.
Surviving are his wife, Joy B. Bailor Richard; four sons, Paul L. Jr., Jack R. and Kenneth W., all of Newport, and Stanley D. of Landisburg; a daughter, Janet G. Slusser of Strasburg; a stepdaughter, Darla Huber of Doylestown; two half-brothers, Glenn of Rochester, N.Y., and Dale of Havertown; 13 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 6 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Alan Foor officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, Loysville.

Rosie I. Reisinger, 84, of Landisburg died Tuesday, March 3, 1998 at Manor Care Health Services, Carlisle.
She was born Feb. 5, 1914 in Spring Twp. to the late Daniel and Minnie (Smith) Moore.
She was a member of Reibers Community Church, Shermans Dale. She was the widow of John V. Reisinger.
Surviving are two sons, William P. of Carlisle and James L. of Landisburg; three daughters, Esther M. Cleland of Carlisle, Martha R. Bolze of Landisburg and Lin P. Sheaffer of Shermans Dale; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held March 6 in her church with the Rev John G. Reisinger officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery. Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, handled arrangements.

Renie Raub, 74, formerly of Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998 in Statesville, N.C.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Raub of Statesville and formerly of Duncannon, a son, Ronald Raub of Statesville, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a sister, Jane Phillips of Homestead, Fla.
Services were held April 25 in Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel in Statesville. Burial was in Snow Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.
Terry A. Rowe, 21, of Millerstown RR 1 died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998 as the result of an automobile accident in Tuscarora Twp.
He was born May 28, 1977 in Camp Hill.
He was the service manager at Curtis Ford-Mercury in New Bloomfield, and was a 1996 graduate of Greenwood High School, Millerstown. His favorite hobbies were automobiles, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his parents, Henry and Maureen E. Clark Rowe, with whom he lived; three sisters, Kathy S. Trout of Red Lion, Debra L. Nelson of Manheim and Stacey L. Starnowsky of Marysville; and a brother, Ross B. of York.
Services were held Sept. 29 in Central Baptist Church, Millerstown, with the Rev. Ronald L. Doverspike officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.

Valera E. Rosener, 83, of Evergreen Street, Thompsontown, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998 in Lewistown Hospital.
She was born June 25, 1914 at McAlisterville to the late Roy D. and Mayme E. (Hainley) Long.
She formerly was employed as a cafeteria manager at E.H. Phillips Elementary School, Colonial Park, Harrisburg; and was a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church and Thompsontown Ambulance League.
She was the widow of Byron W. Rosener Jr., who died Sept. 27, 1995.
Surviving are a son, Byron W. III of Wexford; a daughter, Deborah M. Waunounou of Bridgewater, N.J.; a brother, Harry C. Long of Millerstown; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Feb. 8 in her church with the Rev. Arthur L. Montgomery officiating. Burial was in Millerstown Riverview Cemetery.
Nickel Funeral Home, Millerstown, handled arrangements.
Wayne E. Rice, 80, of Dicken Drive, Marysville, died Thursday, April 2, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He retired as a car inspector from Conrail and was a member of Marysville Church of God and the Perry County Bucktails Archery Club.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Mae Fortenbaugh Rice; two sons, Wayne E. II and Ronald W., both of Duncannon; a daughter, Peggy A. Sieg of Harrisburg; a sister, Margaret E. of Enola; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Service were held April 6 in his church. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.
Arlene M. Shaffer, 74, of S. Front Street, Liverpool, formerly of Liverpool RR 1, died Sunday, April 19, in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born April 30, 1923 at Liverpool RR 1, Juniata County, to the late William Maynard and Verna (Frymoyer) Hockenbroch.
She was a 1941 graduate of Liverpool High School; a seamstress for Liverpool Dress Factory; and a member of St. James United Methodist Church and its Sunday school class, Liverpool Senior Citizens and Ambulance League.
She was the widow of Clayton Stahl Shaffer, who died May 22, 1991.
Surviving are a son, Larry of Millerstown; two sisters, Betty Willow of Millerstown and Pauline Lenig of Liverpool; and three grandchildren, Jenny, Megan and Grace Sheaffer, all of Millerstown.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel A. Hoffman, who died Jan. 9, 1979.
Services were held April 22 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Arthur L. Montgomery officiating. Burial was in St. John's (Barners) Lutheran Cemetery.
