Creta Wright Gordon, 83, of Bellevue, Wash., died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 at home.
She was retired from the Federal government as a secretary to a physician and enjoyed flowers, cooking and travel.
Surviving are a sister, Marcella Dudley of Newport.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Delmont Wright.
Services were held Nov. 19 in Sunset Chapel, Green Funeral Home, Bellevue. Burial was in Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue.
C. Grace Graver, 92, formerly of Millerstown and Conestoga, died Saturday, July 24, 1999 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born March 17, 1907 in Tuscarora Twp. to the late Charles F. and Margaret (Reeder) McNaughton.
She was a devoted daughter, sister and wife. She helped her mother raise a large family, and helped her father with farming and the care of an apiary of 250 colonies of bees, plus the work with the honey and wax. She also assisted her husband in managing the Graver Store in Conestoga until and shortly after his death.
She was a member of St. Samuel's Lutheran Church, Newport, and its Pollyanna Class.
She was the widow of Alfred Graver.
Surviving are two brothers, C. Frank McNaughton of Elizabeth City, N.J., and Joseph R. McNaughton of Millerstown; and six sisters, Sarah Heim of Harrisburg, Florence Smith of Pottstown, Alda Gelbaugh and Jane Good, both of Millerstown, Nancy Johnson of Landisburg and Pearl Cauffman of Wila.
She was preceded in death by a brother, L. Ray McNaughton, and six sisters, Mary McNaughton, Viola Gintzer, Alice Mitchell, Clara Asper, Thelma Curt and Blanche Cable.
Services were held July 27 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Irene Friberg-Dussaq officiating. Burial was in River Corner Mennonite Cemetery, Conestoga.

Phyllis A. Rouch Green, 75, of Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Duncannon, formerly of Hummelstown, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999.
She was a former nurse's aide; a graduate of Hershey High School; and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Middletown Congregation.
She was the widow of Carter J. Green.
Surviving are four daughters, Bonnie S. Baine of Waynesboro, Barbara A. MacGee of Harrisburg, Audrey E. Egley of Mechanicsburg and Dorothy L. Keller of Halifax; a son, Thomas A. of Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 18 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Middletown. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Hummelstown, handled arrangements.
Ronald D. Gutshall, 66, of Harrisburg died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He retired from the Navy; was a veteran of the Korean War; had been a maintenance worker at the former Riverfront Inn and a driver for Penn Harris Taxi; and a past commander of Duncannon American Legion Post 340.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Mason Gutshall; a daughter, Sasha R., at home; four sons, Zachary D., at home, and Michael, William and Ronald D. Jr., all of Oklahoma; a stepdaughter, Shannon L. Mason of Harrisburg; his mother, Dorothy Sowers Platt of Duncannon; three sisters, Karen Patton of Harrisburg, Carol McMillian of Mechanicsburg and Phyllis Taylor of Delta; a brother, Marion of Hanover; eight grandchildren; and a step-granddaughter.
Services were held Dec. 3 in Neumyer Funeral Home, Harrisburg. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Mary Dunne Israel, 81, of Shermans Dale and St. Petersburg, Fla., died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999 in Todd Nursing Home, Carlisle.
She was a graduate of Olney High School, Philadelphia; retired from Carlisle Tire and Rubber Co.; and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Carlisle.
She was the widow of Frank Israel.
Surviving is a sister, Alice Armstrong of Shermans Dale.
Services will be held March 5 at her church. Entombment will be in Carlisle Mausoleum, Westminster Cemetery.
Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is handling arrangements.
Anna C. "Gertie"Johnson, 81, formerly of S. Front Street, Liverpool, died Saturday, May 8, 1999 at West Shore Health & Rehabilitation Center, Camp Hill.
She was born Oct. 12, 1917 in Perry County to the late Newton K. and Carrie B. (Holmes) Smith.
She was a Millerstown High School graduate; the operator for many years of Johnson's Tourist Home, housing construction workers working on the Routes 11-15 project; a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Liverpool, where she had assisted with summer Bible school and was a former choir member, Liverpool Senior Citizens; and had a citizen band radio name of "Flower Lady," because of her love for flowers, and was an accomplished knitter.
She was the widow of Harold E. "Sam" Johnson, who died Feb. 8, 1981.
Surviving are a son, Richard M. of Newport; two daughters, Suzanne Eckenrode of Camp Hill and Carol Gingrich of Dallastown; a sister, Virginia M. Books of Newport; four granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Edgar E. and Carl J.; two brothers, Carl and Charles Smith; and two sisters, Carrie B. Deckard and Mary E. Showers.
Services were held May 11 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Ray Hatcher officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Phoenie L. Lamont, 72, formerly of Duncannon RR 2, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999 in Stonebridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Duncannon.
She was born March 28, 1926 in Juniata County to the late Blaine H. and Marjorie (Price) Gable.
She retired as a nurse's aide from Blue Ridge Nursing Home and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Shermans Dale.
Surviving are her husband, Walter H. Lamont; four sons, Wilbur L. Hoffman of Camp Hill, Clarence J. Gable of Mount Holly, N.J., Leo L. Hoffman of Mechanicsburg and Stephen Hoffman of Swampscott, Mass.; two daughters, Rebecca Danser of Mount Holly and Victoria VanCise of Lewisburg, Tenn.; a brother, Russell Haskins of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 24 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with pastor Jerry Small officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Walter H. Lamont, 89, formerly of Duncannon RR 2, died Sunday, June 20, 1999 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born May 2, 1910 in Austin, Pa. to the late Harry H. and Malinda (Doll) Lamont.
He retired from the Navy Ships Parts Control Center; was an Army veteran of World War II; a member of DAV; and an avid hunter.
He was the widower of Nellie Lamont and Phoenie Lamont.
Surviving are four stepsons, Clarence Gable of Mount Holly, N.J., Wilbur Hoffman of Camp Hill, Leo Hoffman of Mechanicsburg and Stephen Hoffman of Swampscott, Mass., three stepdaughters, Louise Iddings of Texas, Rebecca Danser of Mount Holly and Victoria VanCise of Lewisburg, Tenn.; and several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Lamont.
Services were held June 22 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial, with military honors, was in Newport Cemetery.
