Dale R. Allison, 41, of Marysville died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000 in Hershey Medical Center.
He was a maintenance mechanic for Quaker Oats Co., Camp Hill.
Surviving are his former wife, Jane Rafferty; two sons, Eric M. and David P., both of Elizabethtown; three brothers, Zane J. of Underhill, Vt., Dean T. of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Gene P. of Lancaster; and two sisters, Cynthia J. Lowey of Fort Walton Beach and Lynne Ann Allison of Mobile, Ala.
Services were held Dec. 2 in Neill Funeral Home, Paxtang. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Shawn M. Ashman, 27, of Lancaster Street, Swatara Twp., died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000 at home.
He was born July 18, 1973 at Huntingdon.
He was a clerk for the state Revenue Department; a 1992 graduate of West Perry High School; and a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 518, Orbisonia.
Surviving are his parents, Richard L. Ashman Jr. and Darlene K. Doyle Ashman of Loysville RR 2; a brother, Rodney L. and a sister, Mandy L. Decker, both of Loysville; and his paternal grandparents, Richard L. and Madaline G. Noble Ashman of Orbisonia.
A memorial service was held Dec. 23 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. Roz Mason officiating.

Harry R. Bailey, 81, of Sunbury RR 3 died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000 in Loving Care Nursing Home, Selinsgrove.
He was born May 17, 1919 in Freeburg to the late Clarence and Ada (Steininger) Bailey.
He was a former farmer in Washington Twp, Snyder County, and had been employed by the Middleburg Tannery and Zimmer Homes in Selinsgrove; a member of Stonington Baptist Church, Paxinos RR 1; and enjoyed vegetable gardening.
He was the widower of Edith Kline Bailey, who died in 1979.
Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Ruth Kline Clark Bailey; four sons, Clarence of Northumberland RR 2, Carson of Port Trevorton, Maynard of Middleburg and David of Sunbury; a stepson, Charles Clark of Sunbury RR 3; eight daughters, Floretta Kratzer, Darlene Hubbert and Janet Mengle, all of Selinsgrove, Bernice Apple of Mt. Pleasant Mills, Marian Maneval of McAlisterville, Mary Dreese of Middleburg, Carol Dreese of Hummels Wharf and Kay Conklin of New Bloomfield; two stepdaughters, Gayle Tobin and Donna Price, both of Paxinos RR 1; a sister, June Clotfelter of Middleburg; 30 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald; two brothers, Harold and Ernest; a sister, Alice Hackenberg; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
Services were held Dec. 4 in his church with Rev. J. Douglas Hallman officiating. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.

Sara J. Baker, 90, of Blain RR 1 died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born April 1, 1910 at Andersonburg to the late Samuel and Stella Mae (Kistler) Shields.
She was a teacher's aide at Green Park Elementary School in West Perry School District; an inspector of elections for Jackson Twp. for many years; an honorary life member, council member and on the board of directors of the Blain Senior Citizen's Center; and a member of Blain United Methodist Church and the ladies auxiliary of the Blain Fire Company and Blain Ambulance Club.
She was the widow of Charles Lee Baker.
Surviving are four brothers, S. Frank Shields of Lebanon, Ralph S. Shields and R. Dale Shields, both of McClure, and Eugene N. Shields of Loysville; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was the last surviving daughter of 14 children.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard L., who died in 1984.
Services were held Sept. 27 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. Jay B. Eickhoff officiating. Burial was in Blain Cemetery.

Virginia L. Baker, 75, of Liverpool RR 1 died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000 in Brookline Manor Nursing Home, Mifflintown RR 1.
She was born Sept. 19, 1924 in Cocolamus to the late Henry A. and Evelyn (Bromley) Lyter.
She was a former employee of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 364, Liverpool.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Charles F. Baker Sr.; a daughter, Penelope Woollard of York; a son, Charles F. Jr. of Frederick, Md.; a brother, George A. Lyter of Liverpool; two sisters, Jane Bartecchi of Maryland and Eleanor Bunlap of California; and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Agnes, Mary and Dorothy, and one brother, Curtis.
Services were held Feb. 12 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Peter Kuebler officiating. Burial was in St. John (Barner's) Lutheran Cemetery, Liverpool RR 1.
Helen L. Barkley, 69, of Landisburg RR 2 died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born Sept. 6, 1930 at Shermans Dale RR 1 to the late Clarence S. and Hilda K. (Bower) Reisinger.
She had worked for the former Hunt's Corp. in Carlisle and the former McGowan's Grocery Store, Landisburg; was a prayer coordinator and former deaconess and Sunday school teacher at First Church of God, Landisburg; and a member of the Harrisburg Area Christian Women's Club, Perry County Historical Society and Landisburg Ambulance Club.
She was the widow of Roy M. Barkley.
Surviving are a son, Clarence N. Reisinger of Duncannon; four daughters, Linda K. Williams, Brenda J. Dupert, Auralia "Rel" M. Stum and Royetta G. Baughman, all of Landisburg; a sister, Gloria B. Stum of Carlisle; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 4 in her church with the Rev. H. James Williams officiating. Burial was in Landisburg Cemetery.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.

Edna R. Baer, 105, formerly of Landisburg, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
She was born Aug. 28, 1894 at Landisburg RR 1 to the late William and Isabella L. Garlin.
She was a homemaker and a former Sunday school teacher and member of Landisburg Church of God.
She was the widow of Luther A. Baer, who died Aug. 11, 1962.
Surviving are three daughters, Hazel R. Swarner of Carlisle, and twins, Doris E. Smith of Newport and Delois E. Sanders of Marysville; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Elwood T.M., Frederick and Teddy E. Baer, and one daughter, Geraldine Brownawell.
Services were held Jan. 13 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. William A. Groff Jr. officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Loysville.

Roscoe M. Barnes, 82, of Ickesburg RR 1 died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born Sept. 30, 1917 in Millerstown to the late Harry and Annie (Leonard) Barnes.
He was retired from PennDOT; an Army veteran of World War II; a member of Donnally Mills United Methodist Church, Millerstown RR 1, Ickesburg and Blain fire companies and ambulance leagues, Blain Lions Club, Blain Odd Fellows Lodge 706 and Blain and Ickesburg sportsmen clubs; and enjoyed hunting, woodworking, gardening and beekeeping.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Myrtle Weibley Barnes; two daughters, Joanne E. Fritz of Ickesburg and Ivetta M. Neidigh of Blain; a brother, David Barnes of Millerstown; three sisters, Elsie Kell and Freda Simonton, both of New Bloomfield, and Mary Taylor of Millerstown; five grandchildren, Debra J. Fritz Rheam, Darren J. Fritz, Rhonda M. Neidigh Haas, Renee J. Neidigh Sengle and Robert O. Neidigh; and six great-grandchildren, Laurie Rheam Messimer, Michael J. Rheam, Kurt M. Rheam, Dustin M. Haas, Danielle M. Haas and Roscoe M. Neidigh.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ronald M. Neidigh.
Services were held Jan. 19 in his church with the Rev. James Behrens officiating. Burial was in Blain Cemetery.
Myers Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.
