David W. Thompson, 58, of Liverpool died Tuesday, March 14, 2000 at home.
He was born March 16, 1941 in Millerstown to Esther (Arnold) Thompson of Liverpool and the late Lawrence Thompson.
He retired from the Postal Service; was a graduate of Greenwood High School; and a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Liverpool, Newport Moose lodge and Liverpool Fire Company.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 37 years, Doris M. Earnest Thompson; two sons, Wade A. of Millerstown and Larry W. of Liverpool RR 2; a brother, John R. of Liverpool; a sister, Linda J. Russell of Carlisle; and six grandchildren.
Services were held March 17 in his church with the Rev. James R. Bramer officiating. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.
Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, handled arrangements.
Kevin L. "Thompsy" Thompson, 36, of Liverpool RR 2, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000 as a result of a car accident in Lower Paxton Twp., Dauphin County.
He was born Aug. 3, 1963 in Fargo, N.D.
He was a truck driver for Sysco, Harrisburg; an Air Force veteran; a member of Millerstown Moose Lodge 925; and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of eight years, Michelle Hower Thompson; a daughter, Rachel M. at home; mother and stepfather, Judy and Joe Burchfield of Altoona; three brothers, John J. Burchfield of Altoona, Theodore D. Burchfield III of Graizerville and Michael A. Burchfield of Hollidaysburg; two sisters, Tracy L. Pelligrino and Audra M. Leonard, both of Altoona; maternal grandmother, Marie Davis of Oklahoma; and paternal grandmother, Audrey Burchfield of Altoona.
Services were held Feb. 5 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with David Shuman of the Mt. Olivet Church of the Brethren, Newport, officiating. Burial was in Hunters Valley Church Cemetery.

Crystal Lea Tidd, 37, a resident of Conewago Residential Services, Abbottstown, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000 in Hanover Hospital.
Surviving are her parents, John S. and Patsy K. Howell Tidd of Marysville; one brother, James M. Tidd of Carlisle; her maternal grandmother, Lillian May Howell of Duncannon; Edith Trone, her housemother at the center who took care of her; and all the other caretakers at the center.
Graveside services were held March 18 in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, handled arrangements.

Kathryn E. Troutman, 86, of ManorCare, Sunbury, formerly of Middleburg, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2000 at the Sunbury Community Hospital.
She was born April 23, 1913 in Susquehanna Twp., Juniata County, to the late John Calvin and Catherine V. (Erlmeyer) Spicher.
She was educated in Juniata County schools; a homemaker; a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Middleburg, where she was a member of the Sunday school class No. 5; and enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening.
She was the widow of John A. Troutman, who died Jan. 25, 1987.
Surviving are two daughters, Clementine I. of Beavertown and Arlene M. Lepley of Middleburg; one son, Clyde M. of Selinsgrove; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Earnest, and three brothers, Clarence, Lloyd and Lee.
Services were held Jan. 27 in Hummel Funeral Home, Middleburg. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
M.E. "Gene" Turnbaugh, 72, of Bloomfield Avenue, Newport, died Saturday, March 4, 2000 at home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1927 in Newport to the late John R. and Helen E. (Barrick) Turnbaugh.
He retired as owner/operator of Turnbaugh's Body Shop, had owned a private trucking business, was a former manager of Newport Ice Treat Co., and a former part-time employee of Oliver Twp.; a member of Mount Olivet Church of the Brethren, Newport, and Newport Social Order of Owls; and a social member of VFW Post 34, Newport.
Surviving are his wife, Minnie McNaughton Turnbaugh; a daughter, Barbara Jean Turnbaugh Leach; five brothers, Harold, Robert, Carl, Kenneth and Charles, and two sisters, Helen Reigle and Betty Clouser, all of Newport; a granddaughter, Babette Leach; two step-grandchildren, Kelly Seiler and Andy Leach; and two step-great-grandchildren, Madeline Seiler and Stiles Seiler.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Donald Turnbaugh, and one sister, LaRue Moyer.
Services were held March 7 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. John Shenk and pastor Lou Mancari officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Edith M. Wolfe, 84, of Morgan Street, Duncannon, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was born March 7, 1916 in Penn Twp. to the late William and Sara (Dowdrick) Cummings.
She retired from the former Duncannon Dress Factory; was a member and past president of VFW Post 255 Ladies Auxiliary, Duncannon; and enjoyed crafts.
She was the widow of Joseph I.E. Wolfe.
Surviving are two grandsons, Joseph I. of Germany and Robin L. of Duncannon RR 4; a granddaughter, Pebbles L. Vance of Florida; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph E.
Graveside services were held Dec. 14 in Union Cemetery, Duncannon, with the Rev. Dale Rosenberger officiating.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

Charlotte F. Womer, 71, of S. St. John's Road, Camp Hill, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2000 at home.
She retired from Kmart, the former National Hotel, Mechanicsburg, and the former Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Marysville.
Surviving are her husband, John W. Womer; a son, George Hunsicker of Camp Hill; four daughters, Jessica Luke of Marysville, Yvonne Hunsicker of Mechanicsburg, Danya Donelen of Camp Hill and Melissa Secrist of Dauphin; a stepson, Robert of Pittsburgh; a stepdaughter, Susan of Mechanicsburg; three sisters, Helen Ordway of Arizona, Loretta Shanabrook of Shippensburg and Wilma Howard of Martinsburg, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 10 in Myers-Harner Funeral Home, Camp Hill.

Edna J. Zendt, 84, of Loysville RR 1 died Friday, March 31, 2000 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born Jan. 3, 1916 in Milford Twp. near Port Royal to the late Lewis E. and Tessie (Bryner) Casner.
She had assisted her late husband in farming; was a member of the Blain Ambulance Club; and enjoyed country music, animals and gardening.
She was the widow of Shelly A. Zendt.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald S. of Loysville and Larry E. of Dauphin; a daughter, Audrey J. Kerr of Millerstown RR 1; two sisters, Beulah Swartz and Bessie M. Schell, both of Carlisle; a brother, H. Lee Casner of Loysville RR 1; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 4 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. Philip S. Beachey officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Loysville.
