William H. Weibley, 68, of Rambo Hill Road, Shermans Dale, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, at home.
He was born May 28, 1932 in Blain to the late Samuel Sr. and Rebecca (Blankmyer) Weibley.
He was a truck driver; an Air Force veteran; and a member of Teamsters Union Local 776, Harrisburg, New Bloomfield VFW Post 7463 and the Newport Social Order of Owls.
Surviving are a companion, Ethel Hartzell; three brothers, Charles of Marysville, Samuel of Duncannon and Henry of Shermans Dale; and a sister, Kathryn Holley of Newport.
Services were held Feb. 21 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. James Gold officiating. Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Loysville.
Edward J. Wileman, 77, of E. High Street, Elizabethtown, formerly of Newport, died Friday, July 24, 1998 in ManorCare Health Services, Lancaster.
He was born in Williamsburg, Blair County, to the late Charles E. and Mary E. (Page) Wileman.
He retired in 1983 as a Perry County ground hand from Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. and was a life member of the Millerstown Moose lodge.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Helen Irene Bollinger Wileman; a son, Charles E. of Elizabethtown; and a granddaughter.
Graveside services were held in McCulloch's Mills Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Miller Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Eugene P. Walcott, 68, of Newport, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was a retired carpenter who enjoyed traveling and studying local architecture and history.
Surviving are three daughters, Sheila W. Chambers of Salt Lake City; Elaine Khosrova of Ghent, N.Y., and Jacqueline Plant of New York City; a son, Christopher J., of Newark, Del.; four sisters, June Verardo of Culpeper, Va., Connie Becchio of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Gloria and Carol Walcott, both of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Services were private. Burial was Nov. 19 in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Reese Funeral Home, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

Glenn O. Woleslagle, 73, of New Bloomfield RR 1, formerly of Duncannon, died Friday, July 24, 1998 at home.
He was born Feb. 10, 1925 in Snow Shoe, Pa., to the late Howard and Mary (Lauck) Woleslagle.
He was a retired carpenter; an Army veteran of World War II; and attended the Fundamental Bible Church, Newport.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret "Fay" Potter Woleslagle; a son, Bryan of New Bloomfield; four daughters, Rhonda Curtis of New Bloomfield, Louise Keller of Newport, and Kitty Harris and Gail Kemrer, both of Landisburg; three brothers, Newton of Liverpool, Howard Jr. of Thompsontown and John of Ackerman, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 27 in his church, with the Rev. David J. Bard officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.

Hannah C. Wagner, 83, of Blain and formerly of Shermans Dale RR 2, died Sunday, March 1, at the home of her son in Blain.
She was born Nov. 13, 1914 at Lykens to the late James F. and Erma A. (Weiss) Mace.
She was the widow of Ray C. Wagner, who died Aug. 20, 1990.
She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Blain, Blain Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Blain Ambulance Club.
Surviving are a son, Wayne W. Wagner of Blain; a daughter, Violet M. Binger of Loysville RR 2; two brothers, James B. Mace of Spring Glen and Herbert H. Mace of Tower City; three sisters, Elsie E. Straub of Elizabethville, Dorothy O. Neubaum of Millersburg and Betty A. Shade of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 4 in her church with the Rev. Frank J. Gassler officiating. Burial was in Blain Cemetery.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.

H. Ray Wertz, 77, of N. Fifth Street, Newport, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998 at home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1921 in Harrisburg to the late H. Ray Sr. and Jessie (Kough) Wertz.
He had worked for the former E. Mather Co. and retired from Standard Wheel and Rim, both of Harrisburg; was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II; a former Newport borough councilman and council president; a member and past president of the Newport Lions Club, which last year honored him for service; a former board member of Newport Public Library; chairman of Newport Recycling; the 1993 Pomona Grange Man of the Year; a volunteer for RSVP, Newport Elementary School and Meals on Wheels; a former Eagle Scout; and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, F&AM Lodge 381, American Legion Post 177, Zembo Shrine Temple, Harrisburg, and Harrisburg Consistory.
Surviving are his wife, Jane W. Wertz; two daughters, Roberta "Bobbi" Wertz-Hoy and Mary Jane Wertz, both of Enola; and a brother, Richard H. of Reading.
Services, with Masonic rites, were held April 25 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Arthur Steckel officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Mary E. Wiles, 71, of Wheatfield Twp., New Bloomfield RR 1 died Friday, June 19, 1998 at home.
She was born May 29, 1927 in Jennertown to the late Rev. James S. and Susan (Rearick) Shannon.
She was the widow of Frank E. Wiles.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services were held June 24 in Boyer Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Ray Bohn officiating. Burial was in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.
Benjamin F. Watts, 87, of Watts Drive, Duncannon, died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born Nov. 26, 1910 in Penn Twp. to the late Frank and Sarah (Leiter) Watts.
He was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Sara Winter Watts; two sons, Warren W. and Larry A., a sister, Floy L. Harling, all of Duncannon; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 6 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. David Wynn officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.

Gilbert E. "Bub" Wolaver, 56, of Centre Twp., New Bloomfield RR 2, died Friday, May 29, 1998 in Morristown, N.J.
He was born July 19, 1941 in Enola to the late Joseph A. and Sara Mae (Derick) Wolaver.
He was an employee of ABF Trucking; and a member of Teamsters Union Local 776, Harrisburg, and Marysville Moose Lodge 107.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Hepler Wolaver; two sons, Chad of Etters and Kurt of Texas; two daughters, Brenda Drawbaugh of Etters and Heidi Reiker of Phoenix, Ariz.; five brothers, Lindy of Enola, George of Duncannon, Clinton of Mount Holly Springs, Ronald of Marysville and Joseph of Abilene, Texas; six sisters, Sue Pierce of Manchester, Judy Shelley of Enola, Wanda Wolaver and Romaine Shellenberger, both of Mechanicsburg, Garnetta Kimble of Bellefonte and Linda Baker of Hawthorne, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Services were held June 3 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Alan K. Foor officiating. Burial was in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Newberry Twp., York County.
Ruth N. Wagner, 85, of N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, died Sunday, July 5, 1998.
She was born Feb. 3, 1913 in Loysville to the late Casper C. and Ruth (Snyder) Nickel.
She was a graduate of the former Duncannon High School, Wilson College, and earned a master's degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Carlisle Civic Club, Carlisle Hospital Auxiliary, and Methodist Church Women's Society. She served on the Girl Scout Council, Friends of Bosler Library, The League of Women Voters, and had served as a Wilson College Alumnae officer.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Richard H. Wagner; a son, R. Jerome of Santa Rosa, Calif.; a daughter, Harriet Campbell of Moffat, Colo.; a half-brother, James A. Nickel of Duncannon; and two grandsons.
