Margaret Catherine Koerner Kugler, 82, of W. Main Street, New Bloomfield, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998 at home.
She was a former legal secretary in her husband's law practice.
She was a member of New Bloomfield United Methodist Church and formerly its administrative board, church treasurer and Sunday school teacher; former Boy and Girl Scout leader; member of Perry Chapter 459, Order of Eastern Star; and Central Perry Community Senior Citizens.
She was the widow of Judge Charles W. Kugler.
Surviving are a son, Edwin L. of Morgantown, W.Va.; a daughter, Joanne K. Hammond of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 3 at her church. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, Newport, handled arrangements.
Donald E. Kraft, 88, of Fourth Street, Newport, died Monday, March 23, 1998 at home.
He was born March 14, 1910 in Newport to the late Charles E. and Mary (Mitchell) Kraft.
He was a retired butcher and Newport borough employee; retired as a truck driver from Sunnydale Farms, Elliottsburg; and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Social Order of Owls, both of Newport, and Newport Fire Company and Newport Ambulance League.
He was the widower of Ruth Bitting Kraft.
Surviving are a companion, Edna Hampton; a son, James E., a daughter, Mary M. Maxwell, and a brother, Herman M., all of Newport; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 27 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Arthur Steckel officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Margaret M. Krick, 77, of Creek Road, Duncannon, died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998.
She was born Jan. 29, 1921 in Wheatfield Twp. to the late Alois B. and Emma (Zeigler) Spease.
She had worked for the former Duncannon Dress Co.; and was a member of Roseglen Brethren in Christ Church and the Duncannon High School Alumni Association.
Surviving are her husband, Vernon R. Krick; five daughters, Lois M. Boyce of Clarks Summit, Karen L. McNaughton and Lavonne F. Potteiger, both of Duncannon, Nancy J. Ross of Millerstown RR 1 and Janice R. Sauers of Mifflinburg; a son, Paul D. of Duncannon; a brother, John Z. Spease of Duncannon; three sisters, Catherine Stansfield of Camp Hill, and Pearl Lepperd and Miriam Krick, both of Duncannon; 31 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Vernon R. Krick Jr.
Services were held Oct. 6 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with Simon Lehman Jr. officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.

Richard L. Kichman, 53, of Valley Road, Marysville, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998 at home.
He was a carpenter for Local 287 of Harrisburg.
Surviving are his wife, Marie A. Tolbert Kichman; three sons, Richard L. of Graham, N.C., Christopher R. of Newville and Richard L. III, at home; a daughter, Darlene C. Hornbaker of Duncannon; two stepdaughters, Linda L. Wade of Harrisburg and Ann M. Hurrell of Dauphin; two brothers, Fred of Florida and John of Enola; two sisters, Laura Mae Garber of Harrisburg and June Lowe of Middletown; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 19 in Richardson Funeral Home, Enola. Burial was in East Harrisburg Cemetery.
Stanley C. Kitner, 71, of Piketown Road, Harrisburg, died Monday, April 13, 1998 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born Feb. 13, 1927 in New Bloomfield to the late Christian and Edna Mae (Shearer) Kitner.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Kitner; a daughter, Mim Strauss; a sister, Ada Baker of Carlisle; two brothers, Norman of Shermans Dale and David of Millerstown RR 1; and a granddaughter, Becky Strauss.
Services were held April 16 in his church, Mt. Laurel Church of God, Piketown Road, Harrisburg. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Dakota Lynn Kiner, infant daughter of Steven R. and Crystal L. Knaub Kiner of Shermans Dale, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
In addition to her parents, surviving are her paternal grandparents, Steven R. and Barbara H. Flachsmann Kiner of Shermans Dale; maternal grandparents, Jesse W. and Melodie L. Alleman Knaub of Shermans Dale; paternal great-grandparents, Harold R. Kiner of Shermans Dale and Helen M. Grove Kiner of Mt. Holly Springs; maternal great-grandparents, Jack L. Alleman of Huntingdon, Helen L. Diehl of Elliottsburg and Walter Hohlstein of Glendale, Ariz.; and maternal stepgreat-grandparents, Robert Diehl of Elliottsburg and Mary Alleman of Huntingdon.
Burial was in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, with the Rev. Peter Beddia officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, handled arrangements.
Earl D. "Sonny" Kerstetter, 58, of Middleburg RR 1 died Friday, March 20, 1998 at the home of his brother.
He was born Feb. 11, 1940 in Liverpool to the late Earl T.R. and Mary Ellen (Williamson) Kerstetter.
He had worked in the mail room at the State Capitol and had also been employed by Weis Markets, Elby's and Tedd's Landing; attended Calvary Baptist Church, Mifflinburg; and while living in Millerstown, was active in the Senior Citizen Center.
Surviving are three brothers, Lewis D. of Middleburg, Dennis R. of Millerstown and Gary A. of Middleburg RR 1, with whom he lived; and two sisters, Elsie M. Wetzel of Newport and Phyllis A. Singley of Middleburg.
Services were held March 31 in Hummel Funeral Home, Middleburg, with the Rev. Troy D. Kerstetter officiating. Burial was in Barner's Church Cemetery, Liverpool RR 2.
Floy May King, 84, of Douglas, Ariz., died Monday, April 13, 1998.
She was born Aug. 18, 1913 in Newport to the late Rev. Wesley and Annie (Frank) Wright.
She was a graduate of Juniata College, Huntingdon, and New York University, where she earned a master's degree in music. She taught for one year in Pennsylvania before spending 32 years in Ohio teaching music. She was both elementary and high school supervisor and traveled to 10 country schools teaching music.
In 1968 she moved to Arizona where she taught school for another 15 years, retiring in 1983 at age 70. She continued with private piano students and taught until just six weeks prior to her death.
In Arizona she was instrumental in establishing the Douglas Library and was active in the English Speaking Union and the Society of Arts and Letters. She also founded the Local Poetry Society and salvaged the Grand Theater in Douglas.
She also owned King's Grocery and the Standard Oil Station at Ray's Corners, Ohio, from 1936 to 1968. The property was donated to the Lenox Historical Society and now is the Lenox Rural Museum.
She was the widow of Howard E. King, who died May 7, 1973.
Surviving are a sister, Ruth Stokes of Jefferson, Ohio, and a niece, Nancy Kessner of Boston, Mass.
Burial was in the family plot at Ray's Corner.
Ina L. Kautz, 79, of Ann Street, Duncannon, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998 at a daughter's home.
She was born June 12, 1918 in Duncannon to the late Verner F. Sr. and Myrtle M. (Booth) Mutzabaugh.
She was retired from PennDOT and was a member of Logania Church of God and Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees.
She was the widow of George H. Kautz and Jay B. Willard.
Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Gamble, with whom she lived, Brenda Mullen of Duncannon and Genevieve Stine of Dillsburg; a stepdaughter, Joan Calaman of Carlisle; a brother, John Mutzabaugh of Duncannon; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 18 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Bernard Fortna officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.

Ida M. Kauffman, 89, of Kinkora Home, Duncannon, formerly of Mifflintown, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She previously worked in a dress factory and was a member of Centre Lutheran Church, Mifflintown.
She was the widow of John W. Kauffman.
Surviving are a daughter, Ethel M. Kauffman of Mifflintown; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 25 at Guss Funeral Home, Mifflintown. Burial was in Adams Cemetery, Mifflintown.
