Wilda A. Fleisher, 70, of Newport RR 5 died Tuesday, May 11, 1999 at home.
She had worked at Bitting's Restaurant and Store; was a member of the Newport Fire Company Auxiliary; and enjoyed traveling and taking cruises.
She was the widow of Glen D. Fleisher.
Surviving are two sons, William J. of Newport RR 4 and G. Daniel of Newport RR 2; two daughters, Robin A. Shetrom of Newport RR 5 and Christine K. Fleisher of Harrisburg; three brothers, William Mumper of Mechanicsburg and Benjamin and Ronald Mumper, both of New Germantown; two sisters, Rae Carlin of New Germantown and Wanda Reisinger of Millerstown; seven grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services were held May 15 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

William M. Fahnestock, 75, of Eisenhower Blvd., Duncannon, died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born Nov. 12, 1923 in Chambersburg to the late Charles and Vella (Foreman) Fahnestock.
He retired from United Engineers & Constructors, Philadelphia; was a Navy veteran of World War II; a member and past commander of VFW Post 255 and American Legion Post 340, Duncannon; and a member of F&AM Lodge 458 in Marysville, the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Nashua (N.H.) Consistory.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Johns Fahnestock; two sons, W. Michael of Duncannon and Paul J. of Dillsburg; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 22 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Robert Wittlinger officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.

Josephine L. Flickinger, 86, of Main Street, York Springs, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999 in Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village.
She was born June 12, 1913 in Lancaster to the late Hiram and Mary Emma (Stauffer) Lindsay.
She assisted her late husband in a family medical practice; was a graduate of the former Stevens High School, Lancaster, and Goucher College, where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority; attended Johns Hopkins University; and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Association of University Women.
She was the widow of Dr. William Flickinger.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Frederick W. of Ripon, Wis.; a daughter, Joann Lindsay Flickinger of Santa Monica, Calif.; and two sisters, Bettie L. Myers and Mary K. Lindsay, both of Newport.
Services were held Dec. 26 in her church with the Rev. Timothy Sandler officiating. Burial was in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.

Teddy E. Fosselman, 69, of Newport RR 2 died Sunday, March 21, 1999 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born May 29, 1929 in Donnally Mills to the late Vincent and Ellen (Barnes) Fosselman.
He retired from the Capitol Security Force; was a Navy veteran; a member of Market Street United Methodist Church, Newport; a beekeeper; and enjoyed woodworking.
He was the widower of Joanne V. Fosselman.
Surviving are a companion, Ann Marie Wesloskie of Colonial Park; two daughters, Ellen S. Nestos of Coral Springs, Fla., and Lynn P. Haunstein of Marysville; two brothers, Warren C. of Donnally Mills and Harold R. of Palmer, Alaska; a sister, Pauline Bennett of New Bloomfield; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services were held March 28 in his church with the Rev. Aden Wertz officiating.

Arlin Ellsworth "Ollie" Goodling, 70, of Port Trevorton RR 1 died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999 at home.
He was born April 26, 1928 at Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2 to the late Robert A. and Dillie Mae (Fogle) Goodling.
He operated A.E. Goodling Trucking; was a former employee of Halls Motor Transport of Sunbury; attended Quaker Run Grammar School in Juniata County; a Protestant; a life member of Middleburg VFW Post 5640; a member of Liverpool American Legion Post 364 and the Port Trevorton Fire Company; an Army veteran of the Korean War; and enjoyed working on and driving trucks.
He was the widower of Helen Sprenkle Goodling, who died in 1962.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, June E. Schaeffer Goodling; two daughters, Nancy E. Lilley of Lancaster and Lisa J. Davies of Shamokin Dam; two sons, Jack E. Goodling of Annville and Daniel W. Sprenkle of Port Trevorton; four brothers, Herman J. of Selinsgrove RR 1, Monroe of Liverpool RR 1, Palmer of Newport RR 2 and Kenneth of Mount Pleasant Mills RR 2; two sisters, Beulah Sheaffer of Enola and Gladys Hoffman of McAlisterville; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepson, Clinton L. Hupp, in 1984, and a grandson, Clinton J. Davies, in 1988.
Services were held Jan. 29 in Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills, with the Rev. Maureen Wagner officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Witmer's Memorial Cemetery, Port Trevorton, RR 1.

Betty R. Good, 71, of Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon, formerly of S. Front Street, Liverpool, died Sunday, May 9, 1999 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born July 27, 1927 in Duncannon to the late Roy S. and Ida B. (Newlin) Smith.
She was a homemaker, and had worked at Nipple Convalescent Home and Liverpool Garment Factory; a member of Liverpool United Methodist Church and Methodist Women; and liked yard sales, gardening, cooking, baking and once sold greeting cards door-to-door.
She was the widow of William Daniel Good, who died Nov. 6, 1982.
Surviving are a son, David D. of Millerstown; four daughters, Marie E. Lytle of Sunbury, Betty N. Forsythe of Duncannon, Nancy L. Goodling of Mount Pleasant Mills and Debra A. McNaughton of Millerstown; a brother, William Smith of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Jean Blymire of Harrisburg and Beatrice Miller of Camp Hill; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Paul and John Smith, and five sisters, Helen Baker, Alda Miller, Larue Smith, Lillian Travitz and Doris Lindsey.
Services were held May 13 in her church with the Rev. Charles T. Tressler officiating. Burial was in Liverpool Union Cemetery.

Carl "Pete" Garman, 72, of McClures Gap Road, North Middleton Twp., Carlisle, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born May 5, 1927 in Cumberland County to the late William S. and Katie (Stone) Garman.
He farmed in North Middleton Twp. for most of his life and formerly was employed for 50 years at the Carlisle Livestock Market.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Ruth E. Longacre Garman; four sons, Barry L., Dennis E., Terry A. and Thomas L., all of Carlisle; two daughters, Sherry J. Snyder and Pamela K. Weston, both of Carlisle; one brother and one sister, Earl P. Garman and Evelyn Shughart, both of Carlisle; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 2 in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, with the Rev. Fred Miller officiating. Burial was in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Twp.

Creta Wright Gordon, 83, of Bellevue, Wash., died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 at home.
She was retired from the Federal government as a secretary to a physician and enjoyed flowers, cooking and travel.
Surviving are a sister, Marcella Dudley of Newport.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Delmont Wright.
Services were held Nov. 19 in Sunset Chapel, Green Funeral Home, Bellevue. Burial was in Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue.
