RONALD D. GUTSHALL
Ronald D. Gutshall, 66, of Harrisburg died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He retired from the Navy; was a veteran of the Korean War; had been a maintenance worker at the former Riverfront Inn and a driver for Penn Harris Taxi; and a past commander of Duncannon American Legion Post 340.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Mason Gutshall; a daughter, Sasha R., at home; four sons, Zachary D., at home, and Michael, William and Ronald D. Jr., all of Oklahoma; a stepdaughter, Shannon L. Mason of Harrisburg; his mother, Dorothy Sowers Platt of Duncannon; three sisters, Karen Patton of Harrisburg, Carol McMillian of Mechanicsburg and Phyllis Taylor of Delta; a brother, Marion of Hanover; eight grandchildren; and a stepgranddaughter.
Services were held Dec. 3 in Neumyer Funeral Home, Harrisburg. Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

RALPH E. GAMBLE
Ralph E. Gamble, 79, of Duncannon RR 4 died Thursday, March 4, 1999 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born May 14, 1919 in Harrisburg to the late Norman and Mary (Erb) Gamble.
He was a retired conductor for the Pennsylvania Railroad; an Army veteran of World War II, receiving the Bronze Star; a member of Hill United Methodist Church, Duncannon RR 4, Duncannon Veteran of Foreign Wars Post and Liverpool American Legion.
He was the widower of Grace Deiter Gamble.
Surviving are three sons, Richard R. of New Bloomfield RR 1, Thomas E. of Newport RR 1 and Walter L. of Duncannon RR 4; one brother, Norman of Harrisburg; and two grandsons.
Services were held March 9 in his church with the Rev. Aden Wertz officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Hill Cemetery.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

ROBERT R. GUTSHALL
Robert R. Gutshall, 72, of Valley Ranch Road, Carroll Twp., formerly of Carlisle, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999 at home.
He was born Jan. 1, 1927 in Carlisle to the late William Grant and Maude Ella (Sollenberger) Gutshall.
He had worked for Piezo Crystal Co. in Carlisle and P.P.G. Industries in South Middleton Twp.; a Navy veteran of World War II with two Bronze Stars; was active in Boy Scouts; attended Carlisle High School and Temple University in Philadelphia; a drummer in the Larks Band in Carlisle; a life member of VFW Post 7234 of Ocean View, Del., Mount Holly Springs American Legion Post 674 and Carlisle Elks Lodge 578 where he was a member of the Old Timers; a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Carlisle, Eagles Aerie 1299, Carlisle, and Empire Hook and Ladder Fire Company, Carlisle, for 56 years; and a member of the former American Legion Post 101 Drum and Buglar Corps, Carlisle.
He was the widower of Carolyn Crooks Gutshall, who died March 17, 1976.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Dottie M. Wileman Gutshall; a daughter, M. June Cook of Carlisle; two stepsons, Robert E. Cramer of Shermans Dale and Roger W. Cramer of Newport; two stepdaughters, Roberta J. Cooper of Shermans Dale and Christine M. Hershey of West Fairview; his stepmother, Alberta Gutshall of Carlisle; two sisters, Marian L. Beebe of Carlisle and Julia G. Evans of Pottstown; two stepbrothers, Marlin Webster of Carlisle and David Webster of Eugene, Ore.; a stepsister, Othila "Sis" Grove of Carlisle; two grandsons; five stepgrandsons; and a stepgreat-grandson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, one of whom was Richard Gutshall, and one stepdaughter, Donna K. Cramer.
Services were held Sept. 7 in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, with the Rev. Richard A. Ruff officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.

SETH A. GOODLING
Seth Adam Goodling, 25, of Sunbury Path, Millerstown, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999 in Snyder County as the result of a traffic accident.
He was born Aug. 12, 1974 in Harrisburg.
He was an employee of United Parcel Service in Northumberland and attended Newport Assembly of God.
Surviving are his parents, Jessie and Kenneth E. Goodling Jr. of Millerstown; three brothers, Kenneth E. III of Mifflintown, Kent E. of Michigan and Anthony J. of New York state; a half-sister, Keah E. Tingle of Harrisburg; his maternal grandmother, Reba Reisinger of Duncannon; and his paternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Kenneth E. and Ethel Goodling of Elizabethtown.
Services were held Nov. 27 in his church with the Rev. Gary R. Bellis officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

STANLEY F. GLASS
Stanley Fillmore Glass, 85, of the Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999 at the home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1914 in Duncannon to the late Edward and E. Mae (Shellenberger) Glass.
He had owned the former Glass's Bakery; was an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of Duncannon Presbyterian Church, Perry F&AM Lodge 458, Harrisburg Consistory, Duncannon High School Alumni Association and American Legion Post 340; and enjoyed reading.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Beadle Glass; a brother, Charles E. of Harrisburg; a grandson, Charles F. Rohrer of Mt. Pleasant Mills; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joann Rohrer, and a grandson, Gregory Rohrer.
Services were held Nov. 17 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Donald Harbaugh officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.

SANDRA MAY GOODHART
Sandra May Goodhart, 56, of Monroe Street, Mechanicsburg, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born April 20, 1943 in Ickesburg to the late George Sr. and Helen (Zondory) Reisinger.
She was an employee of the Federal Aviation Administration in West Trenton, N.J.; a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ickesburg; attended Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Carlisle; and was a member of the Perry County Eastern Star chapter.
Surviving are a companion, Dianne E. Barrick; a daughter, Angela M. Voros of Carlisle; three brothers, Wayne and George Reisinger Jr., both of Ickesburg, and Dale Reisinger of Blain; a sister, Laureen Fuller of Ickesburg; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Selma Hench.
Services were held Oct. 25 in Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, Mount Holly Springs, with the Rev. John H. Kratz officiating. Burial was in Mount Holly Springs Cemetery.

WILLIAM H. GAMBER
William Haas Gamber, 77, of Gambers Corner Road, Duncannon, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
He was born June 19, 1922 in Penn Twp. to the late Charles W. and Nellie (Haas) Gamber.
He had been a dairy farmer; secretary for the Penn Twp. supervisors for 38 years; attended Harrisburg Area Community College; and was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Duncannon High School Alumni Association, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee, Perry F&AM Lodge 458, Harrisburg Consistory and The Perry Historians.
Surviving are a brother, Charles F.; two nieces, Susan C. Hostetter and Patty G. Black; a great-niece; and three great-nephews.
Services were held Oct. 9 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Alan Foor officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 212 N. High St., Duncannon 17020.

JAMES J. GALLAGHER
James J. "Spook" Gallagher, 58, of Shermans Dale, formerly of Philadelphia, died Saturday, May 8, 1999 at home.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Okarski Gallagher; his mother, Alice C. Gallagher; three brothers, Anthony J., Charles T. and Thomas E.; and a sister, Jean Kennedy.
Services were held May 12 in Campbell Funeral Home, Philadelphia. Burial was in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Penndel.

IRENE L. KENNEDY
Irene L. Kennedy, 92, of Elliottsburg RR 1 died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999 at home.
She was born June 10, 1907 in Loysville to the late George and Margaret (Bernhisel) Ritter.
She was a retired elementary schoolteacher from the West Perry School District, having taught at Loysville, Landisburg and Green Park; a graduate of Shippensburg University; a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Elliottsburg, and the Retired Teachers Association; and a former member of the Lady Landis 303 Rebekah Lodge.
She was the widow of Karl E. Kennedy.
Surviving are two sons, William K. of Landisburg RR 1 and Edward R. of Elliottsburg RR 1; two daughters, Trudy I. Stum of Waynesboro and Sue Vandenelzen of Allentown; a sister, Gladys Shumberger of Mechanicsburg; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Thompson.
Services were held Nov. 17 in her church with the Rev. Miriam Nicholson officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.
