Greg A. Gilman, 16, of Path Street, Mifflin, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998 at Hershey Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 30, 1981 in Harrisburg.
He was a junior at Juniata High School, Mifflintown, and had attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin.
Surviving are his father, Larry E. Michaels of Chambersburg; his mother, Teresa M. "Terri" (Gilman) Dick of Mifflin; one sister, Tracy L. Eby of Mifflin; two brothers, Jacob E. Gilman and Steven A. Dick, both at home; his maternal grandparents, Marjorie Gilman of Blain and Richard Gilman of Newport; and his paternal grandparents, Kitty Michaels of Newport and William "Butch" Michaels of Newport.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua W. Dick. Services were held Oct. 24 in Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. George S. Reynolds officiating. Burial was in Lost Creek Mennonite Cemetery, Oakland Mills.
Brown Funeral Home, Mifflintown, handled arrangements.
Jack W. Gabert, 59, of New Bloomfield RR 2 died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born Jan. 16, 1939 in Fulton County to the late Walter and Margaret (Pine) Gabert.
He was an employee of Lear Inc., Carlisle; attended New Bloomfield Bible Baptist Church; and was a member of the Perry County Archers and New Bloomfield Sportsmen's Club.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Gipe Gabert; three sons, John W. of Millerstown, Donald E. of New Bloomfield and Clayton W. of Camp Hill; three daughters, Cindy L. Gabert of Shermans Dale, Tina M. McCole of Waluwatsoa, Wis., and Susan M. Jackson of Dillsburg; two brothers, George of Columbia and Paul of Chambersburg; three sisters, Nancy Lybrand of Gardners, Darlene Eutzy of Shippensburg and Linda Harris of Dry Run; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 19 in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. James God officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, RR 1, New Bloomfield 17068.
James C. Flickinger Jr., 76, of S. School Street, Millerstown, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born Sept. 24, 1921 at Newport to the late James C. Sr. and Stella (Auker) Flickinger.
He was retired from PP&L as a lineman for 37 years; a graduate of Millerstown High School; an Air Force veteran of World War II; post quartermaster of Perry County Council of Foreign Wars; member and former treasurer of VFW Post 5049, Millerstown; member and past secretary and treasurer of Tennis Lodge 371, F&AM, Thompsontown; past secretary and treasurer of Millerstown Fire Company and Ambulance; a trustee of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 925; and a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 364, Liverpool, Newport Social Order of Owls, Zembo Temple, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Tall Cedars of Lebanon - Juniata Valley Forest 88, Royal Arch Chapter 288, Newport, PP&L Line Wire Club, Kilowatt Craftsmans Club, and a 30-year member of the Pennsylvania State Bowling Association.
Surviving are his wife, Jane E. Nipple Flickinger; a son, Terry of Millerstown; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Flickinger, and a sister, Mildred Rhoades.
Services were held Aug. 27 in Nickel Funeral Home, Millerstown, with the Rev. Arthur L. Montgomery officiating. Burial was Millerstown Riverview Cemetery.

Raymond E. Gordon, 69, of Fox Hollow Road, Shermans Dale, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1998 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born March 15, 1929 in Carlisle to the late Kessell R. and Laura M. (Dick) Gordon.
He had been a meat department manager at the former Beltzhoover Food Market, Carlisle, and was the former owner/operator of Gordon & Sons Electric, Shermans Dale; formerly attended Young's United Methodist Church; and was a member of the Shermans Dale fire and ambulance companies and an avid hunter.
Surviving are four sons, Raymond J., Earnest R. and Dale K., all of Shermans Dale, and David A. of Newport; six daughters, Alice F. Yates of Scottsdale, Ariz., Donna M. Arnold and Hazel A. Blosser, both of Rohnert Park, Calif., Brenda K. Miller of Harrisburg, Glenda G. Gordon of Eugene, Ore., and Ada L. Burdette of Landisburg; three brothers, Lee R. of Carlisle and Frederick A. and Roy R.. both of Newville; seven sisters, Mildred C. Gibson, Mabel I. Gordon, Ruth Duncan, Violet M. Fraker and Pauline L. Shenk, all of Carlisle, Lois L. Stum of Newville and Emma S. Gordon of Lykens; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jake and Ray Gordon, and one sister, Anna Gordon.
Services were held Oct. 19 in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, with pastor James God officiating. Burial was in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.

Sarah Ellen Goodling, 81, of Liverpool RR 1 died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998 at the home of her daughter, Sadie M. Bitner of Bear, Del., where she had lived for the past three years.
She was born April 19, 1917 in Center Twp., Snyder County, to the late Aaron Isaac and Carrie May (Hummel) Kline.
She was a homemaker; attended Dressler's Ridge United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2; and enjoyed cooking.
She was the widow of Arthur Francis "Stump" Goodling Sr., who died Aug. 19, 1992.
In addition to her daughter, surviving are three sons, Elwood I., Henry O. and Arthur F. Jr., all of Liverpool RR 1; four daughters, Helen I. Shiltz of Richfield RR 1, Lottie E. Chubb of Hummels Wharf and Dorothy M. Wimmer and Lillian P. Willow, both of Liverpool RR 1; a son-in-law, Glenn Kerstetter of Millerstown RR 2; three sisters, Edna Goodling of Selinsgrove, Lottie Miller of Kreamer and Florence Strawser of Sunbury; 32 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Hazel A. Kerstetter, who died March 5, 1996; seven brothers, John, Henry, Ralph, Earl, Lester, Mark and William Kline; four sisters, Rhoda Strawser, Esther Kline, Ruth Landis and Minnie Shiltz; a son-in-law, Leon Shiltz; and a great-grandson, Trenton Wimmer, who died in 1992.
Services were held Dec. 19 in Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills, with the Rev. Enos N. Shelley officiating. Burial was in Dressler's Ridge United Methodist Cemetery.

Archie A. Gutshall, 93, of Marysville died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was the retired owner/operator of Gutshall's Hardware, Marysville.
He was the widower of Sara E. Dick Gutshall. Surviving are four sons, Archie W. and Garry G., both of Marysville, Charles M. of York and Donald E. of Millerstown; two daughters, Arlene G. Deckard and Nancy J. Billow, both of Marysville; a sister, Ruth Perry of Mechanicsburg; and two grandsons.
Services were held Feb. 12 in Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola. Burial was in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
Anna Mae Wagner Gottschall, 81, of Alva, Fla., died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998 at home.
She was a native of Marysville and graduated from the former Marysville High School and Thompson Institute.
She was retired as a payroll accountant from the Harrisburg School District; a life member of the Capitol City Polka Dancers Association; and a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penbrook.
Surviving are her husband, Merrill L. Gottschall; two daughters, Marla Hansen of Mechanicsburg and Cheryl Krchnar of Harrisburg; a brother, C. Pierce Wagner of Falls Church, Va.; three sisters, Audrey Hite of Marysville, Maxine Cartwright of Clearwater and Mildred Farrell of Harrisburg; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Oct. 1 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
International Cremation Society, Cape Coral, Fla., handled arrangements.

Clifford E. Geesaman, 40, of Ickesburg RR 1 died Wednesday, July 29, 1998 in Hershey Medical Center as the result of a construction accident.
He was born April 15, 1958 in Hershey.
He was a self-employed contractor; a member and elder of Newport Assembly of God; and the area representative for New Missions to Haiti.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Reisinger Geesaman; a son, Rian, at home; his father and stepmother, Marlin and Nancy Geesaman of Hummelstown; two brothers, Wayne M. of Elizabethtown and Clinton L. of Hamilton, Ohio; and four sisters, Colleen E. of Palmyra, Leta J. Deatrick of Summerdale, Wanda B. White of Newport and Crystal J. Wilson of New Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his mother, June P. Weaver Geesaman.
Services were held Aug. 2 in his church with the Rev. Gary R. Bellis officiating. Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

Donald L. Golden, 65, of Millerstown, and formerly of Connecticut, died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998 in Windham Hospital, Conn.
He was born Oct. 14, 1932 in Glens Falls, N.Y., to the late George and Pearl (Rivers) Golden.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 340 of Duncannon, Meadow Grove Sportsmen's Club of Newport, Hunters Valley Sportsmen's Club of Liverpool and Gold Prospectors Association of America.
Surviving are his wife, Lena (George) Desrosiers-Barney-Golden; five sons, Roger Golden of Chaplin, Conn., Donald Golden of Georgia, Raymond Golden of Colorado, Gary Golden of Maine and Scott Golden of Danielson, Conn.; three daughters, Cheryl Shekelton of Danielson, Kathleen Melanson of Maine and Donna Fahey of Woodstock, Conn., a stepdaughter, Laurel Lindsay of Liverpool; three stepsons, Edward Desrosiers, Raymond Desrosiers and Ronald Desrosiers, all of Maine; six brothers; seven sisters; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the convenience of the family.
