Elsie F. Ganger, 74, of Goshen, Ind., died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998 in Goshen General Hospital.
She was born March 21, 1924 in Perry County to the late John and Hester (Reisinger) Barnes.
She was a homemaker; attended Goshen City Church of the Brethren; and was a member of Elks Ladies and Maplecrest Country Club.
She was the widow of Alton Miller, who died Feb. 15, 1972, and Gerald "Jerry" Ganger, who died May 20, 1982.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Miller of San Diego, Calif.; a son, Luie Miller of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Julia Goers; a stepson, Wayne Ganger; four sisters, Thelma Waller, Mable Casner, Ethel Weibley and Betty Wenger, all of Perry County; and three brothers, Earl, John and Larry Barnes, all of Perry County.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Lester Barnes.
Services were held Sept. 14 in Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Carl officiating. Burial was in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen City Church of the Brethren.
H. Charmain Grubb, 61, of Centre Twp. died Sunday, May 24, 1998 at home.
She was born May 18, 1937 in Duncannon to the late Jeffrey and Florence (Shebla) Gardner.
She was a licensed practical nurse and an employee of Polyclinic Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Carl W. Grubb; two stepdaughters, Christine Stoner of Mifflintown and Carla Haubert of Thompsontown; a brother, John Hoffman of Texas; a sister, Roberta Lightner of Duncannon; her stepmother, Ida Gardner of Illinois, Gilbert Gardner of New Bloomfield, and Benny, Kenneth, Steve, Randy and David Gardner, all of Duncannon; a stepsister, Carrie Sofraanck of Newport; and one stepgranddaughter.
Services were held May 27 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. Alan K. Foor officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.
John H. Good, 79, of Lansvale Street, Marysville, died Friday, July 24, 1998 at home.
He was a retired Conrail brakeman and conductor; and a member of the Railroad Retirement and Railroad Retirees clubs, United Transportation Union, Marysville Fire Company and Marysville Sportsman's Club.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl A. Knaub Good; a daughter, C. Joan Hevel of Hummelstown; a brother, Dr. Archie L. of St. Paul, Minn.; and two grandchildren, Steve Hevel of Marysville and Dr. Joanie M. Hevel Browning of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Services were held July 29 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.

Kathryn M. Garman, 81, of Amity Road, Duncannon RR 4, died Friday, May 15, 1998 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon.
She was born April 25, 1917 at Bressler, Dauphin County, to the late Frank and Katherine Jurjevic.
She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Duncannon.
Surviving are her husband, Grant F. Garman; a daughter, Frances A. of Alexandria, Va.; and a sister, Ann M. Vukmanic of Bressler.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 20 in her church with Father John Greaney officiating. Burial was in Hill Cemetery, Duncannon RR 4.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.

Mark K. Graybill, 40, of Duncannon died Saturday, April 11, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He worked for Conrail as a bridge and building mechanic; was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Union, Duncannon Sons of the American Legion Post 3401 and Duncannon VFW Post 255; a Protestant; and a graduate of Camp Hill High School and Cumberland-Perry Vocational Technical School.
Surviving are his wife, Donna L. Kramer Graybill; two daughters, Ashley and Michelle, both at home; his parents, Harvey and Mae Graybill of Camp Hill; and a brother, Gary of Carlisle.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Trexler.
Services were April 16 in Myers-Harner Funeral Home, Camp Hill. Burial was in Locust Run Methodist Church Cemetery, Locust Run.

Norman Grant Gelnett Sr., 53, of Liverpool RR 1 died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born March 15, 1945 at McKees Half Falls, Snyder County, to Erma Arlene (Wildt) Gelnett of Sebring, Fla., and the late Grant Henry Gelnett.
He was employed by the Harrisburg State Hospital; attended the former Greenwood Joint High School, Millerstown, and graduated from Susquehanna Schools in Dauphin in 1965; attended St. John (Barner's) Lutheran Church, Liverpool RR 1; and was a member of Liverpool Fire Company and Liverpool Ambulance League.
In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 23 years, JoAnn Marie Hurter Gelnett; two sons, Norman G. Jr. of Elliottsburg and Thomas E. of Camp Hill; one daughter, Mary Ann Gelnett-Johnson of Harrisburg; two brothers, David E. of McAlisterville RR 1 and Dennis W. of Millerstown RR 2; three sisters, Dorothy "Arlene" McNaughton of Liverpool RR 1, Judy K. Nichols of Sebring, Fla., and Mary Lou Dick of Millerstown RR 2; and five grandsons, Quincy G. Gelnett-Johnson, Christopher G. Gelnett, Jonathan G. Gelnett, Kyle N. Johnson and Benjamin T.M. Gelnett.
Services were held Sept. 27 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Raymond D. Neitz officiating. Burial was in Halls Church Cemetery, Port Trevorton RR 1.
Ralph O. Grove, 70, of Millerstown RR 1 died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998 in ManorCare, Harrisburg.
He was born Sept. 7, 1927 at Mt. Union to the late Oliver and Susan (Goshorn) Grove.
He retired from H.R. Wentzel & Son, Landisburg; was a former farmer; and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was the widower of Martha E. Hampton Grove, who died April 20, 1976.
Surviving are a son, Ralph E. of New Bloomfield RR 1; a daughter, Vickie J. McMillen of Loysville RR 2; a stepson, Robert Landis of Mt. Union; two brothers, Roy and John Grove, both of Shirleysburg; two sisters, Grace Norris of Gainesville, Fla., and Betty Crary of Romeo, Mich; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Rockwell.
Services were held Jan. 31 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. Alan K. Foor officiating. Burial was in Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Loysville RR 1.

Alda B. Hockenberry, 83, of Chapel Pointe Nursing Home, Carlisle, died Monday, Oct. 12, 1998 in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born July 11, 1915 in Blairs Mills to the late William J. and Loretta (Smith) Smith.
She retired as a sewing machine operator for the former Newport Fashion dress factory in Newport, and was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Blain.
She was the widow of Wilmer B. Hockenberry Sr. Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Campbell of Loysville RR 1; three sons, Edwin N. of McVeytown, John E. of Danville and Gene A. of Newport; a brother, Junior H. Smith of Shermans Dale; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Wilmer B. Jr., who died June 17, 1998; four brothers, Cloyd W., John F., Merlle and Orlando "Ross" Smith; and a sister, Blanche Roberts.
Services were held Oct. 16 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. John S. Kipp officiating. Burial was in Blain Cemetery.
Mary Jane Hockenberry, 75, of Perlo Ridge Apartments, Loysville RR 1, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998 in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born Jan. 14, 1923 at New Bloomfield to the late Jacob and Florence (Fry) Kitner.
She was retired as an accounts payable clerk with Pennsy Supply Inc. of Harrisburg; a private chauffeur for 20 years; a charter member of New Life Assembly of God Church, Landisburg; a member of The Perry Historians, Golden Age Club of New Bloomfield and life member of the Molly Pitcher Button Club.
Surviving are two sons, Glenn E. Hockenberry of Carlisle and Karl G. Hockenberry of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Barbara A. Walker of Fort Myer, Fla.; two sisters, Olive Crull of Landisburg and Arlene Reisinger of Shermans Dale; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Seiders and Margaret Hutzell; and five brothers, Charles, Melvin, Floyd, William and John Kitner.
Services were held Nov. 9 in her church with the Rev. Larry J. Bidwell officiating. Burial was in the church Cemetery.
