Kenneth I. "Bunny" Miller, 73, of Newport RR 4 died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000 at home.
He was born May 30, 1927 in Mifflin County to the late James and Maufe (Fultz) Miller.
He attended Ickesburg Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, June M. Himes Miller, formerly of Milroy; a son, Kenneth I. Miller Jr. of Elliottsburg; six daughters, Sara J. Hinton of Liverpool, Tina M. Campbell of Millerstown, Rosie M. Campbell and Darlene K. Miller, both of New Bloomfield, Connie L. Miller of Newport and Linda L. Houston of Trafford; a brother, Raymond Miller of Lewistown; two sisters, Genevieve Murphy of Boiling Springs and Helen Dunn of Carlisle and Stella I. Sowers of Newport.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Newport Cemetery.
Myers Funeral Home, Newport, is handling arrangements.

Mary A. McClintock, 80, of Landisburg RR 1 died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000 at home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1920 in Upper Mifflin Twp. to the late Newton L. and Pearl (Henry) Gutshall.
She was a member of New Life Assembly of God, Landisburg RR 1, and the Landisburg Ambulance Club.
She was the widow of Kenneth S. McClintock.
Surviving are a son, Glenn E. of Ickesburg; two sisters, Bernice Weaver and Grace Zimmerman, both of St. Thomas; three half-sisters, Kathy Gutshall of Chambersburg, Pam Gutshall of Shippensburg and Theresa Keefer of St. Thomas; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 4 in her church with the Rev. Larry J. Bidwell officiating. Burial was in Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale.
Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, handled arrangements.

Mary Hazel Myers, 90, formerly of Newport, died Saturday, March 4, 2000 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born April 16, 1909 in Peoria, Ill., to the late Lemuel and Alice (Ames) Condon.
She was a graduate of Renova High School; a member of Hilltop Christian Church, Newport; and enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles.
She was the widow of Adam Earon Myers, who died June 19, 1968.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol M. Horting and Dorothy H. Dietzel, both of Newport; two sisters, Kathryn F. Condon and Anna G. Nash, both of Erie; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Beverly Myers and Mary K. Hickox; one brother, John Condon; and two sisters, Mabel Bowser and Ruth Woodward.
Graveside services were held March 7 in Sunnyside Cemetery, Mill Hall, with the Rev. James J. Penica officiating.
Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, handled arrangements.

Mary S. Messner, 88, of Loysville RR 2, formerly of Lykens, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born Aug. 12, 1911 at Lykens to the late John and Hattie (Miller) Fetterhoff.
She retired from Lebro Manufacturing Co., and enjoyed playing the piano and had been an accompanist for Les Brown before he established his Band of Renown.
She was the widow of William L. Messner, who died Oct. 20, 1955.
Surviving are two sons, William J. of Mechanicsville, Va., and James L. of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Catherine E. Markel of Loysville; a stepbrother, Ted C. of New Bloomfield; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert.
Services were held Feb. 25 in Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, with the Rev. David M. Brungard officiating. Burial was in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.

Oleta M. Meyers, 94, formerly of Newport, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield.
She was born April 4, 1906 in Newport to the late George and Carrie (Mitchell) Hombach.
She retired as a designer from a Vermont hosiery manufacturing company; was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Newport Garden Club; and enjoyed flowers, crocheting and knitting.
She was the widow of John Weaver and Richard Meyers.
Surviving are two sisters, Ardella Brubaker and Virginia Baker, both of Newport.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Violet Rice.
Services were held Dec. 18 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Revs. Irene Friberg-Dussaq and Jay Eickhoff officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Robert Blair Murray, 84, of N. Front Street, Liverpool, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000 at home.
He was born Dec. 4, 1916 in Lemoyne to the late Charles B. and Bertha (Knouse) Murray.
He retired in 1978 as a project engineer after a 35-year career with the state Department of Transportation, Harrisburg; an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Liverpool, American Legion Post 364, Liverpool, and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 925, Millerstown.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Mary Elizabeth "Tibby" (Miller) Murray; a son, Robert W. of Wyomissing; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Smith and M. Merle Light.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, in his church, 1000 N. Front St., Liverpool, with the Rev. James R. Bramer officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Liverpool Union Cemetery.

Ruth E. Magaro, 81, of S. River Road, Halifax, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000 at home.
She was born July 5, 1919 at Port Trevorton to the late Albert H. and Bessie (Sholley) Flanders.
She was a retired beautician; and a member of St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, Duncannon, and its Parish Council of Catholic Women.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene E. Magaro; two sons, James E. of Newport and Joseph M. of Halifax; a daughter, Bernadette M. Zebel of Duncannon; two brothers, Max and Harold Flanders, both of Port Trevorton; and six grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Oct. 31 in her church with Father Thomas J. Rozman officiating. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp.
Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.
