Paul B. Stallings, 70, of 130 S. Third Street, Harrisburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000 at home.
He was born Dec. 8, 1929 in Portsmouth, Va., to the late James P. and Dorothy E. (Creasy) Stallings.
He was a photographer and draftsman; a Navy veteran of the Korean War; and active in Alcoholics Anonymous.
Surviving are two sons, William of El Paso, Texas, and Michael of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a daughter, Dawn Marie of Port St. Lucie; a brother, David of Wisconsin; three grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and his extended family, Lisa Shutt of Duncannon, Judy Dobson of Harrisburg and Walter Johnson of Carsonville.
Services were held Dec. 11 in Boyer Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Burial was Dec. 13 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Paul E. Shaffer, 82, of Marina Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Duncannon and Forestville, Md., died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000 in Spohn South Hospital.
He was born Oct. 31, 1917 in Duncannon to the late Joseph and Minnie (Beers) Shaffer.
He was a retired poultry retailer from College Hill Poultry, Fredericksburg; a past master of Sojourner's Lodge 51 F&AM, Potomac Lodge 5 F&AM, Commandery Chapter 1, and York Cross of Honor, all of Washington, D.C.
Surviving are his wife, Vivian Dauberman Shaffer; a daughter, Joan Carpenter of Corpus Christi; three grandchildren; and five great-grandsons.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Jan. 20, in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
Viewing will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m., Jan. 20, in the funeral home, with Masonic services at 10:45.
Robert Collier "Bob" Smith, 69, of Washington Street, Frederick, Md., formerly of New Bloomfield, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2000.
He was born Sept. 20, 1931 in Perry County to the late George William "Bill" and Annie E. (Weldon) Smith.
He was an expert mechanic and enjoyed traveling, gardening and bird feeding, auctions and yard sales.
He was the widower of Hazel M. Warren Smith.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia A. Smith and Donna J. Smith, both of Frederick; a sister, Regina Smith-Dunkinson of Hummelstown; two brothers, George S. of Newport and Donald R. of Lakeland, Fla.; and five grandsons, Erik, Dominic, Wayne, Antonio and Jesse Smith.
A memorial service was held Nov. 27 in New Bloomfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Manthey officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

Roland E. Shotsberger, 71, of Millerstown RR 1 died Monday, March 20, 2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born May 1, 1928 in Millerstown to the late John S. and Charlotte (Paden) Shotsberger.
He was owner of the former Variety Discount Store, Newport, and enjoyed playing music and hunting.
He was the widower of Treva I. Shotsberger.
Surviving are a son, Clint R. of Millerstown, and two brothers, Clyde E. of Carlisle and Harold R. of Millerstown.
Services were held March 23 in Donnally Mills United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Behrens officiating. Burial was in Eshcol Cemetery.

Ronald I. Secrist, 63, of the Honaman House, Thompsontown, formerly of Millerstown, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born Oct. 20, 1937 in Millerstown to the late J. LeRoy and LeeEmma (Ward) Secrist.
He was retired from the Pennsylvania State Museum, Harrisburg; a graduate of Millerstown High School; and was a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two brothers, Wayne L. of Charlotte, N.C., and H. David of Pinehurst, N.C., and six nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary W. Secrist.
Services were held Dec. 13 in Sheaffer Funeral Home, Millerstown, with the Rev. Dr. James R. Behrens and the Rev. Katherine A. Behrens officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.

Ray Leroy Swartz, 74, of Mount Pleasant Mills RR 1 died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000 at home.
He was born July 8, 1926 in Juniata County to the late Leroy Z. and Sadie (Moyer) Swartz.
He was in his 32nd year as a Perry Twp., Snyder County, supervisor and road foreman; had been employed by the former Pennsylvania Railroad, Enola yards; a farmer; an Army veteran; a member of St. Thomas Independent Brethren in Christ Church, Mount Pleasant Mills RR 2, where he was a former Sunday school teacher, youth adviser and former board member, and the Snyder County Township Association; and enjoyed metal detecting and hunting.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Jeanetta R. Troup Swartz; two daughters, Lorna J. Hockenbroch of Mount Pleasant Mills RR 1 and Peggy J. Rathfon of Lewisburg; two brothers, Vincent of Port Royal and Bryant of Millerstown RR 2; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Moyer David Swartz; a sister, Evelyn Shaffer; and a granddaughter, Allison Jean Hockenbroch.
Services were held Oct. 19 in his church with the Rev. Roger L. Womer officiating. Burial was in Aline United Methodist Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills RR 1.

Ralph R. Snyder Sr., 78, of Valley Street, Marysville, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born Sept. 25, 1922 in Fisherville, Dauphin County, to the late William and Vergie Snyder.
He was retired from Conrail.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine Troutman Snyder; three sons, Ralph J. of Duncannon, Phillip of Dauphin and David of Marysville; four daughters, Patricia Borrell of New Bloomfield, Teresa Monaco of Shermans Dale, Mary Hurst of Hummelstown and Susan Kaveney of Harrisburg; two sisters, Mildred Shoop and Jean Wolfe, both of Halifax; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 22 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Randolph R. Supko, 65, of Marysville died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He retired from the former American Can Co., Lemoyne, and was a local businessman; an Air Force veteran of the Korean War; a former member of American Legion Post 1001; a life member of Marysville VFW Post 882; and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church and Moose Lodge 107, both of Marysville, and Enola American Legion Post 751.
Surviving are his wife, Audrey Little Supko; two daughters, Vickie L. Miller of Harrisburg and Barbara J. Phillips of Tamaqua; three sons, Russell R., Phillip D. and James M., all of Marysville; a stepson, William J. Little of Mechanicsburg; a stepdaughter, Pamela J. Johnson of Enola; a sister, Madeline Decker, and a brother, Richard, both of Perdix; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 28 in his church. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.

Ronald Simpson, 70, of the Donna Sweger Dom-Care Home, Ickesburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born May 24, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio.
He was a former commercial truck driver; a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War; and attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ickesburg.
Surviving are his wife, E. Betty Simpson; three daughters, Emma Helm of Port Royal, Catherine Navarro of Kings Mountain, N.C., and Mable Marie Master of Punxsutawney; a son, Ronald Simpson of Ickesburg; a stepson, Roger A. Gum of Columbus, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Sheryl Ann Gulla of Port Jarvis, N.Y., and Sharon Rose Shannon of Sharon; a brother, Oscar of West Middlesex; two sisters, Lennie Koster of Englewood, Ohio, and Rose Clearwater of Gold City, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda K. Simpson; a stepson, John William Gum; four brothers, Charles, Oscar, Donald and William Simpson; and two sisters, Jessie Taylor and Laura M. Rector.
Services were held Jan. 2 in St. Paul's Church with the Rev. Karen Easterly officiating. Burial, with military honors, was Jan. 4 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Robert S. "Steve" Stephens, 79, of Marysville died Thursday, March 16, 2000 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He worked for the former Pennsylvania Railroad and retired from Conrail; was the first Eagle Scout in Marysville; past commander of VFW Post 882, Marysville; an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Marysville.
He was the widower of Joyce Geib Stephens.
Surviving are one son, Larry L. of Landisburg; one daughter, Linda J. Barthel of Marysville; one sister, Dorothy O. Kauffman of Marysville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 21 in Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Burial, with military honors, was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.
